Should you Still Pull Here?

This is a debut window, not a rerun window. Pull Vesna if you already have Odette and want a Stellar-Swirl on-field carry. Pull Vodyanitsa if you need a Hydro healer who also shreds Hydro and Cryo RES and can sit in either a Vesna team or a Skirk Freeze team. Faruzan on rate-up is the reason this phase sells a team, not a single character. 

Skip both if you are saving specifically for the Skirk and Escoffier reruns on October 13. For kits, weapons, and teams, use the Vesna build guide and the Vodyanitsa build guide. Prefarm from the Vodyanitsa materials guide if you are building her on day one. 

Next Banners — Version 7.1 Phase 2 (Official from Special Program)

These Genshin Impact next banners were confirmed in the Version 7.1 Special Program. Phase 2 is a double Cryo rerun: Skirk plus Escoffier. It opens when Phase 1 ends on October 13, 2026.

Please note that HoYoverse has not published the Phase 2 Event Wish notice yet. Skirk wants Escoffier or a Freeze core already in the account. Escoffier is the higher-priority single pull for any Cryo–Hydro roster that missed her. 

Unconfirmed — Version 7.2 and Later (Leaks Only)

HoYoverse has not published Event Wish notices for these versions. Community schedules currently point to:

• Version 7.2, often listed around early November 2026: new 5-star Mitya (Electro) and 4-star Valeriy. Version 7.3, often listed around early December 2026: Tsaritsa (Cryo) and Danica (Electro).
• Check official channels before you lock gems. Names, elements, dates, and rerun partners can all change.

Banner History — 2026 So Far

• 6.2 Phase 1, December 3 to December 23, 2025: Durin new, Venti rerun.
• 6.2 Phase 2, December 23, 2025 to January 13, 2026: Varesa and Xilonen reruns.
• 6.5: Linnea new, then Chasca, Nefer, and Lauma. This was the old current block on this page.
• 6.6: Nicole and Lohen new, Durin and Mavuika reruns. This was the old next block on this page.
• 6.7 Phase 1, July 1 to July 21, 2026: Sandrone new, Citlali rerun. 4-stars: Beidou, Diona, Freminet.
• 6.7 Phase 2, July 21 to August 11, 2026: Columbina and Raiden Shogun reruns.
• 7.0 Phase 1, August 12 to September 1, 2026: Odette new, Arlecchino rerun.
• 7.0 Phase 2, September 1 to September 22, 2026: Flins and Ineffa. (Already closed).
• 7.1 Phase 1, September 23 to October 13, 2026: Vesna and Vodyanitsa. Live now.

2026 Banners Pulling Advice

For Version 7.1 Phase 1, which is live now:

• Vesna: highest priority if you are committing to Stellar-Swirl and already own Odette. Lower priority as a standalone pull with no Cryo enabler.
• Vodyanitsa: highest priority as the support that holds the Vesna team together, and still useful in Skirk Freeze. If gems are tight and you only want one 7.1 debut, take Vodyanitsa first for flexibility. Take Vesna first only if Odette and Faruzan are already built. Featured 4-stars: Faruzan is the real catch for Vesna accounts. Diona and Chongyun are filler unless you still need a cheap Cryo battery or blender. Weapon banner: skip unless you specifically want Beyond the Chrysalis or Hymn of the Maelstrom. Do not burn the anniversary stash on Epitomized Path if Phase 2 is your actual target.

For Version 7.1 Phase 2:

• Escoffier: highest priority for any Freeze account that missed her. Skirk: high priority if you want that carry and already have Escoffier or Furina. If you spend Phase 1 to zero, you will not have a Phase 2 plan. Decide the hard-pity split before you pull today.

Anniversary note: Version 7.1 also carries the 6th anniversary window around September 28. Claim the mail and login Fates first, then spend. Details are in the Genshin 6th anniversary rewards guide. 

Conclusion

The live question is no longer Flins or Ineffa. It is whether you build the new Stellar-Swirl pair of Vesna and Vodyanitsa during Phase 1, or hold for the Skirk and Escoffier reruns on October 13. Phase 1 is Vesna plus Vodyanitsa. Phase 2 is Skirk plus Escoffier, not Alice. Plan the version, then the phase, then the constellation. A 7.1 Phase 1 debut plus the 6th anniversary login window on September 28 is a better gem checkpoint than dumping everything into one signature weapon on day one.
