Arknights Endfield Trial of the Bow is the Version 1.5 mode that puts you behind Typhoeus’s compound greatbow, slams five Arrow Chips into your loadout, and asks you to shatter moving targets before the timer dies. So, here is an Arknights Endfield Trial of the Bow guide. We’ll show you how to unlock Trial of the Bow, how every chip actually behaves, how Basic Training and Advanced Training differ, how Daily Exercise stars work, and which Trial of the Bow rewards you should finish before October 14.

If you are already hunting Typhoeus on Winter Hunt and need extra Origeometry or Oroberyl to keep the banner and the range upgrades moving, Enjoygm is the cleanest place to top up Arknights: Endfield. Packs land in the account without the usual store markup, which matters when the Archery Range itself eats hundreds of thousands of Wuling Stock Bills on the way to Level 4.
What is Arknights Endfield Trial of the Bow?
Trial of the Bow is Typhoeus’s archery challenge inside Typhoeus’s Archery Range in the Snowy Forest and it is also called as a challenge event. There you will combine Arrow Chips, shatter training targets, and complete archery drills, and you always play as Typhoeus. There is no team swap, no AIC, no operator rotation. It is a third-person shooting gallery built around chip combos.

Two clocks run at once here:
- The limited Trial Missions window runs from September 9, 2026 (server time) to October 14, 2026 (UTC+8). Those missions are where the bulk of the Oroberyl sits.
- The range itself is permanent. After the event ends you can still run simulations and claim first-clear rewards. You just lose the extra Trial Mission track.
That split is why you should treat the next month as a farm window, not as a mode you can “come back to later” for the same payout.
How to Unlock Trial of the Bow
The lock of the Arknights Endfield Trial of the Bow is story-gated. And here is how to unlock it:
- Finish A Winter Dream Fogged Deep in the Woods, Typhoeus’s Operator Mission in Version 1.5 Dreamscape of Wind and Snow. That is the fog-and-dreamscape quest that takes you through the Snowy Forest with Typhoeus and Andre.
- After that mission closes, Cliffbottom Archery Range appears in the quest log on its own. Follow it.

- The first facility unlock costs 0 Wuling Stock Bills. Later levels do not.
If Cliffbottom Archery Range is missing, you have not finished the Operator Mission. There is no Authority Level gate published on top of that story requirement.
How Typhoeus’s Archery Range Works
Every run here is a timed shatter test. Targets spawn as singles, lines, packs, or shielded “Barrier” dummies. You aim, lock, and fire using the chip currently slotted. Basic Training locks the chips so you learn one tool at a time. Advanced Training and Daily Exercise let you pick the pair.
Three systems matter more than raw aim:
- Lock-on count and lock speed. Persistent Echo can tag a whole cluster. Beastly Rage and Rime Tip lock faster on a single mark.
- Damage per shot. Most chips deal 1. Beastly Rage deals 2 and ramps on repeat hits. Rime Tip deals 0 and freezes.
- Detonation rules. Flaming Resin does not kill on contact. It stacks Resin (max 3 per target). You detonate those stacks with another damaging chip.
Miss the detonation window and a “perfect” chip pair looks useless. That is the whole mode.
All Trial of the Bow Arrow Chips
These five Arknights Endfield Trial of the Bow arro chips are the entire kit. Chip formulas unlock as you upgrade the range.

| Arrow Chip | Lock-On | Damage | What It Actually Does |
| Persistent Echo | Up to 7 targets | 1 | Multi-lock hail. Best chip for thin, clustered dummies. |
| Beastly Rage | Faster, single | 2, ramps on repeats | Shield-breaker. Use on Barrier Targets and fat hornbeasts. |
| Rime Tip | Faster, single | 0 | Solidifies a target for 5 seconds. Zero damage. Pure crowd control. |
| Flaming Resin | Standard | 0 on apply, 1 per Resin stack on detonate | Applies Resin, max 3 stacks per target. Detonate with a damage chip. Cannot apply Resin to Barrier Targets until the shield is gone. |
| Dawnbreaker | Line pierce | 1 to every target in the line | The alignment chip. Wait for a column, then fire through the whole row. |
Best Arrow Chips Trial of the Bow Pairings
There is no single “best” pair. The best arrow chips Trial of the Bow loadout is the one that matches the spawn pattern.
- Thin swarms: Persistent Echo + Rime Tip. Freeze the pack, then multi-lock the freeze.
- Shielded or high-HP singles: Beastly Rage + Rime Tip. Break the barrier, then pin the runner.
- Tight clumps that sit still: Flaming Resin + Beastly Rage. Stack Resin on the center dummy, detonate through the cluster.
- Lines that reform into blobs: Flaming Resin + Dawnbreaker. Pierce the line, then detonate the pile.
- Mission checks: Slot the chip named in the Trial Mission. Hail of Arrows needs Persistent Echo. Impossible Angles needs Beastly Rage. Thoroughly Glaciated needs Rime Tip. Infernal Resin and Let the Range Burn need Flaming Resin. One-Shot Power needs Dawnbreaker.
If a Daily Exercise modifier bans a chip, swap immediately. The star rating cares about clears and time, not about your favorite pairing.
Upgrade Typhoeus’s Archery Range First
You cannot reach Advanced Training or Daily Exercise 04 on a Level 1 range. Stock Bills are the tax.
| Upgrade | Wuling Stock Bill Cost | What You Unlock |
| 0 → 1 | 0 | Basic Training: Persistent Echo, Basic Training: Beastly Rage, Daily Exercise 01, Persistent Echo formula, Beastly Rage formula |
| 1 → 2 | 50,000 | Basic Training: Rime Tip, Basic Training: Flaming Resin, Daily Exercise 02, Rime Tip formula, Flaming Resin formula |
| 2 → 3 | 120,000 | Basic Training: Dawnbreaker, Daily Exercise 03, Dawnbreaker formula |
| 3 → 4 | 300,000 | Advanced Training, Daily Exercise 04 |

Total from Level 1 to max: 470,000 Wuling Stock Bills. Level 4 is mandatory if you want Elite Archer, Zenith of Archery, Apex Snow Hunter, and the Fully Furnished mission. Do not sit on Level 2 hoping Daily Exercise 01 will carry the star track. It will not.
That bill is also why the range and the banner collide. Players who are already sinking Stock Bills into AIC while trying to finish Typhoeus often run short on premium currency for Winter Hunt. If the range upgrade is blocking Daily Exercise 04 and you still want pulls, topping up through Enjoygm is the shortest way to keep Origeometry flowing without pausing the Stock Bill grind.
Once the huntress is online, farm her actual upgrade mats with our Typhoeus materials guide so the operator you just practiced in the range is built for real combat, not just the shooting gallery.
Trial of the Bow Basic Training
Basic Training is the tutorial track with fixed chips. Clear every stage. Amateur Archer requires the full set, and the Archer’s Epiphany medal wants all Basic Training stages plus one Daily Exercise 04 clear.
The training goes as:
| Persistent Echo | Shatter 23 targets in 2 minutes with Persistent Echo only. Wait until the full wave is on screen, then release. Firing early wastes the 7-target lock |
| Beastly Rage | Shatter 6 targets in 2 minutes with Persistent Echo and Beastly Rage. Use Echo on unshielded dummies. Swap to Rage the instant a Barrier Target appears. Rage’s 2 damage and ramp exist for those shields |
| Rime Tip | Shatter 25 targets in 2 minutes with Persistent Echo and Rime Tip. Freeze movers first. Echo the frozen cluster. Rime Tip does not kill anything by itself |
| Flaming Resin | Destroy 43 targets in 4 minutes with Beastly Rage and Flaming Resin. Stack Resin on the center dummy, detonate with Rage. Strip Barrier Targets with Rage before you try to apply Resin. Resin will not stick to a live shield |
| Dawnbreaker | Shatter 25 targets in 2 minutes with Persistent Echo and Dawnbreaker. Hold the shot until targets line up. One pierce should delete the column. Echo cleans leftovers |

Trial of the Bow Advanced Training
Advanced Training unlocks at range Level 4. You choose the chips. These four stages are where chip theory stops being optional.
So the advanced training will be going as:
| Herd of Hornbeasts | 24 targets / 2 minutes. Recommended: Beastly Rage + Rime Tip. The herd is tanky and mobile. Rage for HP, Rime Tip to stop the charge |
| Flock of Howlbeasts | 63 targets / 2 minutes. Recommended: Persistent Echo + Rime Tip. Fast packs. Freeze, then hail |
| School of Fins | 52 targets / 3 minutes. Recommended: Beastly Rage + Flaming Resin. Large bodies travel close together. Stack Resin on the fat target, detonate through the school. Time the boom or you waste the 3-minute clock |
| Hive of Bees | 73 targets / 2 minutes. Recommended: Flaming Resin + Dawnbreaker. Bees form lines, then collapse into groups. Pierce the line. When they clump, stack Resin and detonate with Dawnbreaker. This is the stage that teaches the Resin-plus-pierce loop used in Daily Exercise 04 |

Remember that elite Archer pops when all four Advanced stages are done.
Trial of the Bow Daily Exercise
Daily Exercise is the repeatable star farm. Stages unlock with range level (01 at Level 1, 02 at Level 2, 03 at Level 3, 04 at Level 4). They reset every day. Unlike Basic Training, you can change Set Chips to match that day’s spawn rules.
Stars are the limited-time currency that matters:
- Clear each Daily Exercise once for the named Archer missions (Novice through Zenith).
- Bank 12 / 24 / 36 / 48 stars across Daily Exercise stages for Range Expert, Sharp Shooter, Archery Maestro, and Apex Snow Hunter.

Four Daily Exercise slots at 3 stars each is 12 stars per perfect day. Apex Snow Hunter at 48 stars is four perfect days if you already have Daily Exercise 04 unlocked. That is the argument for rushing the 300,000-bill Level 4 upgrade on day one of the event instead of spreading it across two weeks.
Trim on Archer’s Epiphany also wants Daily Exercise 04 at 3star plus every Advanced Training clear. Do not treat 04 as optional flavor content.

| Apex Snow Hunter: Earn 48star from Daily Exercise stages | Mark of Perseverance ×1, Advanced Progression Selection Crate I ×3, T-Creds ×15,000 |

Window: September 9, 2026 (server time) through October 14, 2026 (UTC+8). After that date, Trial Missions close. First-clear simulation rewards on the permanent range still exist.
Priority Order If You are Short on Time
- Upgrade the range to Level 4 (Fully Furnished + Advanced Training + Daily Exercise 04).
- Clear every Basic and Advanced stage once (Amateur + Elite).
- Force the six chip-specific missions on whatever stage makes the number easy. Persistent Echo’s 7-target lock is free on swarm waves. Dawnbreaker’s 5-pierce is free on Hive of Bees lines.
- Play Daily Exercise every reset until 48star.
- Park the 999-target grind last. It happens naturally if you are starring Daily Exercise.
Conclusion
So, we’ll conclude Arknights Endfield Trial of the Bow guide from here with that. The challenge event ends. Typhoeus’s Archery Range does not. Keep running Basic Training, Advanced Training, and Daily Exercise for first-clear leftovers and for the medal trim. You will not get another pass at the Trial Mission Oroberyl or the Crate I track, so treat mid-October as a hard stop on that list.
