Inheritance Analysis
Additionally to her skills and abilities, her inheritance level will also affect Ramona’ performance in a team:
| Rank | Effects | Analysis |
| 1 | At the start of the round, Ramona consumes all stacks of [Exorcist-For-Hire] and applies [Possessed] to the same number of allied Incantations. This prioritizes Ramona’s Incantations. Insight I At the start of the round, Ramona gains 1 stack of [Exorcist-For-Hire]. Upon entering combat or when enemies enter combat, inflict 2 stacks of [Poison] for 2 rounds on those enemies, dealing Genesis DMG equal to (ATK * 40%) at the end of each round. | This Inheritance helps set up Ramona and allows her to generate Possessed Incantation Skills, allowing her to initiate her follow up attacks and detonate Poison stacks multiple times in a turn. |
| 2 | Upon entering combat, increase ATK by +5%. | This Inheritance helps boost Ramona’s damage by boosting her attack stat. |
| 3 | Upon entering combat, gain +2 Moxie. Every round, after casting [Marigold Method] for the first time, gain +1 Moxie. For each defeated enemy in one round, at the start of the next round, inflict 1 stack of [Spirit Repellent] for 2 rounds. | This inheritance helps to shorten Ramona’s Rotation by allowing her to gain additional Moxie every turn when she uses her Follow Up Attacks. |
Ramona Playstyle And Combat Role Analysis
Ramona is a powerful debuffer and main DPS character for the Poison Archetype and team, capable of constantly inflicting massive amounts of Poison stacks to enemies while also dealing powerful damage to enemies by detonating the Poison stacks on enemies.
Ramona’s gameplay is relatively simple, with her abilities revolves around her ability to gain [Exorcist-For-Hire] stacks and triggering the [Possessed] effect. Whenever she gains [Exorcist-For-Hire] stacks, Ramona will spend them all at the start of the turn to make Incantations become Possessed. Upon using Possessed Incantations, Ramona will initiate a special follow up attack after every possessed Incantation, dealing AoE damage to all enemies, inflicting them with Poison stacks. After every of these attacks, Ramona will detonate the Poison stacks on the enemies, dealing additional damage to them based on how many stacks of Poison that are present without decreasing their duration. Additionally, once per turn, when this Follow Up Attack effect is triggered, she will be able to gain 1 additional Moxie. This means that if players use the maximum 6 Possessed Incantations for a turn Ramona can detonate Poison on enemies up to 6 times per turn, dealing massive amounts of damage.
Another way for Ramona to inflict Poison and detonating them is by using her Incantation Skills, with her AoE debug incantation capable of inflicting multiple stacks of Poison on the enemies while granting her [Exorcist-For-Hire] stacks and her ST incantation both inflicting Poison stacks and detonating them at the end for each incantation used. Upon using her Ultimate, Ramona can inflict all enemies with powerful Poison stacks and convert Poison stacks into a more powerful debuff known as [Expellant], which acts similarly to Poison but is more powerful and can deal more damage the longer it is present on enemies. Additionally, Ramona’s Ultimate also grants her 3 copies of her ST Incantation Skill, allowing her to use them to inflict additional Poison stacks and detonate Poison more times.
Best Psychubes And Resonance Build
Best Psychubes
As a Main DPS Carry Character for the Poison Team, Ramona wants Psychubes that will boost her Genesis Damage output to maximize her Poison damage output.
The best Psychube for Ramona is surprisingly not her signature Psychube, but a 5* Psychube instead:
| Falling For A Sweet Phenomenon | |
| Effect | When the carrier is a [Star] character, Critical DMG +10%. After taking an extra action, Genesis DMG Dealt +6%, stacks up to 5 times. |
| Analysis | Despite being a 5–Star Psychube, this Psychube improves Ramona Genesis Damage way more than her Signature, allowing her Poison Detonation to deal more damage. |
For alternative Psychubes, players can consider using her Signature Psychube instead, but with overall lower performance:
![]() | Drown Out The Hustle |
| Effect | If the carrier’s Afflatus is [Plant], after a Follow-Up Attack, they gain Genesis DMG +2% (stacks up to 3 times). Whenever an ally takes action, if the Incantation is changed in any way, all enemies gain [Poison] DMG Taken +1% (stacks up to 3 times) for 3 rounds. |
| Analysis | Ramona’s Psychube that boost her Genesis Damage and Poison Damage, but is generally less potent than her best in slot due to lower modifiers. |
Resonance Build
For Ramona, players should focus on using a Resonance build that boosts her Attack stat as much as possible to optimize her Poison Detonation Damage output.

Rolling Recommendation
Should You Roll For Ramona
Yes If You Intend To Build A Poison Team. No Otherwise. Ramona is a very specific Main DPS character that can only work with only 1 team and that is the Poison team, which revolves around dealing Genesis damage to enemies. Her ability to constantly inflict Poison debuffs and detonate them allows her to elevate the Poison team into one of the best teams in the game for certain contents.
However, players need to keep in mind that the Poison team is massively held back due to a lot of enemies in the game being completely immuned to Poison, making it impossible to use the team in some endgame contents in the game. Therefore, if players want to make this team for long-term endgame contents, this fact needs to be considered carefully. Additionally, Ramona requires a generally strict team comp that is generally non-negotiable, requiring players to have her best teammates to make the best Poison team in the game.
Aside from the Poison team, there’s no point in using Ramona in any other teams, therefore, if you don’t intend on making a Poison team, it is not recommended to roll for Remona.
Should You Roll For Extra Ramona Portraits
It Depends. As a Main DPS carry character for an archetype team, Ramona’s Portrait levels generally only serves as ways to improve her overall damage output and generally doesn’t affect her gameplay in significant ways. Therefore, the best investment point for low spending players when rolling for Ramona is her P1 and for high spending players, getting her to P5 will maximize her damage output. However, please keep in mind that even at P0, Ramona is already strong enough as a character.
