General Information

In Arknights: Endfield, a team consist of a total of 4 different members, with 1 character being the main controlled on-field operator most of the time while the other 3 will help them by using their combat and combo skills to either facilitate the team’s playstyle or offer buffs to the entire team depending on their skill effects. This means that, the majority of good teams in the game consist mainly of a main DPS character, 2 or more Sub DPS facilitator Operators that can help facilitate the main DPS’s damage combo and a support/sustain character capable of buffing and healing the team. That being said, if players are skilled enough with their positioning and dodging, a sustain character is not as needed, meaning you can run a full DPS team with no sustain characters to optimize the team’s damage output.

The game’s damage is divided mainly into 2 types: Physical Damage and Arts Damage, with Arts damage being further divided into 4 different elements: Heat, Cryo, Electric and Nature.

For the Physical Team, it utilizes a lot of different effects and abilities to apply Vulnerability stacks onto enemies by utilizing different effects such as Breach, Knock Down,Lift and Crush. Once applied, various skill effects of Physical Damage Operators can consume these Vulnerability Stacks to gain amazing benefits for the team or to deal massive amounts of Physical Damage to enemies. Additionally, these effects can offer amazing crowd control abilities to enemies, helping the Physical team to control the battlefield with ease thanks to their amazing skill kit.

The current best Physical team in the game consist of:

Endministrator/ Da PanLifeng/ Chen QianyuPogranichnikArdelia/ Gilberta/ Catcher
Main DPSSub DPS/ SupportSub DPS/ SupportSupport/ Sustain

In a physical damage team comp, the main DPS role can be fulfilled by either the Endministator or Da Pan, depending on which of the 2 players have invested more into. Both of these options function similarly to each other: deal amazing Physical Damage to enemies and gain amazing benefits by consuming stacks of Vulnerability on enemies to deal even more Physical Damage to enemies.

Arknights: Endfield Da Pan

Endministrator or Endmin main effect is the unique Originium Crystal effect, which deals additional Physical Damage to enemies by consuming Vulnerability Stacks on enemies, with the more Vulnerability stacks they have, the more damage it will do. This is counted as a separate instance of Physical damage to enemies, so it is especially effective against enemies with 4 Vulnerability stacks on them. Additionally, Endministrator’s Combat Skill allows them to apply Crush on enemies, which can either apply a Vulnerability stack on enemies if they have none or consume all Vulnerability stacks on the enemy to deal more Physical damage to them.

Da Pan functions slightly differently from Endmin as he is a more pure Physical DPS character. Da Pan’s main damage output comes from his powerful ability to essentially spam his combo skill against enemies with 4 stacks of Vulnerability. Da Pan’s Battle Skill allows him to forcefully lift the enemies and apply Vulnerability stacks on enemies. Whenever an enemy is inflicted with 4 stacks of Vulnerability, Da Pan can immediately use his Combo Skill, which applies Crush on all enemies, consuming all their Vulnerability stacks and dealing massive amounts of Physical damage to them. Furthermore, when using his Ultimate, Da Pan can both Lift and Knock Down enemies while dealing up to 6 instances of Physical damage, allowing him to apply 2 stacks of Vulnerability in quick succession and then trigger his Combo skill to consume them for powerful Physical damage output.

In terms of which of the two players should invest in, it is highly recommended that players invest in Endmin for early to mid game but invest more on Da Pan for Endgame contents, since these two fills the same role and uses the same types of weapon, investing in one before switching to the other is okay. While Endmin is easier to use overall with decently high damage output, Da Pan’s damage ceiling is way higher and is more comfortable to use overall when you have a fully built Physical team to support him.

For the role of sub DPS and Vulnerability stacks enabler, players should use either Lifeng or Chen Qianyu for this role. If you are playing sustainless team comp for maximum damage output, then using both of them in the same team is highly recommended.

Arknights: Endfield Lifeng

Lifeng is an amazing Vulnerability stack enabler and support character, capable of elevating the team’s physical damage output by a massive amount thanks to his ability to apply Physical Susceptibility onto enemies and granting the team the Link effect. When using his battle skill, if the enemies doesn’t have a Vulnerability stack, Lifeng will apply Physical Susceptibility on enemies, making them take more Physical damage for a period of time. If they already have Vulnerability stack on them, he will apply an additional Vulnerability stack on them. Lifeng’s main skill is his Ultimate, which allows him to crowd control a massive area of enemies, drawing them into the center of his attack and knocking them down 2 times, applying 2 vulnerability stacks onto the enemies and dealing amazing Physical damage to them. Finally, when an ally hits an enemy with Vulnerability stack with a final strike, Lifeng will deal a good instance of Physical damage to the enemy with his combo skill and apply a Link effect, enhancing the damage output of the next skill or ultimate use by anyone.

Chen Qianyu functions somewhat similar to Lifeng, albeit with less crowd control ability but easier to use skill kit. Chen Qianyu’s gameplan is relatively simple: apply as much Vulnerability stacks onto the enemies as quickly as possible with her battle and combo skill. By using her battle skill, Chen can Lift the enemy and apply a stack of Vulnerability to the enemy. This can be immediately followed up by her combo skill, which immediately allows her to lift the enemies into the air once again, applying an additional stack of vulnerability to them. These two skills can be used in quick succession to quickly raise the enemies’ Vulnerability stacks and help to facilitate Physical damage team’s gameplay quickly.

Pogranichnik is a very important character for the Physical team as he offers way too many benefits and powerful effects for the Physical team that makes the team way smoother to operate and deal way more damage when he is around.

Arknights: Endfield Pogranichnik

Pogranichnik’s main utility comes from his amazing ability to generate a large amount of SP for the team while also offering amazing crowd control effects and Physical damage buff on top of that. Pogranichnik’s gameplan is relatively simple: use his battle skill to apply breach to enemies to consume as many stacks of Vulnerability on enemies as possible and allow Pogranichnik to recover the team’s SP based on the amount of stacks consumed. Once Breach is applied, Pogranichnik can use his Combo Skill to deal up to 3 slashes of Physical damage to enemies depending on how many stacks of Vulnerability he consumed, allowing him to generate even more SP the more slashes he does to enemies. Finally, when using his Ultimate, Pogranichnik can summon his shieldguards to harass the enemies whenever the enemy is inflicted with Physical statuses or attacked by his combo skill, allowing Pogranichnik to deal amazing physical damage to them while also crowd controlling them, helping to reposition the enemies while also buffing the overall damage output of the team.

As the physical team is a very SP hungry team, having Pogranichnik in the team helps to massively improve the way the team functions with his amazing SP recovery effects on all of his abilities. Therefore, having Pogranichnik is very important if you want to make a proper Physical team.

Last but not least, for the sustain slot for the team, players can use either Ardelia, Gilberta or Catcher for this slot, each with their own unique effect to bring to the Physical team.

Arknights: Endfield Catcher

Ardelia is a safe and comfortable sustain option with her ability to heal a lot with her skill and Ultimate while also being able to inflict the Physical susceptibility effect onto the enemy, helping to boost the overall damage dealt by the team.

Gilberta is a more crowd control focus option as she is able to group enemies together and apply the Lift effect to them, offering the team an additional instance of Vulnerability stack on the enemies.

For a F2P sustain option, players can run Catcher in the physical team with his ability to provide the team with powerful shielding, healing and even recovering some SP for the team when he successfully parries the enemies’ attacks. Additionally, Catcher can apply up to 2 Vulnerability stacks for the team, 1 with his Battle Skill and 1 with his Ultimate, helping to supplement the team with easier Vulnerability stacks.
