Tangtang is a 6-star Operator of the Caster Class and Cryo Element. She wields dual handcannons as her main weapons and specializes in crowd controlling large groups of enemies while dealing Cryo damage to them and inflicting both Cryo Infliction and Arts susceptibility effects on them to help facilitate the Cryo team’s playstyles.

Arknights: Endfield Tangtang
Basic Attack: An attack with up to 5 sequences that deals Cryo DMG. As the controlled operator, Final Strike also deals 18 Stagger
Dive Attack: Basic attack performed in mid-air becomes a dive attack that deals Cryo DMG to nearby enemies.
Finisher: Basic attack performed near a Staggered enemy becomes a finisher that deals massive Cryo DMG and recovers some SP.
Basic AttackLeveling Priority: Low
Reason: Tangtang’s normal attacks are rarely used as she doesn’t want to be the main on field operator, so players do not need to level this up unless you want to maximize her damage output.
Tangtang jumps out from the water and fires a point-blank shot that deals Cryo DMG to the enemy and creates a Waterspout.
Casting the battle skill also consumes all nearby Whirlpools to create additional Waterspouts and return some SP based on the number of Waterspouts created.
Waterspout: Applies 1 stack of Cryo Infliction on enemies within range and deals Cryo DMG over time. If the battle skill creates multiple Waterspouts, they also apply Arts Susceptibility to enemies (but not another stack of Cryo Infliction).
DMG dealt by the Waterspout is treated as Battle Skill DMG.
Battle SkillLeveling Priority: High
Reason: Tangtang’s main damaging move, so players should level this up as much as possible.
When applying Cryo Infliction or dealing Arts Burst DMG to an enemy. Tangtang unleashes a powerful jet stream that penetrates all enemies in its path, deals Cryo DMG to them, and creates a Whirlpool.Up to 2 Whirlpools can exist in the battlefield at any time.
Combo SkillLeveling Priority: High
Reason: A good portion of Tangtang’s damage comes from her combo skill, so players should level this up as high as possible.
Tangtang opens her eyepatch and unleashes an OLDEN STARE from her eye that temporarily locks down, immobilizes, and deals Cryo DMG over time to enemies within its area of effect. When the OLDEN STARE stops evolving, a rogue wave comes crashing down to deal massive Cryo DMG to enemies in its area of effect. If the controlled operator performs a dive attack in the OLDEN STARE pattern, its evolution ends and the rogue wave is summoned immediately to deal even more Cryo DMG.
UltimateLeveling Priority: High
Reason: Another one of Tangtang’s amazing skills that accounts for a large portion of her damage output, so players should level this up as high as they can.
When within a 5-meter radius of a Whirlpool, allied operators gain 20% Haste while enemies suffer 40% Slow. These effects persist for 3s after leaving the area of effect.
Talent 1Unlock Priority: High
Reason: An amazing talent that further boosts Tangtang’s support ability for the team.
During OLDEN STARE, performing a dive attack with the controlled operator ends its evolution early and creates a Waterspout. All nearby Whirlpools are also consumed and converted into additional Waterspouts. Waterspouts created this way have the same effects as those created by the battle skill IMA WAVERIDAAH! and gain DMG Dealt 60%.
Talent 2Unlock Priority: High
Reason: Another amazing talent for Tangtang that allows her to create additional Watersprout to apply Cryo Inflicitions.

Tangtang is an amazing Cryo character that serves as a fantastic Sub DPS and support role for any Cryo team due to how universally beneficial her skill kit is for Cryo teams.

Tangtang’s main gimmick lies in her ability to summon whirlpools onto the field using her various abilities and apply powerful Cryo Infliction stacks and buffs to the entire team. Whenever Tangtang places down whirlpools onto the field, when enemies comes into contact with these whirlpools or when a certain amount of whirlpools are on the field, they will trigger on the enemies and trap them within a certain area, crowd controlling them and dealing Cryo damage to them. This serves as an excellent way to group up enemies and crowd control them for the team to dish out damage against large groups of enemies.

When Tangtang uses her battle skill, she can inflict Cryo Infliction stacks on enemies and apply the Arts susceptibility effect on them. This massively helps the Cryo team to set up and deal more Arts damage to the enemies as all of the Cryo main DPS characters want to take advantage of as many Cryo Infliction stacks on the enemies as possible.

Upon using her Ultimate, Tangtang can immediately stop time in a large area, rendering all enemies within the area immobilized and deal Cryo damage to them constantly. This ability is a one of a kind powerful crowd control effect ability to make Tangtang into a very strong crowd control operator.

As a Sub DPS/ Support character that excels at crowd controlling enemies, Tangtang wants weapons that help boost her overall Agility and Strength, as well as weapons that can grant beneficial effects for the entire team.
