After the event ends, players will not be able to read these stories for at least a while and will need to spend Golden Certificates to buy special out-of-season Vignette records to view these and obtain their rewards, so players should take the time to finish these stories before the event ends.
Arknights Fantasy in The Mirage Rate Up Banner – Should You Pull
With the release of the limited time Fantasy in The Mirage Vignette Event, a special banner will also be released alongside the event, featuring 3 rated up operators – the 5-star Primal Caster Warmy, the 5-star Medic Record Keeper and the 6-star Guard Leizi The Thunderbringer.
Warmy
Warmy is a 5-star Caster of Primal Caster archetype, an archetype whose focus is on dealing extra damage to enemies inflicted with Elemental Damage.

Warmy’s main gimmick lies in her skill kit that deal additional arts and elemental damage to enemies suffering from the burst effect of the Burn Elemental Damage, allowing her to deal with enemies effectively when they are inflicted with enough Burn Elemental Damage.
Warmy’s skill allows her to deal Arts damage to enemies in her range up to 3 enemies at once and have a charge effect where players can delay her skill release for additional effects and damage. If she attacks enemies suffering from Burn, she will deal additional elemental Damage in addition to her usual Arts damage, allowing her to wipe them out with ease.
Record Keeper
Record Keeper is a 5-star Medic of the Medic archetype, which specializes in dealing one ally at a time and providing them with high healing and some additional buffs depending on the operator. Record Keeper is a very usual Medic operator, whose job is to heal a lot and keep allies alive with his skill kit with no real additional effects or gimmicks.

Record Keeper’s job is quite simple: keeping individual operators in his range alive. His abilities allow him to boost his own healing effect by increasing his own attack stat. After he provides healing to allies, he grants them a buff that automatically triggers when the operator takes damage again, healing them for a moderate amount. This skill allows him to completely mitigate all DoT damage dealt to allies for a short period of time and allow other operators to have a good defensive passive heal when needed.
When an ally uses their skill within Record Keeper’s range, he will gain SP and have increased attack speed, allowing players to speed up his skill usage and help Record Keeper heal allies quicker. This makes him extremely useful to run alongside characters that use their skills a lot or can auto activate their skills.
Leizi The Thunderbringer
The main attraction for the event and the 6-star rate up operator, Leizi The Thunderbringer or Leizi Alter is a 6-star Guard Operator of the Liberator Archetype, whose gimmick revolves around not attacking when their skills are not active, but unleash devastating power when their skills are active. For Leizi Alter, if her skill is not active, she will take off into the sky and can’t be targeted by ground enemies’ ranged attacks. When in this state, she can still be attacked by aerial enemies but she can also block aerial enemies.

In essence, Leizi Alter is essentially an Arts damage version of the most powerful Liberator Guard in the form of Mylnar, with her abilities and effects being somewhat similar to Mylnar. Leizi Alter’s main gimmick lies in her ability to rain down powerful thunder strikes on enemies, dealing Arts damage in a big range in front of her when her skill is active. When these thunderstrikes hit the ground, they will bounce towards titles beyond her range, dealing Arts damage to all enemies that are struck by them.
When her skill is active, Leizi alter will turn all the titles within her range into lightning titles, dealing constant Arts damage to enemies within her range and inflicting them with the Frightening effect every so often. These enemies won’t be able to attack when they are inflicted with the debuff. Leizi’s 3rd skill builds on this by making her deal Physical damage in a wide area and create powerful electric currents that travel around and beyond her range. Any enemies struck by her lightning or hit by the electric currents will take additional arts damage based on Leizi’s attack and will have a chance to be frightened.
Should You Roll
Yes if you want a strong DPS character. No if you already have good DPS characters.

As Leizi Alter is the main attraction of this banner, the value of the banner is solely carried by her being the rated up character. Leizi Alter is a very strong mixed DPS with the potential to both deal strong Physical and Arts damage to enemies in a large area and even have the ability to inflict powerful crowd control debuff on enemies, making her a perfect prime example of a good to amazing DPS character in Arknights. That being said, she is not a must have operator in terms of overall usefulness if you already have other powerful DPS carry in the game like W Alter, Mylnar, Logos, etc. She is a strong unit to have, but she is not a must have in the overall meta of the game.
Additionally, since Leizi Alter is not a limited character, she will be added to the permanent pool after her banner ends and players can still get her in the future by rolling on other banners, so this is also something to consider.
Conclusion
The brand new Liberator guard with an interesting skill kit that mixes Arts and Physical damage together, Leizi The Thunderbringer is an interesting operator that players should keep an eye on thanks to her unique abilities and playstyle.
