What Is The Factory System

A big part of the progression system in Arknights: Endfield and a crucial part to the game’s overall gameplay is the factory building system, where players need to set up multiple working production lines to produce important products to either be sold or used to craft various important game items.

Arknights: Endfield Factory

The goal of building factories is to produce as many usable and sellable items as possible while consuming as little resources as possible. Some of the most important products players can produce as the endgame goals for factories are Blood Capsules (items used in battle to heal Operators), Batteries (provide factories energy to fuel operation) and Cryston Components (to create and Augment Gears to strengthen Operators). Players won’t be able to fully advance in the game and build up their Operators for endgame contents unless they work on a decently efficiently self-sustain Factory System.

Main And Sub Bases

The factories areas are divided into main bases and sub bases for both the big areas like Valley 4 and Wuling, with Valley 4 having access to 1 main base and 3 sub bases, while Wuling having access to 1 main base and 1 sub base as of the release of the game.

Arknights: Endfield Factory Bases

The main difference between main and sub bases is the maximum sizes and upgradables, with main bases having more opportune and bigger areas and upgradables, while sub bases are generally smaller in size and have less upgrades. Therefore, it is generally recommended that players use the main base as the main production line for the important products, while the sub bases work as materials production lines to fuel the main production line.

Mining Set Ups, Planting Set Ups And Power

To begin setting your bases, players will need to establish several mining pipelines by placing electric relay towers all over the game map. You will need to manually connect these electric relay towers together from the different main and sub spaces to the mining ore veins throughout the world in order for the ores to be directed into the different area’s depot. These ores will be the first step in starting your factory set up as the majority of the materials needed to produce actual usable products from the factories will be created using the ores as the base.

Arknights: Endfield Self-Sufficient Factory

Another important resource players will need to make in order to create ingredients for products are plants and plant seeds, both of which can be obtained through exploration and by setting up a perpetual plant farm, with 2 planting machines and 1 seed picking machine linked to each other. Like ores, players will need large quantities of different plants in order to create materials.

The last thing players need to set up first in a base is the power. The more you expand the relay tower lines to the mining veins and the more machines you use in the factory, the more power will be needed to keep the machines active. If the power is low, none of your machines will actually work and it will completely halt your factory production lines, therefore, players need to prepare a good power source in the form of Thermal banks before expanding their factories.

Depot Level, Depot Exchange & Depot Bills

An important part to advance in the factory building process is that you will need to raise your Depot level in order to be able to exchange your products for money to advance in the game.

Arknights: Endfield Depot

When exploring the world and by unlocking and upgrading your bases, you will be able to raise your depot level, which improves the amount of depot bills you can obtain, the goods you can make, improving the amount of ores you can get per second and most importantly, reward you with a good amount of pulls and important rewards for game progression.

Upon unlocking sub bases and progress in the game, you will also unlock the Stock Redistribution Exchange, where you can  sell the products you made to the local depots to earn regional Depot bills, which can be used to upgrade the various facilities in the factory and exchange for amazing important progression items. Additionally the more you level up the different local depots, the more items you can sell them and the more stock bills you can accumulate, allowing you to buy important items.

Depot Upgrades & Depot Bus

Another important aspect of base building that players will need to prepare for is the different base upgrades available for the different main base and sub bases in the game, including area expansion and the Depot Bus upgrades.

These upgrades can be unlocked once players have advanced a decent amount in the game’s story and are available for purchase using stock bills of each region. Unlocking these upgrades will require a large amount of depot stock bills, so players should prepare for these as much as possible in advance.

These upgrades will help expand your factories, unlock more ways to quicken your production and help you to have enough spaces to create more profitable products.

Stock Exchange & Delivery Job

Finally, the 2 most profitable things players can do to get a large amount of Stock Bills to upgrade their factories and base areas are the Stock Exchange and Delivery Job, both of which can be unlocked as you progress in the story.

Arknights: Endfield Factory Stock Exchange

The Stock Exchange allows you to buy certain items at a low price and sell them to your friends at a higher price, allowing you to get a large amount of stock bills quickly. Meanwhile, delivery job allow you to do deliveries that will reward you with a decently larger amount of stock bills as well, allowing you

Upgrade Your Bases As Quickly As Possible

To be able to create a good amount of products needed for endgame contents, players will need to have enough spaces and depot buses to use. Therefore, upgrading the bases should be your main priority.

Use Blueprints

If you don’t have time to set up your factories yourself or if you don’t want to have to painstakingly min-max everything on your own, then don’t hesitate to make use of special blueprints made by other players.

Using blueprints shared by other players will help you save a good amount of time and allow you to focus on building characters instead. The only downside is the blueprints are region locked, so you have to use the blueprints made by your own region’s players.

Here are some good blueprints for the Asia server that we were able to find that can be of use for you. Credits to their respective creators:

Remember To Do Your Daily Stock Exchange And Delivery Jobs

Stock exchange and delivery jobs reset dailies and is a consistent source of stock bills needed for base upgrades, therefore, players should remember to do these daily.

Arknights: Endfield Factory Delivery Job

If you don’t want to do the delivery job yourself but still want to get the stock bills, you can make use of the game’s Transfer job feature, allowing another player to take on the delivery job for you, rewarding both you and the other player with stock bills once the job is complete.
