Brand New Path and Mechanics

Alongside the new major 4.0 update patch and the release of 2 brand new characters, an entirely new playable Path has been unlocked in the form of the Elation path.

The Elation Path characters and abilities revolve mainly around these important different gimmicks: The Aha Instant, Elation Skills, Certified Banger status and Punchline stacks. Additionally, with the introduction of the Elation path, a brand new stat called the Elation Damage stat is introduced into the game for players to consider when building Elation characters.

To keep it simple, the goal of the Elation path is to facilitate the special Aha Instant by supplying it with as many Punchlines stacks as possible, generated by the various Elation characters in the game. Afterward, once the Aha Instant takes action, all Elation characters’ Elation skill will activate, dealing special Elation damage to enemies proportional to the amount of Punchline stacks consumed by the Aha Instant.

The brand new Elation path mechanics requires players to slot in a maximum of 3 different Elation characters to maximize the effect of the Aha Instant, so players can expect more Elation characters to come in the upcoming version updates.

Brand New Character And Lightcone

During the Version 4.0 Update Patch, players will have the chance to meet and roll 2 entirely brand new characters: the 5-star Physical Elation character Yao Guang and the 5-star Fire Elation character Sparxie.

Yao Guang is a 5-star Physical element character of the brand new special Elation Path. Yao Guang serves as a dedicated support character for the Elation Path team, with her abilities to boost the team’s overall Elation Damage Dealt and trigger an additional Aha Instant damage even when the Aha Instant have yet to arrive, allowing the Elation team to essentially trigger their gimmick for more damage more frequently.

Sparxie is a 5-star Fire Element character of the brand new path of Elation. Her skill kit focuses on her consuming as much Skill Point as possible to massively enhance the damage output of her Enhanced Basic Attack and boost the Elation Damage output of the team to maximize the Aha Instant damage.

Both of their Lightcones will also be rated up alongside her during the Version Update Patch.

Old Character Skill Kit Buffs And Revamp

To help with the release of the brand new Elation path and to catch old characters up to newer standards, special Skill kit buffs will also be introduced to 2 old 5-star characters: the 5-star Quantum Harmony character Sparkle and the 5-star Wind Nihility Characters Black Swan.

Sparkle has received a massive overhaul to help her support ability further when used in a Skill Point centric team, allowing her to support the team much more efficiently with better buffs and a special Skill Point reservoir effect.

Black Swan’s improvement is overall quite easy to understand: with the new buffs, all of Black Swan attacks will now inflict a set amount of Arcana stacks on enemies and reduce their defenses. These overall buffs make Black Swan into a more reliable debuffer for DoT team and help improve the team’s damage uptime overall.

Version Rate Up Banners Schedule

Unlike other version update patches, the banner schedule for version 4.0 will be slightly different in terms of length and the amount of rerun banners.

The first important note is that Yao Guang will have her rate up banner beginning at the start of the update patch and her banner will last all the way until the end of the update patch, lasting for a total of 42 days alongside her Signature Lightcone.

The first phase will feature the rerun banners for 3 different 5-star characters: the 5-star Ice Remembrance character Evernight, the 5-star Physical Nihility Character Hysilens and the 5-star Wind Nihility Character Black Swan.

The 2nd phase will feature 4 different banners – 1 new character rate up banner and 3 rerun banners, featuring the brand new Fire Elation character Sparxie and the returning 5-star Wind Harmony Character Cerydra, the returning 5-star Quantum Harmony Character Sparkle and the returning 5-star Imaginary Erudition character Rappa.
