Liang Yue is a Limited 6-star Arcanist of the Star Afflatus that specializes in dealing massive amounts of Extra Attack Damage to enemies by accumulating special Talon stacks. She has a very fun gimmick to divide the incantation zone into 2 different sections and gains special talon stacks depending on the color of the zone the incantations were used from. She is one of the best main DPS characters in the game despite her very simple skill kit.

Reverse: 1999 Liang Yue

RankEffectsAnalysis
1While in the [Arise, Qiangliang!] status, after actively casting a Qiangliang enhanced incantation, gain 1 [Justice Talon] or 1 [Peace Talon]; after actively casting an incantation from the overlap section of the Spelldock, gain 0.5 [Justice Talon] and 0.5 [Peace Talon]. When reaching 6 [Justice Talon] and or [Peace Talon] combined, consume 6 of these [Justice Talon] and or [Peace Talon] to cast a [Bane of All Evil] based of Justice Talons to Peace Talons:
Cast [Bane of All Evil – Justice] when there’s more [Justice Talon].
Cast [Bane of All Evil – Peace] when there’s more [Peace Talon].
Cast [Bane of All Evil – Balance] when there’s an equal number of talons.
For every 1 [Justice Talon] or [Peace Talon] consumed, grant 1 stack of [Guardian’s Resolve] to all allies for 2 rounds.
When [Arise, Qiangliang!] ends, all [Justice Talon] and [Peace Talon] are cleared, and every stack of [Swift Resolve] on Liang Yue is converted into 3 stacks of [Guardian’s Resolve].
Liang Yue’s main gimmick that allows her to divide the incantation zone into 2 sections and depends on the incantation skills used in the different sections, Liang Yue will gain talon stacks that allow her to trigger her different Extra Attacks.
2Critical Rate +10% when the caster enters battle.Grants Liang Yue an additional critical boost.
3When entering battle, gain Moxie +3 for self.An amazing effect that allows Liang Yue to set up her Ultimate right away after only 1 turn.

Alongside her rerun, Liang Yue has additionally obtain a brand new Euphoria, helping to improve her initial skill kit and making her way stronger.

Euphoria LevelEffectsAnalysis
1When allies Follow-Up Attack, gain 1 stack of [Nuo Dance] for 2 rounds (this can trigger up to 5 times per round). [Guardian’s Resolve] increases DMG Dealt equal to the DMG Taken Reduction provided. In addition, it increases Incantation Might equal to 50% of the DMG Taken Reduction provided. The Green Zone extends the duration of Forcefield effects as well.Liang Yue now gains additional damage buff whenever allies use their extra attacks and her green zone can now extend her forcefield effect duration.
2Upon casting [Bane of All Evil – Justice], any [Peace Talon] in possession is considered a [Justice Talon]. For every [Justice Talon] consumed, +0.5%  ATK for this attack.
Upon casting [Bane of All Evil – Peace], any [Justice Talon] in possession is considered a [Peace Talon]. For every [Peace Talon] consumed, inflict 1 stack of [Plague] before attacking.
Upon casting [Bane of All Evil – Balance], for every [Talon] consumed, increase the Incantation Might of this attack by +2%.
Upon casting [Bane of All Evil], for each [Talon] consumed, each stack of [Swift Resolve] further increases Incantation Might by +5%.[Plague]: Debuff. -2% DMG Reduction (stackable).
Depends on her special extra attack, the extra attack will now automatically gain the maximum buff effect from talons regardless of the amount of talon colors and will now deal even more damage to enemies.
3[Call of Thunder: #0305] deals 600% Reality DMG. While in [Arise, Qiangliang!], casting [Banish Evil] and [Bless Life] grants 1 stack of [Nuo Dance] to Liang Yue for 2 rounds. When she is in her Ultimate form, Liang Yue’s incantations are now considered Extra Attacks and grants her additional buff stacks.
4Liang Yue no longer generates an Ultimate. Upon reaching 5 Moxie, at the start of the round, automatically cast [Call of Thunder: #0305]. While in [Arise, Qiangliang!]. casting Ultimate increases the duration of [Immunity] and [Guardian’s Resolve] on all allies by 1 round and Liang Yue gains 2 stacks of [Swift Resolve]. In addition, this attack has +100% Ultimate Might.
While in [Arise, Qiangliang!], [Banish Evil] and [Bane of All Evil] deals additional Reality DMG equal to (pre-Euphoria [Arise, Qiangliang] duration * 15)%. When there are 4 stacks of [Nuo Dance], [Banish Evil] is considered a Follow-Up Attack. When there are 8 stacks of [Nuo Dance], the extra DMG granted by it is doubled. In addition, [Banish Evil] and [Bane of All Evil] are affected by Incantation Might by an additional of 40%.
Liang Yue can now automatically activate her Ultimate, reducing her downtime to virtually 0 and freeing up an AP slot for other incantation skills in addition to dealing even more damage.

Liang Yue is a Limited Arcanist that specializes in dealing Extra Attack Damage to enemies by activating her special Qiangliang Complete State and divide the incantation skill into 2 zones and depends on the amount of incantation skill used in each zones, Liang Yue will trigger different effects.

Upon triggering her Ultimate, Liang Yue will enter her Qiangliang Complete state and turn the Incantation Skill zone into 2 – Red and Green Zone, with the overlapping zone in the middle. Using different incantations in the Green Zone will grant her Peace Talons, while using incantations in the Red Zone will grant her Justice Talons with different buff effects for the team.

Once Liang Yue have accumulated 6 different Talon stacks, she will trigger a special attack depending on the differences between the different Justice or Peace Talon stacks:

– If Peace Talon Stacks is higher than Justice Talon Stacks: Attacks all enemies, for each Peace Talon stacks depleted, inflict 1 Poison and 3 Burn Stacks on enemies. For each Poison stack on enemies, increase damage by 10%, for each Burn Stacks on enemies, Pen Rate increases by 3%. For each Talon stacks depleted, grant 1 Guardian Resolve for all allies.

– If Justice Talon Stacks is higher than Peace Talon Stacks:

Attack all enemies, convert excess crit rate into crit damage. For every Justice Talon depleted, increase Crit rate by 5%, Crit damage by 20% and Damage by 10%. For each Talon stacks depleted, grant 1 Guardian Resolve for all allies.

– If Justice Talon Stacks is equal to Peace Talon Stacks:

Attack all enemies, gaining a stack of Swift Resolve. For each Talon stacks depleted, grant 1 Guardian Resolve for all allies.

With her Euphoria Buff, Liang Yue’s Extra Attacks are now massively enhanced and gain the buff effects of both Talons. Additionally, Liang Yue will now automatically uses her Ultimate when possible, reducing her downtime and free up the AP slot for other incantation skills.

As a main DPS that specializes in dealing Follow Up Attacks to enemies, Liang Yue wants Psychubes that can boost her overall offensive stats and Follow Up Attacks Damage output.

The best Psychube for Liang Yue is her signature:

Ready On Call
EffectWhen performing an extra action, if the carrier has actively casted a 1-target attack incantation this round, gain Critical Rate +1%, stacks up to 6 times.
When performing an extra action, if the carrier has actively casted a 1-target buff incantation this round, gain Critical DMG +2%, stacks up to 6 times.
When both of these effects have reached their maximum stacks, their stat bonuses are doubled.
AnalysisLiang Yue’ signature Psychube that boost her extra action damage output massively.

For alternative Psychubes, players can consider using these options until you get her Signature Psychubes:

Outside The City
EffectAfter the carrier launches a 1-target attack through an extra action, Critical DMG +2%, up to 10 stacks. At 10 stacks, gain extra Critical Rate +8%.
AnalysisA decent substitute Psychube for Liang Yue that boost her critical stats overall.

For Liang Yue, as her main damage output is from her Incantation and Extra Attacks, as a DPS character she wants a Resonance build that can boost her Critical stats as much as possible.

Build Code:  ACUALAFAMEIxKlAoUUQzQhJIAzgFOEUrRCUE9CQ

Players should use the Genuinity piece as her main Resonance piece for extra attack stats.

Yes. You Should. While Liang Yue’s gameplay can initially be quite confusing and might take a while to get used to, once players get used to her gimmicks, she is one of the strongest possible DPS in the game at a very low cost. Currently, she holds one of the game’s records for the best damage output character out of all other DPS in the game and is generally very powerful in any content.

Additionally, Liang Yue’s status as a limited Arcanist make it so that if players do have enough pulls to get her, it is very recommended to get her as soon as possible before her banners ends since she won’t be returning to the summoning pool for a long time if players miss the opportunity.

Overall Liang Yue’s Portrait levels help massively improve her unique gimmick and her overall damage output as well as rotation, making it extremely worthwhile for players to get her Portrait levels to certain important levels to not only improve her damage output but also to make her extremely comfortable to use.

For low-spenders, getting her at 0 Portrait level is enough for general gameplay and she still does a lot of damage and can clear most of the game’s contents, however, at the 2nd level of Portrait, her damage output is day and night compared to P0, so if possible players should aim for P2 as the ideal investment points. For high-spenders, her P4 and P5 are some of the best portraits levels in the game and massively improves her gameplay, making her a one woman army, so players should get her to P5 is they are willing to invest fully

The returning Limited character that dominates the meta, Liang Yue promises to be one of the best DPS investments players could make while playing Reverse:1999 . If players want to try out this limited character, then don’t hesitate to roll on Liang Yue’s banner with the help of Enjoygm – the best Reverse: 1999 Top Up site on the web!
