What Is The Factory System

A big part of the progression system in Arknights: Endfield and a crucial part to the game’s overall gameplay is the factory building system, where players need to set up multiple working production lines to produce important products to either be sold or used to craft various important game items.

The goal of building factories is to produce as many usable and sellable items as possible while consuming as little resources as possible. The main difference between main and sub bases is the maximum sizes and upgradables, with main bases having more opportune and bigger areas and upgradables, while sub bases are generally smaller in size and have less upgrades. Additionally the more you level up the different local depots, the more items you can sell them and the more stock bills you can accumulate, allowing you to buy important items. 

Depot Upgrades & Depot Bus

Another important aspect of base building that players will need to prepare for is the different base upgrades available for the different main base and sub bases in the game, including area expansion and the Depot Bus upgrades.

These upgrades can be unlocked once players have advanced a decent amount in the game’s story and are available for purchase using stock bills of each region. Unlocking these upgrades will require a large amount of depot stock bills, so players should prepare for these as much as possible in advance.
