Arknights: Endfield 1.6 Umbral Monument Murmurs of the Deep Forest – How To Clear

The version 1.6 Update Umbral Monument Challenges is divided into 4 brand new challenges, each with their own enemies and gimmicks that players will need to overcome:

Critters That Dig

This stage tests players’ abilities to dodge enemies’ attacks and counterattack when they get out of their stealth mode while dealing with a deadly mist that gradually chip down the team’s HP.

Arknights: Endfield Umbral Monument Critters That Dig

Enemies:

– Woodcraft Slug: Woodcraft Slug can burrow underground to sneak up on their enemy and attack.

Stage Gimmick:

– Careful. The Mist continuously deals gradually increasing DMG to all operators.

– Mist DMG is also greatly increased.

– The Woodcraft Slug will burrow underground and restore all its shield stacks on a regular basis. Defeating a Woodcraft Slug will temporarily reduce Mist DMG.

– After the battle begins, 1 random Woodcraft Slug will lose all its shield stacks and no longer restore them. Defeating it will cause 1 random Woodcraft Slug to lose all its shield stacks and no longer restore them.

– Tacticals and consumables cannot be used.

– Enemies have the same resistance against any element.

Clear Strategy:

– Focus On 1 Enemy At a Time: To quickly clear this stage, players will need to focus on finding the Woodcraft Slug with no shield stacks and defeat it as soon as possible in order to remove the shield stack for other Woodcraft Slug on the field.

– Bring A Healer: The Mist damage will gradually chip down your team’s HP so it is very important for players to bring a healer to keep the team alive.

– Use Any Teams. Since the enemies have the same resistances for all elements, use the team you are most comfortable with using or the best team you have built

Shadows That Bind

This stage requires players to deal good damage in order to free your other imprisoned characters before the boss gains too much HP and Attack buffs.

Arknights: Endfield Umbral Monument Shadows That Bind

Enemies:

– Blitzcrash Blightshade: Blightshade Energy activated Blitzcrash Blightshade can unleash thunderbolts.

– YSTF Elite Blightshade: Unleashes blade qi that can activate any Blightshade Energy it hits.

Stage Gimmick:

– After the battle begins, the enemy applies Imprisonment on all operators except the controlled operator.

– Operators under Imprisonment will constantly lose HP while giving Blitzcrash Blightshade HP Treatment, ATK boosts, and resistance to the operator’s element.

– Once the battle begins, the Quillbeast Blightshade will enter its Ethereal state and constantly perform ramming attacks. Meanwhile, the Rakerbeast Blightshade will regularly apply Shield on itself. The Quillbeast Blightshade’s ramming can shatter this Shield.

– When the Rakerbeast Blightshade is reduced to a lower HP, it will enter its Ethereal state while Quillbeast Blightshade’s Ethereal state will end. After that, the Rakerbeast Blightshade will regularly cast Thunder Strike on the controlled operator (up to 5 strikes in total). Thunder Strike DMG cannot be dodged. Applying Arts Burst, Breach, or Crush on the Quillbeast Blightshade will create Lighting Orbs. The controlled operator can pick up a Lighting Orb to acquire a shield that blocks the DMG of 1 Thunder Strike.

– After the Quillbeast Blightshade is reduced to low HP, its Ethereal state will end. The enemies will then attack together.

– Rakerbeast Blightshade’s Thunder Strike will strike up to 7 times instead

– Enemies have the same resistance against every element.

– Tacticals and consumables cannot be used.

Clear Strategy:

– Pick Strong DPS Controlled Operator: Players need to free the other Operators at the start of the fight in order to minimize the HP and Attack buff the boss gets, so players should use a strong DPS character with quick damage output to free the other operators as soon as possible.

– Use Any Arts Damage Teams. Since the enemies have the same resistances for all elements, use the team you are most comfortable with or the best team you have built. Prioritize bringing your best Arts damage team with multiple Arts Infliction Applicators to make this challenge easier.

Woodcrafts That Link

This challenge tests the players’ ability to quickly take down enemies before pairs of enemies meet each other and explode, dealing devastating damage to the entire team.

Arknights: Endfield Umbral Monument Woodcrafts That Link

Enemies:

– Woodscrafts Wanderer: A woodcraft wanderer with no shield stacks will trap operators to absorb their energy and generate shield stacks.

Woodcrafts Wanderer will work together when attacking.

Stage Gimmick:

– After the battle begins, the Woodcraft Wanderer will continuously move towards the other Woodcraft Wanderer, creating an energy link that deals DMG over time. While the energy link exists, defeating one Woodcraft Wanderer will also defeat the other.

– When the Woodcraft Wanderers reach the same position, they will trigger an explosion that deals DMG (based on Max HP) to all operators.

– Woodcraft Wanderers move faster. Every subsequent explosion deals higher DMG.

– Tacticals and consumables cannot be used.

– Enemies have the same resistance against any element.

Clear Strategy:

– Deal With 1 Enemy of Each Pair As Quickly As Possible: Every enemy pair will have a link between them and when players defeat 1, the other will also be defeated. So players need to defeat 1 enemy of each pair before they meet each other and explode.

– Use Any Teams. Since the enemies have the same resistances for all elements, use the team you are most comfortable with using or the best team you have built.

Hatred That Sprawls

This stage requires players to quickly reduce the boss’ shield as much as possible before dealing as much damage to them before they do their powerful nuke attack.

Arknights: Endfield Umbral Monument Hatred That Sprawls

Enemies:

– Gloomwald’s Rage: Gloomwald’s Rage will leave vines on the ground. Operators who step on them will take continuous damage and become slowed.

Gloomwald’s Rage will summon Woodcrafts Wanderer to aid in battle.

Stage Gimmick:

– After the battle begins, the operators’ Max SP is increased to 400.

– Gloomwald’s Rage will enter its charging state on a regular basis and gain a large number of shield stacks. When its charging up is complete, it will cast its ultimate that deals massive DMG to all operators. Break all shield stacks to interrupt the charging state.

– When Gloomwald’s Rage enters its charging state it also summons 4 Woodcraft Wanderers. After a Woodcraft Wanderer’s shield stacks are shattered, it will immediately disappear and restore 200 SP for the operators.

– While Gloomwald’s Rage is protected by shield stack(s), operators no longer have SP regeneration and their Final Strikes and Finishers no longer recover SP.

– While Gloomwald’s Rage is protected by shield stack(s), operators no longer have SP regeneration and their Final Strikes and Finishers no longer recover SP. Gloomwald’s Rage also gradually acquires more and more shield stacks.

– Tacticals and consumables cannot be used.

– Enemies have the same resistance against any element.

Clear Strategy:

– Take Down The Boss’ Shield As Quickly As Possible: The longer the boss shield is up, the more difficult it is for players to clear the stage as he won’t be inflicted with any debuffs or inflictions for players to combo. Use Final Strike, Battle Skill, Combo Skill and Ultimate to quickly reduce the boss’ shield stacks as quickly as possible.

– Use Any Teams. Since the enemies have the same resistances for all elements, use the team you are most comfortable with or the best team you have built.

With that, we have gone over the best strategies players can use to clear all of the challenges in the Version update 1.6 Umbral Monument in Arknights: Endfield.
