Who is Varka?
Varka is a DPS character who wields both Anemo and elements infused from his teammates.
Tapping his Elemental Skill plunges Varka into his core “Sturm und Drang” combat mode, adapting to his opponents by unleashing slashes of different elements. While in this state, he continuously swings his greatsword to deal two types of elemental damage, and can unleash special skills and charged attacks for even greater damage. Additionally, hitting enemies with Normal Attacks reduces the cooldown of these special skills and charged attacks.
Use his Elemental Burst to deliver an overwhelmingly powerful strike! Based on his teammates’ elements, it deals both Anemo DMG and the corresponding elemental DMG.
How to use Varka Effectively?
1. Open with Teammates to Set Up
Start by using your support teammates to apply Pyro/Hydro/Electro/Cryo to enemies and provide team buffs. For maximum damage, aim for at least two characters of the same element (e.g., double Pyro) or two Anemo characters to activate Varka’s passive talent for 140%–220% damage multiplier.
2. Switch to Varka and Enter “Sturm und Drang” Mode
Switch to Varka and tap his Elemental Skill (E) to enter “Sturm und Drang” mode. This empowers his Normal Attacks with dual-elemental damage based on teammates’ elements. Begin your Normal Attack rotation—each hit will reduce the cooldown of his special Elemental Skill “Four Winds’ Ascension” (E’) .
3. Unleash Enhanced Skills for Core Damage
Weave in his special abilities for massive damage output:
Use the special Elemental Skill “Four Winds’ Ascension” (E’) to deal both Anemo and corresponding elemental DMG.
Follow up with the special Charged Attack “Azure Devour” (Z’) , which consumes no stamina and deals high elemental DMG.
At C1, you gain an extra use of E’; at C2 and C6, these abilities gain additional strikes or uses, significantly boosting your damage ceiling.
4. Rotate and Repeat
Once “Sturm und Drang” mode ends or your abilities are on cooldown, use Varka’s Elemental Burst (Q) for a powerful finishing slash (converted based on teammates’ elements). Then, swap back to your supports, reapply elements and buffs, and begin the next rotation.
