Nangong Yu is an upcoming S-Rank Agent of the Ether Element and Stun Specialty. She specializes in applying special effects on enemies to trigger Disorder on enemies when allies apply Attribute Anomaly effects or Abloom effects on enemies, helping to boost the damage output of the Anomaly team. Additionally,  Nangong Yu can also forcefully apply the Stun status onto enemies, making her a very unique stun Agent that is not reliant on the enemies’ Daze gauge.

Zenless Zone Zero Nangong Yu

– Basic Attack: Unleashes up to 3 attacks forward, dealing Ether DMG.

– Charge Attack: Nangong Yu can execute up to three-stage Charge Attacks, with the second and third stages each consuming 50 [Dance Points];

When executed after [Dodge Counter], [Assist Follow-Up], [Quick Assist], or [EX Special Attack], Perfect Charge is easier to achieve;

During the first-stage Charge Attack’s charging phase, Anti-Interrupt Level increases and DMG taken is reduced by 60%;

During the second and third-stage Charge Attacks’ charging phases, character is invulnerable;

During the first-stage Charge Attack’s dash phase, Nangong Yu can Block enemy attacks—successfully Blocking an attack counts as a Perfect Charge Attack;

Character is invulnerable during the execution of all Charge Attacks.

– Special Attack: Swing the hammer to attack, dealing Ether DMG.

– EX Special Attack: Swings the hammer to attack, dealing Ether DMG;

Does not interrupt the combo count of [Basic Attack: Charged Attack];

Character is invulnerable while using this skill.

– Chain Attack: When a Chain Attack is triggered, select the character to activate:

Unleashes consecutive attacks forward, dealing massive Ether DMG.

Character is invulnerable while using this skill.

– Ultimate: Unleashes multiple attacks forward, dealing massive Ether DMG.

Upon activating this skill, Nangong Yu activates Ether Veil: Delusion Reprise. While Ether Veil: Delusion Reprise is active, all squad members gain an additional 50 ATK for 30s. Activating Ether Veil: Delusion Reprise again will deactivate the existing effect.

Character is invulnerable while using this skill.

– Core Passive: Nangong Yu’s Anomaly Proficiency increases by 100. When Nangong Yu’s Anomaly Mastery exceeds 100, every point of initial Anomaly Mastery above this threshold increases her Impact by 0.8. When an enemy is Stunned, they accumulate 1 stack(s) of [Mark] each time they enter an Anomaly state, and are hit by an [Abloom] or [Disorder] attack. The same enemy can accumulate a maximum of 5 stacks of [Mark].

When an enemy is affected by an Attribute Anomaly state, if [Mark] reaches maximum stacks or when an enemy with [Mark] recovers from being Stunned, all [Mark] stacks are removed;

When [Mark] is removed, it triggers the special [Disorder] effect [Polarity Disorder], dealing 50% of the original [Disorder] effect’s DMG to the enemy. For every stack of [Mark] on the enemy, this [Polarity Disorder] deals an additional 10% of the original [Disorder] effect’s DMG. [Polarity Disorder] does not clear the target’s Attribute Anomaly state;

During the same Stun period, if [Mark] has already been cleared, the enemy cannot be inflicted with [Mark] again;

When Nangong Yu’s [Basic Attack: Charged Attack] or [EX Special Attack] hits an enemy, her Anomaly Buildup Rate is increased by 30%, Daze Buildup Rate is increased by 15%, and DMG dealt by the whole squad is increased by 15% for 20s. Repeated triggers reset the duration.

When Nangong Yu’s [Basic Attack: Charged Attack] hits an enemy, the enemy gains the [Stun] effect. Enemies under this effect have their Stun duration increased by 2.5s when entering the Stunned state. The [Stun] effect can trigger on the same target a maximum of once before they recover from being Stunned. The Stun duration increase effect does not stack with similar effects. The [Stun] effect ends when an enemy with the effect recovers from being Stunned;

When any squad member causes an enemy to enter the Stunned state, the enemy’s Stun DMG Multiplier is increased by 15%;

While in-combat, Nangong Yu recovers 6 [Dance Points] per second. When any squad member causes an enemy to enter an Anomaly state, Nangong Yu additionally recovers 35 [Dance Points]. This effect can trigger once every 6s;

Nangong Yu can have a maximum of 100 [Dance Points]

– Additional Ability:

When another character in your squad is an Anomaly character or shares the same Faction:

When any squad member’s attack hits a Stunned enemy, Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 20%. When a Chain Attack hits a Stunned enemy, Anomaly Buildup Rate further increases by 40%. When the on-field Agent’s Chain Attack heavy attack hits an enemy afflicted with an Attribute Anomaly, it triggers a special Disorder effect called Polarity Disorder, dealing 40% of the original Disorder effect’s DMG to the target. Polarity Disorder does not remove the target’s Attribute Anomaly state. This effect can trigger a maximum of once per enemy Daze.

– C1: When [EX Special Attack] or [Basic Attack: Charged Attack] hits an enemy, reduces the enemy’s All-Attribute RES by 15% for 40s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. When entering the battlefield, Nangong Yu’s [Dance Points] are restored to maximum. In Investigation Zone mode, this effect can trigger once every 180s.

– C2: Each stack of [Mark] increases the additional DMG dealt by [Polarity Disorder] based on the original [Disorder] effect’s DMG value to 15%; the Stun DMG Multiplier provided by [Core Passive] is additionally increased by 20%.

– C4: Anomaly Proficiency increased by 40; when triggering a Perfect Charge, the Anomaly Buildup Rate of [Basic Attack: Charged Attack] is increased by 35%.

– C6: When an enemy is not Stunned, entering an Anomaly state or being hit by a heavy attack from an [EX Special Attack] will accumulate 1 stack(s) of [Mark: Revised]. Being hit by a heavy attack from an [Ultimate] will accumulate 2 stack(s) of [Mark: Revised]. [Mark: Revised] can stack up to 5 times. When the accumulated stacks of [Mark: Revised] on an enemy reach the maximum, it will trigger a [Polarity Disorder] and clear all [Mark: Revised] stacks, dealing DMG equal to 40% of the original [Disorder] effect to the target. For each stack of [Mark: Revised] on the enemy, the DMG Multiplier of this [Polarity Disorder] is additionally increased by 8%. [Polarity Disorder] will not clear the target’s Attribute Anomaly state. After triggering [Polarity Disorder] via [Mark: Revised], the same enemy cannot accumulate [Mark: Revised] again until it recovers from being Stunned. [Mark: Revised] and [Mark] cannot stack with each other.

Effect: Increases the equipper’s Anomaly Proficiency by 90 points. When the equipper deals Ether attribute DMG with [EX Special Attack] or [Basic Attack], the whole squad’s DMG dealt increases by 15% for 40s. Max 2 stacks. Can trigger once per use of a skill. Repeated triggers reset the duration. When at 2 stacks, the equipper’s Anomaly Proficiency is further increased by 60. This effect is unique to the squad.

Nagong Yu is a very unique Stun Specilaty Agent that focuses on Anomaly stats instead of the usual Impact stats due to how her unique skill kit works, capable of forcing enemies to go into short stunned states despite not having fully fill their Daze Gauge.

Nangong Yu’s specialty lies in her amazing ability to deal Attribute Anomaly and Disorder effects to enemies and trigger additional effects for herself whenever an enemy is hit with an Anomaly related effect. Upon the enemy being inflicted with either Attribute Anomaly, Abloom or Disorder, Nangong Yu can apply a Mark status on enemies. When Marked, enemies will take a massive instance of Disorder damage when they reaches the maximum Mark stacks or recover from Stun state, allowing Nangong Yu to help facilitate different Attribute Anomaly Disorder playstyle easily.

Furthermore, Nangong Yu gains special Dance Points whenever she is in the stage or when enemies are inflicted with Attribute Anomaly effects. By spending these Dance Points, Nangong Yu can use her basic charge attack to forcefully put enemies into the stun state without having to fully fill their Daze gauge in exchange for a shorter stun duration. If any characters stun the enemies during this time, the stun period will be extended and the stun damage modifier will be increased.

Nangong Yu is a very unique never before seen Stun Specialty Agent that focuses on Attribute Anomaly effects instead of the usual Impact and Daze mechanics usually reserved for Stun Agents, making her a very powerful character for Anomaly teams to have.

Her Mark mechanic helps to deal amazing Disorder damage to enemies on its own and helps to facilitate different Disorder playstyle for Anomaly Specialty characters. Furthermore, her skill kit makes her fit perfectly into her intended team of Angels of Delusions, capable of taking full advantage of Sunna and Aria’s Abloom and Anomaly playstyle perfectly.

Aside from that, the fact that Nangong Yu can forcefully inflict Stun on enemies is a very powerful effect and can help her to be slotted into some of the best team comps that want enemies to be stunned as quickly as possible. She is a very worthwhile character that players should consider pulling if they intend to play Anomaly and Stun centric teams.

One of the members of the Angels of Delusion and an Stun character that can shake up the game’s meta, if players are excited to add Nangong Yu into their roster, then don’t forget to prepare some funds by taking advantage of Enjoygm’s special discounted deals for Zenless Zone Zero Top Up today!
