Wuthering Waves 2.6 Launch Details
The Wuthering Wave 2.6 update rolled out globally on August 28, 2025, after a maintenance period. All eligible players who created a character and unlocked mail before maintenance have received 300 Astrites and 2 Crystal Solvents via in-game mail as compensation, which are claimable within 30 days. An additional 300 Astrites were also distributed for bug fixes. The patch is available across PC, PS5, iOS, Android, and Steam, with pre-downloads enabled 1-2 days prior.

Phase 1 banners are activated immediately post-launch, while Phase 2 begins on September 17, 2025, and the update concludes on October 8, 2025.
Banner Breakdown: Phases, Pity System, and Pull Advice
Wuthering Wave 2.6 comes with a triple-banner format in Phase 1, with shared pity, and it is transitioning to a dual-banner in Phase 2. There will be standard pity mechanics as soft pity builds from 60-70 pulls, hard pity guarantees a 5-star at 80 pulls (50/50 for featured Resonators), and a loss ensures the featured unit at 160 pulls.
We have weapon banners as well with the new update, which hits hard pity at 65 pulls, with a pull guaranteeing signatures after two misses. Pulls cost 160 Astrites or 1 Radiant Tide each.
If you are a free-to-play player, you have the chance to get 60-80 pulls by doing dailies, exploration, and events, and sometimes even more with efficient management. Total free Tides from events will be around 25, including bonuses from extended logins.
So the phase 1 and 2 releases are flowing as follows:

New Resonators: Augusta and Iuno
There are new Septimont natives tied into the region’s lore with the new update, offering specialized roles.
Augusta (5★ Electro Broadblade Main DPS)
Augusta is a Septimont’s Ephor and arena champion, and she delivers swift Electro damage while building shields. This one will be ideal for Tower of Adversity speed clears.

- Normal Attacks (Hunter’s Path): 4-hit Electro combo; Heavy Attacks burst with stamina, including plunges and Dodge Counters. Max Prowess upgrades to Thunderoar modes (backstep, spinslash, uppercut).
- Resonance Skill (Warrior’s Blade): AoE dash slash, generates Prowess.
- Resonance Liberation: Area slash; at full Prowess, becomes blade flurry.
- Forte Circuit: Up to 100 Prowess from hits for enhanced heavies.
- Intro/Outro: Electro dash entry; Outro restores gauges and shields to the team.
- Passives: Shields on hits, team defense boosts.
- Resonance Chain: S1-S2 amp ATK/CRIT; higher for utility.
Optimal Build: Crown of Valor Echoes (6% ATK/4% CRIT DMG per shield). Synergies: Yinlin (amps), Shorekeeper (buffs), Yuanwu (sub-DPS). Signature: Thunderflare Dominion. Prioritize for Electro gaps.
Iuno (5★ Aero Gauntlets Healer/Support)
The Priestess who manipulates Lunar Cycles for control is the Iuno, and this one is also there as a new resonator. This character is capable of healing and is known for mobility. So, I’m suited for Aero teams and endurance content.

- Normal Attacks (Moon Steps): 3 Moonring hits with 2% HP regen; plunges, Dodge Counters. Moonbow amps Liberation DMG.
- Resonance Skill (Foresight Fugue): Pulse dash; variants activate cycles, reposition, or heal in New Moon.

Optimal Build: Law of Harmony Echoes (10% Healing Bonus, 5% team ATK on heal). Synergies: Jinhsi (hypercarry), Zhezhi (coordination), Verina (dual heal). Signature: Moongazer’s Sigil. Essential for Aero or sustain-focused endgame.

- The Shorekeeper (5★ Spectro Rectifier Support): 15% CRIT DMG buffs, zoning; synergizes with Jinhsi/Changli. Key for missed runs.
- Ciaccona (5★ Aero Pistol Sub-DPS): Erosion DoT; complements Iuno/Jiyan. S2 strengthens Aero DoT squads.
