Who is Zenless Zone Zero Dialyn?

Dialyn is an S-Rank Physical Stun agent from the Krampus Compliance Authority, arriving in Version 2.4 around November 26, 2025. She works mainly off-field, making her a versatile enabler. You can use her to quickly build Daze while granting your team buffs like longer stun durations, extra damage, and the ability to convert ally Chain Attacks into Ultimates.

Her kit revolves around the Rally system, which starts at 60/120, cycles through EX Special Attacks in the order Rock → Scissors → Paper, and includes a powerful charged EX called Martial Salute that scales with your ally stats.

Dialyn Skills Breakdown

Dialyn excels at fast field swaps and accumulating Rally points through EX Specials and Ultimates. Her EX Special: Paper adds +3 seconds to stun duration and increases Stun DMG by 35% (applies once per stun, non-stackable).

Dialyn Skills Breakdown

And this is how her skills will be carried:

Basic Attack

Basic attack can perform up to 4 frontal slashes dealing Physical DMG. When enhanced by Rock or Scissors EX Specials, she adds 2 extra hits for more damage.

Dodge/Dash Attack

This is a standard evade with a follow-up slash. Perfect Dodge Counter or Assist Follow-Up can chain into her strong 4th Basic hit.

Special Attack

Special attack brings a dual-ring slice that deals Physical DMG and has elevated Anti-Interrupt properties.

EX Special Attacks

The EX special attacks for Zenless Zone Zero Dialyn can cycle for every 6 seconds and there are three that you need to focus on here as

·        Rock: Punching thrust, Physical DMG (invuln).

·        Scissors: Slicing attack, Physical DMG (invuln).

·        Paper (Boo): Debuff thrust, Physical DMG + Suppression (invuln).

Martial Salute

This charged Basic triggers after gaining 1 stack from a 120 Rally Chain. It deals massive Physical DMG, always crits for +50% when paired with an Attack or Rupture ally, and can Quick Assist a teammate with Inspire, granting +50% DMG for 30 seconds. You also gain temporary invulnerability during this move.

Chain Attack: Rapid Kicks

This one is a multi-kick burst that deals Physical DMG while keeping you invulnerable.

Ultimate: Noggin Knocker

Dialyn’s ultimate is a flicking dash that deals huge Physical DMG with invulnerability.

Core Passive: Five-Star Service Hotline

Dialyn starts combat with 60 Positive Reviews. If her initial CRIT Rate is above 50%, her Impact increases by 1.4 for every extra 1% CRIT Rate. This caps at +100 Impact at 100% CRIT Rate.

That is the most important build rule for Dialyn:

  • 50% CRIT Rate is the start of the conversion.
  • 100% CRIT Rate is the target for maximum Impact.

She also gains Positive Reviews over time and when EX Special Attack: Rock, Scissors, or Paper! hits. At 90+ Positive Reviews, she can upgrade an ally’s next Chain Attack into an Ultimate, or force a Chain Attack window.

EX Special Attack: Paper! applies Malicious Complaint. If that enemy becomes Stunned, Stun duration is extended by 2s and Stun DMG Multiplier increases by 15%. This can trigger only once per stun on the same target.

Skill Upgrade Priority

To maximize Dialyn’s performance, focus on her skills in this order:

  1. Core Passive
  2. Special Attack / EX Special
  3. Chain Attack
  4. Ultimate
  5. Assist
  6. Basic Attack / Dodge last
Skill Upgrade Priority

This setup ensures Dialyn delivers strong Physical DMG, buffs allies efficiently, and maximizes her Rally and Martial Salute mechanics.

Best W-Engine for Dialyn

A great Zenless Zone Zero Dialyn build comes with the best W-Engines. Yesterday Calls is Dialyn’s best W-Engine. It gives 24% CRIT Rate, off-field Energy Regen, extra Daze from Physical EX Specials, and a team CRIT DMG buff at full stacks. The CRIT Rate makes it much easier to reach the 100% Core Passive threshold.

Yesterday Calls (Signature)

And these are our recommended w-engines for her:

W-EngineBase ATK / SubstatKey EffectRating
Yesterday Calls (Signature)713 / +24% CRIT RateOff-field +1.5 ER/s. EX Physical: +9-16% Daze/stack (x3, 6-10s). Max stacks: Team +30% CRIT DMG (40s).★★★★★

Dialyn M1 vs Signature W-Engine

Pull Signature first if you have to choose. Yesterday Calls (Signature) brings:

  • 24% CRIT Rate
  • 1.5 Energy Regen per second while off-field
  • Extra Daze from EX Specials
  • Team CRIT DMG buff

This is the bigger upgrade for Dialyn herself. It helps her hit the CRIT Rate threshold, use more EX Specials, stun faster, and generate Positive Reviews more consistently.

M1 — Boundless Hospitality

Positive Reviews gained each second and from Rock / Scissors / Paper! hits increase by 16% While Overwhelmingly Positive is active, allies ignore 15% of enemy All-Attribute RES

M1 is strong, but it is a support upgrade. It makes Ultimate conversions more consistent and adds team RES shred. It does not replace the Signature’s CRIT Rate, Energy Regen, and Daze.

Recommended order for you to follow is:

  • M0 with no Signature
  • → M0 + Signature
  • → M1 + Signature
  • → M2
  • → M6 if you are investing heavily

Dialyn Mindscape Cinema Priority

  • M1 Boundless Hospitality: Faster Positive Reviews generation. Team ignores 15% All-Attribute RES while Overwhelmingly Positive is active. This is her first real Mindscape spike.
  • M2 24/7 Hotline: Malicious Complaint targets take extra Stun DMG Multiplier, and the team deals 15% more DMG to those targets.
  • M6 Truth: When an ally enters with a converted Ultimate, they gain Aftertone. Dialyn then deals extra Physical DMG equal to 480% of her ATK, treated as EX Special Attack DMG, once per second, up to 12 times.
  • M4: 20 Energy on combat entry and +500 ATK while Overwhelmingly Positive is active.
  • M3 / M5: Skill level increases.
  • Dialyn is already complete at M0. If you pull extra copies, stop at M1 unless you want to push her further.

Best Drive Discs & Stat Priorities

So, what drive discs and stats you must prioritize for a best Zenless Zone Zero Dialyn build? First, let’s pay attention to the ideal drive discs.

Best Drive Discs & Stat Priorities
  • 4-piece: King of the Summit
  • 2-piece: Woodpecker Electro if you are under 100% CRIT Rate
  • 2-piece: Swing Jazz if you are already at or near 100% CRIT Rate
  • King of the Summit is the best Stun set. Dialyn can keep it up easily because she uses EX Specials often and already builds CRIT Rate for her Core Passive.

And then, for Dialyn’s main, substat and target stats, we can recommend you these

Main StatsSub Stat PriorityBuild PathTarget Stats
Disc 4: CRIT Rate% CRIT Rate until 100% > CRIT DMG = ATK% > PEN > Flat ATK 1. Get Disc 4 CRIT Rate.2. Stack CRIT Rate substats until you are as close to 100% as possible.3. After that, take CRIT DMG and ATK%.4. Keep Energy Regen on Disc 6. CRIT Rate: as close to 100% as possible
Disc 5: ATK% first, then Physical DMG% or PEN Ratio% That 100% CRIT Rate is what maxes her Core Passive Impact conversion
Disc 6: Energy Regen

Do not put Impact% on Disc 6 as the default. Dialyn already converts CRIT Rate into a large amount of flat Impact. Energy Regen gives her more EX Specials, more Daze, and more Positive Reviews.

Best Teams & Rotations for Dialyn

Dialyn is a Stun support, not a main DPS. She is best with Attack and Rupture DPS that want extra Ultimates, longer stuns, and more damage during stun.

And these are the ideal teams that we recommend you to go with her:

TeamMembers
Best DPS partners Ye Shunguang, Yixuan, Yidhari, Manato, Banyue, Hugo, Evelyn
Other Strong Partners Zhu Yuan, Harumasa, Ellen, Anton, Corin, Billy Kid, Nekomata

Dialyn extends stun duration, increases Stun DMG Multiplier, and can convert a Chain Attack into an Ultimate. That is strongest on DPS whose biggest damage sits in Ultimates and stun windows.

Current best style teams for Dialyn are:

  • Ye Shunguang / Dialyn / support
  • Yixuan / Dialyn / Lucia
  • Banyue / Dialyn / Lucia
  • Evelyn / Dialyn / Astra Yao
  • Hugo / Dialyn / stun or support flex
  • F2P: Soldier 11 / Dialyn / Lucy
Best Teams & Rotations for Dialyn

Dialyn should stay off-field as much as possible, cycle Rock → Scissors → Paper!, then swap in to convert the ally Chain into an Ultimate during stun.

Dialyn Combat Rotation

To get the most out of Dialyn, focus on building Rally points off-field and timing her bursts carefully:

Dialyn Combat Rotation
  1. Stay off-field and cycle EX Specials: Rock → Scissors → Paper!
  2. Apply Malicious Complaint with Paper! before the stun.
  3. Build Positive Reviews to 90+.
  4. Swap in on stun, use the Chain / Quick Assist window, and convert the DPS Chain Attack into an Ultimate.
  5. Let the DPS take the extended stun window. Do not hold the field on Dialyn unless you need Energy or Daze.

Following this rotation keeps Dialyn’s Rally charged, buffs your team, and ensures her high-damage abilities land effectively.

Dialyn vs Banyue: Who Should You Pull?

When it comes to the gameplay, most players are questioning themselves on if Dialyn or the Banyue they need to focus more. So, let’s have a comparison to get the right answers.

Dialyn vs Banyue

Dialyn is a Physical Stun agent who works as a universal enabler. She upgrades ally Chains into Ultimates, boosts damage by 50%, and extends stun durations. If you don’t have strong stunners yet or want to run hypercarry teams with Yixuan, Banyue, or Evelyn, Dialyn is a great pick. She is F2P-friendly and fits into most rosters easily.

Banyue, on the other hand, is a Fire Rupture melee DPS who excels at AoE and single-target damage. She’s perfect if you need a main carry, and she pairs very well with Dialyn for extra Ultimate procs.

As a general rule, pull Dialyn first for versatility. Choose Banyue if your DPS slots are already filled or if you want strong Krampus mono-synergy teams. Both characters are viable at M0S1. To secure them quickly, Enjoygm offers reliable top-ups so you can pull what you want in a guaranteed rate with enough monochromes.
