Genshin Impact Snezhnaya Upcoming Characters – Everything You Need To Know

With the highly anticipated final region and nation of Teyvat known as Snezhnaya finally be making its grand debut in Genshin Impact in its upcoming version 7.0 Update Patch after almost 7 years worth of wait, as with other regions, a special trailer has been released for all players to see, featuring the designs and the potential element of these characters being revealed.

The characters players can expect to see and roll for in the upcoming region of Snezhnaya in Genshin Impact are:

Vodyanitsa

The first character revealed from the trailer for Snezhnaya is Vodyanitsa, an opera singer and one of the star performers of the Opera House in Snezhnaya. Voicelines from Linnea suggests that she might have ties to the ocean and suggests that if she were to use her real voice, she has the ability to bewitch the audiences in the Opera house, greatly hinting at her connection to mermaids.

From the trailer, players can see that she wields a Hydro Vision, making her very likely to be a character that provides Hydro effects to enable the different brand new Stellar Elemental Reactions. Little is known about when she will be released, however, it is likely that previous leaks indicate that a 5-Star Hydro Character will be released in version 7.1 Update Patch, making it likely to be her.

Alyosha

The second character revealed in the trailer is Alyosha, a mysterious boy with a coat that makes him resemble that of a wolf. His name derives from the name of one of the heroes in Russian folktales and from the trailer, it seems that he is part of a rebellion against Fatui’s plans, with his target being someone inside of the Opera House.

From snippets in the trailer, it can be seen that he is a Electro Vision user, making him an Electro character. This also aligns with previous leaks that indicates that he will make his debut in version 7.0 as a 4-Star Electro Character that supports the Stellar-Conduct Elemental Reaction.

Odette

The third revealed character in the trailer is Odette, a ballet dancer and another performer on stage. She shares the same name as the main character in the famous play Swan Lake and is heavily suggested to be a Ballet Dancer as well. She has an icy demeanor and way of speech. From voiceline leaks, it is heavily suggested that Odette is the adopted daughter of Signora, who, unlike her mother that dances with a fiery passion, dances with a more icy and controlled manner according to Sandrone.

Instead of a Vision, she seems to wield a Cryo Linchpin, which allows her to access the power of Cryo even without the help of a Cryo Vision. It is likely that she is the 5-Star Cryo Character leaked to be released in version 7.0 Patch Update, however, this is not confirmed.

Valeriy

The fourth revealed character from the trailer is Valeriy, a military man that resembles the power and stature of a bear, fitting for a character in the region based on Russia. Valeriy is mentioned by previous NPCs that he is a Major within the ranks of the Fatui and is one of the higher ranking officials directly under the Harbingers.

Little is known about his Vision and Element for now, however, previous leaked details also suggest that there will be a male 5-Star Character of the Anemo Element, so it is very likely to be Valeriy as a DPS Stellar-Swirl character.

Vesna

The fifth revealed character in the trailer is Vesna, a girl with fairy wings that seems to be the leader of a knight order under direct command of the Tsaritsa. Her design resembles that of a fae or fairy from folklore and is a Vila, one of the six common types of Snowland Fae in Snezhnaya.

From the trailer, she wields an Anemo Linchpin, allowing her the ability to access the power of Anemo even without a Vision. She seems to be a character that will enable the Stellar-Swirl elemental reaction and might be the teased 4-Star Anemo Character that will be released alongside Valeriy in version 7.1 Patch.

Danica

The 6th revealed character in the trailer is Danica, whose name makes her a personification of the morning star in Slavic Folklore. Little is known about her especially, however, considering her attire resembling a maid, it is very likely that she is a character that serves one of the more important people in Snezhnaya.

No details about her element or release date has been leaked or revealed as well.

Noy

The 7th revealed character in the trailer is Noy, a male character who bears striking resemblances to a vampire with his color scheme. However, it is more likely that he is part of another race of Fae in Snezhnaya. Aside from that, little to no information about him is known.

Mitya

The 8th revealed character in the trailer is Mitya, a scholarly boy who seems to be in deep research about a particular machine in an enclosed space. Based on his design, it seems that he might be a very important character that has ties to the stars or even the older civilizations based on the various patterns on his clothes.

Though not clear, players can make out a yellow-ish Vision or Linchpin attached to this coat, therefore, he might be a character of the Geo element. However, this is not confirmed.

The Cryo Archon – Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya

Finally, the last newly revealed character in the Snezhnaya trailer is of course, the Cryo Archon and the ruler of Snezhnaya herself, her majesty the Tsaritsa Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya. Her design closely resembles an ice queen with pale skin and snow and ice motifs. Additionally, her name most likely references the famous Russian name of Anatasia, a name commonly associated with ice and snow. Furthermore, she is seen wielding what looks like an ice spear when facing an enemy, further cementing her powerful connection to ice.

Of course, as the Cryo Archon, Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya will be a Cryo character and will most likely makes her debut in either version update 7.2 or 7.3 based on initial leaked information.
