Nicole

Nicole is a 5-Star Pyro character that wields catalyst as her main weapon type. Nicole’s skill kit makes her a strong off-field Sub DPS and Support that is capable of both dealing Elemental damage off-field to enemies and supplying the active character on field with powerful damage and sustain buffs. 

Nicole’s main gimmick lies in her Elemental Skill, which grants allies a special Grace of Kenosis effect and a shield proportional to her attack stack. While Grace of Kenosis is in effect, the ally with this effect will have their attack stat increased based on Nicole’ attack stat and after they have stayed on field for more than 3s, this Grace of Kenosis effect will evolve into Guidance of Theosis, granting the ally an additional 300 attack stat. This effect will be reverted if the ally leaves the field.

During this mode, she will supplement the attacks of the on field allies with occasional off-field elemental attacks, with these attacks’ elements being changed depending on the active on-field character, allowing players to apply different types of Elemental Marks on enemies based on which character they have on-field while Nicole is in this state. This helps to set up various different effects and elemental reactions for different teamcomps but is relatively difficult to use if players are not used to it.

Durin is a 5-Star Character of the Pyro Element and wields a sword as his main weapon type. He specializes in dealing off-field Pyro damage to enemies and has the ability to switch between 2 different forms to focus his damage against a group of enemies or against a single enemy based on which form he is in.

Durin’s skill kit and gameplay is very damage oriented but is also very easy to use and execute effectively. During has 2 different modes: Confirmation of Purity and Denial of Darkness. Confirmation of Purity form is an AoE Oriented form that deals Pyro damage to enemies in a wide area, while Denial of Darkness form is a ST Form that specializes in dealing damage to one enemy. Durin can change between these 2 different forms by using his Elemental Skill while also recovering a decent amount of Elemental Energy for him to unleash his Elemental Burst.

Upon unleashing his Elemental Burst, Durin will unleash a blast of Pyro damage to enemies and unleash his Dragons depending on his current form, the dragon will then follows the active character on the field and periodically deal Pyro damage to enemies. If he is in the Confirmation of Purity form, he will summon a Light dragon, dealing AoE Pyro damage to enemies in an area. If he is in the Denial of Darkness form, he will summon a Dark Dragon, dealing multiple instances of ST Pyro damage to an enemy.

Pull Rating: 9/10. A Very Strong Off-Field DPS Character

Durin is an incredibly strong and easy to use Off-field DPS character that can unleash powerful Pyro damage against enemies. Thanks to his 2 different forms and his talents, he is very versatile and can be used in both boss killing and mob killing teams. Additionally, his high damage output and his access to the Hexenzirkel buffs make him a very strong character to have to fill in many different Hexenzirkel team comps.

Nicole Signature Weapon

Effect: ATK is increased by 12%. After the equipping character creates a Shield, they gain “Pathfinder’s Light” for 20s: Increases your active party member’s DMG by 10% for every 1,000 ATK the equipping character has, up to a maximum of 26%. Additionally, when the equipping character creates a Shield, they will also gain “Guide’s Contentment”: Restores 14 Elemental Energy to the equipping character. The aforementioned effect can trigger once every 14s, and can also be triggered when any type of chest is opened outside of combat. The equipping character may trigger this effect even when they are an off-field.

Hexerei: Secret Rite: When your own Hexerei character is off-field in the party, they will also gain 50% of the DMG increase from Pathfinder’s Light.
