Taking the name and inspiration from the original Arknights Game, a special Contingency Contracts Gamemode has been officially announced for Arknights: Endfield, most likely serving as a kind of endgame mode content in the game. As of now, the duration and availability for the game mode has yet to be fully announced, but it is important for players to start preparing in advance if they want to be able to clear the gamemode and obtain all of its amazing rewards.

As previously mentioned, the Contingency Contracts gamemode is a gamemode that originates from the original game of Arknights and is an event that serves as the ultimate test of skills and strength for players during a set period of time. The event is released in waves and occasionally becomes available in the game, where players can challenge them during the time. For many players, this game mode is often called CC and is considered the ultimate endgame content for Arknights.

Arknights: Endfield Contingency Contracts

The main gameplay feature of the Contingency Contracts revolves around a special mechanic called Risks. When challenging a map in Contingency Contracts, players can choose to challenge the map normally and clear them easily, or they can choose to add special Risk challenges to the map in order to either make it harder by increasing the enemies’ stats, the amount of enemies and more or make it harder by handicapping yourself by limiting the amount of Operators you can bring, having lower stats, having slower DP recovery, etc.

This Risk system is a very interesting way for players to customize their own challenges before attempting to challenge a map, allowing players to deal with the stage in many different ways depending on the Risk you choose, making it a very dynamic experience for many players.

For Arknights: Endfield, it is very likely that this will manifest in the form of a battle gamemode, where players will be able to challenge a boss or a series of bosses and is able to add Risks in order to make the boss more difficult.

The Contingency Contracts gamemode is generally divided into 2 main parts: Permanent Map and Daily Rotation Maps. The Permanent map is available throughout the entire event, with an initial set of Risks for players to choose in the first week and more Risks being added gradually throughout the event to allow players to have more options. For Arknights: Endfield, it is very likely that this will be converted into a very difficult permanently available boss challenge throughout the event’s duration.

Arknights: Endfield Contingency Contracts Risks

The Daily Rotation Map usually consists of 7 different maps, with each map being available for 1 day before rotating out for the next one daily. These maps usually rotate at least twice during the event’s duration. These maps are way easier than the usual Permanent map and have a specific set of Risks associated with each map. For Arknights: Endfield, these will most likely be converted into different types of gameplay available in the game right now, with different challenges each day, ranging from boss fights, tower defense, etc.

Of course, in order to obtain all of the rewards from the gamemode, players will need to finish the map after selecting a set amount of Risk, with the Risk required usually ending up at Risk 18.  However, since players can choose the Risks themselves, the amount of combinations to reach the desired Risk amount varies for each player, making it more fun for players to mix and match the correct sets of Risks in order to make the fights most opportuned to the players’ own playstyle.

It is also important to note that the medals for Contingency Contracts changes depending on how many Risks you managed to achieve during the event, with the highest possible Trimmed Medal being available once players manage to clear Risk 18 of the Permanent Map during its first week where there are less Risks to choose from. For the Daily Maps, players will only need to get 8 Risks per map in order to get the maximum rewards from each map.

Upon clearing the designated Risk Levels for the Permanent and Daily Rotating Maps, players will be able to obtain special Event Exclusive currencies that they can then use to exchange for rewards in the shop.

For Arknights, the rewards in the shop ranged from character upgrading materials, special character skins, special cosmetics and furniture sets, and more importantly, Operator Tokens that can be used to unlock the potential of different classes of Operators.

For Arknights: Endfield, while it is not confirmed what the event rewards will be, we can most likely expect a mix of character upgrading materials, pulls, special limited cosmetics and probably character upgrading Tokens to be available to obtain through Contingency Contracts.

Now that we have gone over things players can expect from the Contingency Contracts Gamemode in Arknights: Endfield, here are some things players should prepare in order to be in the best shape before this challenging but fun event starts:

While the official ways the Contingency Contracts Gamemode works in Arknights: Endfield is not finalized, if we consider that this gamemode will be a battle gamemode where players need to challenge many different bosses and enemies fights, it is very recommended for players to prepare and build their characters in advance.

Arknights: Endfield Contingency Contracts Teams

Before the start of the event, it is highly recommended that players prepare at least 2 fully built teams in Arknights: Endfied. This is to ensure that players can have enough built characters to challenge the upcoming fights in this game mode. Additionally, if the gamemode requires at least 2 fully built teams, prepared players will have a better time to adjust their team comp to various bosses in the game in order to clear the contents as quickly as possible.

It is highly recommended that players prepare teams based on different elements as well, such as a Heat Team, a Cryo Team, an Electric Team, etc. to ensure that if they are up against certain bosses with high resistances, they can switch to different teams to handle the gamemode.

As explained, the core game mechanic for the Contingency Gamemode revolves around you putting up different types of Risks to make the challenges harder in order to get better rewards.

However, please note that you don’t have to take every Risks in order to get the full amount of rewards from the event, just a set amount of Risks. Therefore, if you want to get all of the event’s rewards, consider which type of Risks you want to take and mismatch them carefully based on your prepared teams and playstyle in order to best obtain all of the event’s rewards.

There will be players who want to challenge the stages at the maximum possible difficulty by choosing all Risks, however, if you don’t want to do this, do put Risks at your own risk and try your best!

With that, we have gone over all the things players need to know about the Contingency Contracts Gamemode before it begins and what players should do to prepare for it. If you want to get the best characters in Arknights: Endfield to prepare the best teams to challenge this event, don’t hesitate to take advantage of special discounted deals for Arknights: Endfield Top Up available at Enjoygm – the best top up site today!
