Who is Castorice?

Castorice is a 5★ Quantum unit on the Remembrance Path, specializing in amplifying follow-up attack teams and generating Energy through her unique buff cycling. She provides consistent Crit DMG and DMG% buffs to allies while enhancing the team’s rotation speed. Her kit is designed to shine in coordinated setups that rely on triggering multiple follow-up attacks each turn. With excellent synergy in Quantum-based or FUA-centric teams, she can act as both a primary buffer and rotation accelerator.

Castorice’s Kit: Abilities, Talents, and Eidolons

Basic ATK –Lament, Nethersea’s Ripple

Deals Quantum DMG equal to 50% of Castorice’s Max HP to one designated enemy.

Skill – Silence, Wraithfly’s Caress

Consumes 30% of all allies’ current HP. Deals Quantum DMG equal to 50% of Castorice’s Max HP to one designated enemy and Quantum DMG equal to 30% of Castorice’s Max HP to adjacent targets.

If the current HP is insufficient, reduces the current HP down to 1.

If Netherwing is on the battlefield, the Skill becomes “Boneclaw, Doomdrake’s Embrace” instead.

Skill –Boneclaw, Doomdrake’s Embrace

Consumes 40% of the current HP of all allies (except Netherwing). Castorice and Netherwing launch Joint ATK on the targets, dealing Quantum DMG equal to 30% and 50% of Castorice’s Max HP to all enemies. If the current HP is insufficient, reduces the current HP down to 1.

Ultimate – Doomshriek, Dawn’s Chime

Summons the memosprite Netherwing and advances its action by 100%. At the same time, deploys the Territory “Lost Netherland,” which decreases all enemies’ All-Type RES by 20%. If Castorice has the DMG Boost effect from her Talent, then this effect spreads to Netherwing. Netherwing has an initial SPD of 165 and a set Max HP equal to 100% of max “Newbud.” After Netherwing experiences 3 turns or when its HP is 0, it disappears and dispels the Territory “Lost Netherland.”.

Talent & Support

Talent – The maximum limit of “Newbud” is related to the levels of all characters on the battlefield. For every 1 point of HP lost by all allies, Castorice gains 1 point of “Newbud.” When “Newbud” reaches its maximum limit, can activate the Ultimate. When allies lose HP, Castorice’s and Netherwing’s DMG dealt increases by 20%. This effect can stack up to 3 time(s), lasting for 3 turn(s).Technique – At the start of battle, Castorice grants all allies a short-duration DMG buff, making her a strong initiator for fast clears.

Support-After obtaining Castorice or when Castorice is in the current team, receive the following effect: In battle, when an ally character receives a killing blow, all ally characters that received a killing blow in this action enter the “Mooncocoon” state. Characters in “Mooncocoon” temporarily delay becoming downed and can take actions normally. After the action and before the start of the next turn, if their current HP increases or they gain a Shield, “Mooncocoon” is removed. Otherwise, they will be downed immediately. This effect can only trigger once per battle.

Technique- Wail, Death’s Herald

After using Technique, enters the “Netherveil” state that lasts for 20 seconds. While “Netherveil” is active, enemies are unable to actively approach Castorice.

During “Netherveil,” active attacks will cause all enemies within range to enter combat. At the same time, summons the memosprite Netherwing, advances its action by 100%, and deploys the Territory “Lost Netherland.” Netherwing has its current HP equal to 50% of max “Newbud.” After entering battle, consumes 40% of the current HP of all allies (except Netherwing).

• To Evernight’s Stars – While the energy restoration is negligible, To Evernight’s Stars increases Castorice’s HP and all memosprites in the party can ignore enemy DEF.

Premium Team

Castorice/Evernight/ Tribbie /Hyacine

Castorice’s best team features Evernight and Tribbie since their buffs help out the most for her damage. Tribbie will also benefit from Castorice’s high HP, which will increase her own damage.

Hyacine is the best healer for this team since she can heal all allies and increase the Max HP of the team. Hyacine can also consume more HP through Little Ica and buildup Newbud faster than any other sustain.

F2P Option

Castorice/Trailblazer (Ice)/Pela/Lynx

Castorice’s best free-to-play teammate is the Remembrance Trailblazer with at least E1 unlocked. The Remembrance Trailblazer can provide CRIT DMG buffs, True DMG, and turn advance to Castorice, increasing her damage output.

Pela can decrease the DEF of all enemies while Lynx can increase Castorice’s HP with her Skill.
