Arknights: Endfield 1.5 Re-factor Headhunting Banner – Everything You Need To Know

What Is The Re-factor Headhunting Banner

The Re-factor Headhunting banner is a brand new special type of banner introduced in Arknights: Endfield with the release of its 1.5 Update Patch. This type of banner serves as a brand new series of banners that reruns old Limited Characters that are already gone from the summoning pool, allowing players the chance to obtain these characters again. The first character to be on this brand new type of banner is the 6-Star Cryo Operator Yvonne.

Arknights: Endfield 1.5 Re-factor Headhunting Banner

Unlike the usual Character Limited Rate Up Banner, the Re-factor Headhunting banner is special in that it is a series of banners that will carry over the pity of specific banner series, allowing players to accumulate pulls until they can obtain the rate up characters on the banner.

Important Rules and Notes For The Re-factor Headhunting Banner

Here are some of the most important rules and notes that players need to know about the Re-factor Headhunting Banner for Arknights: Endfield moving forward:

Arknights: Endfield 1.5 Re-factor Headhunting Banner Rules

– The Re-factor Headhunting Banner is a special separate kind of banner than the Character Rate Up Banner, meaning their pity count will not influence each other and rolling on one banner will not accumulate pity for the other. This means that if players want to roll on the Re-factor Headhunting banner, their currencies and pity count will stay only on the specific series of Re-factor Headhunting banners.

– The Re-factor Headhunting Banner works as a series of banners, with the pity count carrying over to future banners of the series of banners of the same name and rating up the same character. For example, if players roll on The Re-factor Headhunting banner for Yvonne, their pull count towards Yvonne on this banner will be recorded and carry over to future Re-factor Headhunting featuring Yvonne only, and doesn’t affect the pity count for other Re-factor Banner series of other returning characters. This make it so that if players really wants a character, they can accumulate pulls on the different Re-factor Headhunting banners of the same series for that specific character and will eventually be able to get that character guaranteed.

– Different Re-factor Headhunting Banner Series will not carry over each other’s pity counts. For example, the re-factor headhunting series of banners featuring Yvonne will not carry over the pity when the next re-factor headhunting series features a different returning character like Tangtang or Rossi. The pity count only carries over if the Re-factor Headhunting banners share the same series name aka share the same returning rate up character.

– For every 30 pulls made on the Re-factor Headhunting banner, players will be able to obtain a free 10-pull that will not count towards the pity count for that banner. This effect can be triggered 3 times per banner series.

– After rolling on the re-factor Banner 120 times, players will be guaranteed the 6-Star Operator On rate up for that particular series of Re-factor Headhunting Banner and this effect can only be triggered once throughout the entirety of each series of Re-factor Headhunting Banners.

– Afterward, every 240 pulls on the re-factor Headhunting banner will rewards players with a Token of the rate up character, and this works similarly to the guaranteed pity at 120 pulls.

Arknights: Endfield 1.5 Re-factor Headhunting Banner – Should You Roll

Now that we have gone over the important notes players should pay attention to for the Re-factor Headhunting Banner, let us go over whether players should roll on the first ever series of Re-factor Headhunting banners, featuring the 6-Star Operator Yvonne.

Yvonne

Yvonne is a 6-star Operator of the Cryo element and the Caster class. She wields handguns as her main weapon and focuses on inflicting Cryo Infliction and the Solidification statuses on enemies to deal big Cryo damage to them. Yvonne is a character whose focus is on dealing as much enhanced critical attacks on enemies as possible to optimize her damage output, making her suitable as a Cryo team’s main DPS option.

Arknights: Endfield 1.5 Yvonne

Yvonne is a main DPS Cryo character that focuses on dealing massive amounts of Cryo damage to enemies. Her main gimmick is quite simple: she wants to deal as much critical attack damage to enemies as possible while she is on the field by consuming Cryo or Natural Inflictions on enemies and inflicting them with Solidification, rendering enemies unable to move or act while Yvonne bombard them with attacks.

Yvonne’s playstyle and rotation is relatively similar to that of Laevatain, requiring the team to set up for her before she enters the field to deal with enemies. To start her damage rotation, start with using characters that can quickly inflict either Cryo Infliction or Nature Infliction on enemies or even better if they can inflict Solidification on enemies. When enemies are afflicted with Solidification, Yvonne will deploy her off field robot, dealing Cryo damage and continuously pulling enemies together, then inflict Solidification on them.

Upon inflicting Solidification on the enemies with her robot, switches Yvonne on field and uses her Battle Skill. This will consume enemies’ Nature and Cryo Inflictions to deal massive amounts of Cryo damage and allow Yvonne to inflict Solidification as well as gain Ultimate Energy. Once her Ultimate energy is full, unleash her Ultimate to strengthen her Basic Attack for a period of time, dealing massive amounts of critical Cryo damage to enemies. Once her Ultimate time ends, finishes off with her powerful finishing move, then switches out to start the combo all over again.

Should You Roll For Yvonne

Not Really, No. Not only is the Yvonne Rerun Banner considered a separate rate up banner than the usual rate up banner where the pity carries over, her rerun banner also have different kinds of rules and functions, making it hard to justify rolling on. Not to mention, Yvonne’s playstyle is relatively difficult to make full use of in the game right now, making her a very rarely used Main DPS character when compared to other element’s main DPS characters.

Unless players really like Yvonne’s gameplay or her character, it is not recommended for them to roll on this special rerun banner for Yvonne with all of the considerations regarding rerun banner’s rules and Yvonne’s own viability in-game.

Conclusion

With that, we have gone over the brand new Re-factor Headhunting Banner for Arknights: Endfield Version 1.5 Update Patch.
