Snezhnaya’s ice does not forgive sloppy fights, and neither do the three new Local Legends waiting under its tundra. If you opened Version 7.0 hunting the First Snow avatar frame and the full 180 Primogems from Valiant Chronicles Series 2, you already know the real problem: Churin keeps carving, Bandersnatch keeps shrinking, and Furiosa keeps vanishing into roots while your timer and World Level quietly decide whether the third medal counts. This Genshin Impact 7.0 Valiant Chronicles guide: Churin, Bandersnatch & Furiosa Achievements walks every location, unlock, mechanic, team, and bounty so you can finish all nine challenges instead of resetting at server change.

And always remember burning resin on Stellar Glimmer teams. For that, it is worth topping up Genshin Impact through Enjoygm if you still need Odette, Alyosha, Arlecchino, or Durin for these DPS checks. Delivery is UID-only and usually lands in minutes, which matters when a World Level 9 third objective is the only thing standing between you and the last stamp.
What Valiant Chronicles Series 2 Actually Is
Genshin Impact Valiant Chronicles is the permanent Local Legend bounty book you open at Katheryne. Genshin 7.0 Valiant chronicles adds Series II on top of the older Nod-Krai set: three Snezhnaya local legends: Churin, Bandersnatch, and Furiosa, each with three bounty objectives. Complete the required number of challenges across the book to claim the First Snow avatar frame, then later frames as you keep collecting stamps.
A few rules decide whether your kill even registers:
- Talk to Katheryne and open the Snezhnaya tab before you hunt. Kills made before the book is unlocked do not count.
- Challenge credit needs World Level 8+. The third objective on each legend needs World Level 9.
- Each legend can be fought once per day and respawns at server reset (04:00 server time).
- Multiple medals can drop in a single fight if you hit the conditions. Bandersnatch is the exception, because “kill it small” and “interrupt it while giant” pull in opposite directions.
Regions and Unlocking Methods
| Local Legend | Region | Unlock | Daily limit |
| Churin | Fellfrost Peak / south of Jack Frost Village, Svetloledovka | Discover him (Archon progress: Gunfire in the Silent Lands) | 1 fight / day |
| Bandersnatch | Cavern of Prime Ice Mountain under Svetloledovka | Complete Great Deeds on the Tundra | 1 fight / day |
| Furiosa | Below the railway to Snezhnograd, Everfrozen Earth | Discover her (Archon progress: Gunfire in the Silent Lands) | 1 fight / day |
How to Unlock Genshin Impact Valiant Chronicles in 7.0
To unlock Genshin Impact Valiant Chronicles, you have to reach Adventure Rank 55, then speak to any Katheryne and choose the Valiant Chronicles option. Version 7.0 adds a dedicated Snezhnaya page the moment the patch is live. You do not need to 100% the map first, but you do need the early Chapter VII Archon beats so the arenas are not still gated.
- Churin and Furiosa: finish Gunfire in the Silent Lands.
- Bandersnatch: finish Great Deeds on the Tundra and free the trapped survivors. The Prime Ice cavern stays sealed until that quest is done.
Co-op works, but the host’s World Level is what the game checks. If your friend is still on WL 7, none of the medals will stick.
All 9 Bounties and Rewards at a Glance
Every objective pays in here 20 Primogems. Across three legends that is 180 Primogems, plus Mora, talent books, and Snezhnaya upgrade stones. Claim everything from the handbook at the Adventurers’ Guild, not from the corpse.
So, here is an overview for rewards with their required goals:
| Legend | Objective | Extra rewards |
| Churin | Defeat Local Legend: Churin | 3 Ethereal Crystalscale Stone |
| Churin | Defeat him before he finishes the Big-Mouthed Jack Frost | 25,000 Mora |
| Churin | Defeat him before he finishes carving ice sculptures three times (WL 9) | 3 Guide to Fortitude |
| Bandersnatch | Defeat Local Legend: Bandersnatch | 3 Prime Chimeric Nexus |
| Bandersnatch | Interrupt the super energy blast while he is giant | 25,000 Mora |
| Bandersnatch | Defeat him while he is miniature (WL 9) | 3 Guide to Charity |
| Furiosa | Defeat Local Legend: Furiosa | 3 Accreted Growth |
| Furiosa | Destroy Hindering Roots to stop Arrow Shower | 25,000 Mora |
| Furiosa | Destroy Hindering Roots while she is burrowing (WL 9) | 3 Guide to Glory |
Plan on at least two calendar days for Bandersnatch if you want every medal on a modest account. The other two legends can be fully cleared in one clean run once your Stellar Glimmer uptime is stable.
Churin Local Legend Guide (Jack Frost Village)
Churin is a Domovoy sculptor who trained under Bragin and learned to finish ice faster than he learned to make it beautiful. In combat that speed is the entire fight: he keeps carving structures, and those statues become his kit.
Location
Teleport to the Fellfrost Peak waypoint, east of Svetloledovka and just south of Jack Frost Village. Before the Local Legend flag appears, you first have to deal with his circle: interact with Bragin and defeat the companion wildlife (the “bear and elephant” pair players keep mentioning in clears). After they drop, Churin steps in as the actual Valiant Chronicles target.

Churin Achievements
- Defeat Local Legend, Churin.
- Defeat Churin before he can finish carving the Big-Mouthed Jack Frost.
- Defeat Churin before he finishes carving ice sculptures three times.

The third medal is a DPS-and-interrupt check, not a “break every statue after it exists” check. If you see the third cube start forming, that run is already dead for medal three.
How the Fight Works
Churin’s attacks lean on the sculptures he plants. Left alone, he will complete a Big-Mouthed Jack Frost and keep cycling new ice. Stellar Reactions like Stellar-Conduct or Stellar-Swirl deal Stellar-Glimmer DMG that interrupts the carve. Cryo Traveler is the budget enabler; Odette plus an Electro off-fielder is the clean version. Jean-style charged knock-ups also buy time by pinning him to the floor while your burst window lands.
Do this in order:
- Open with a Stellar Glimmer setup so the first carve never finishes.
- Dump the strongest rotation you have the moment he is staggered. Food ATK / CRIT buffs are worth it here.
- Ignore leftover statues if he is already in execute range. The medal cares about how many times he finishes a carve, not how many props remain.

Recommended cores: Odette + Yae Miko / Alyosha + a shielder (Nicole, Diona, Qiqi), or a raw hypercarry with Jean if your Stellar roster is thin. If the third medal still slips, you need more on-field damage, not a longer fight.
Bandersnatch Local Legend Guide (Prime Ice Cavern)
Bandersnatch is a leftover bio-alchemy experiment that slips through rock and ice, then balloons when Electro feeds it. That size change is both the win condition and the trap.
Location and Unlock
From Svetloledovka’s town waypoint, drop into the ditch and take the cavern entrance on the right into the Cavern of Prime Ice Mountain. The door stays locked until Great Deeds on the Tundra is complete. After the Archon beat, the waypoint inside the tunnel often unlocks for you.

Bandersnatch Achievements
- Defeat Local Legend, Bandersnatch.
- Interrupt the super energy blast he unleashes in his giant state.
- Defeat Bandersnatch when he is in a miniature state.

Medal two wants Electro. Medal three wants you to refuse Electro. Treat them as two separate days unless your damage is high enough to execute the small form before curiosity wins.
How the Fight Works
He starts small, fast, and annoying to hit. Electro application accelerates growth into the giant form: easier to target, slower swings, and much more damage taken. In that giant state he charges a wide super energy blast behind a large Electro orb. Relentless damage during the charge cancels the blast, knocks him out of control, and often snaps him back toward the miniature size.
Two planned runs:
- Giant medals: bring Cyno, Flins, Yae Miko, Varesa, or Alyosha. Grow him immediately, bait the blast, and never stop hitting the orb/body until the interrupt flags. Then finish the kill if medal one is still open.
- Miniature medal: leave Electro in the teapot. Cryo / physical / swirl pressure only. Burst him before he naturally inflates. This is the WL 9 check.

Recommended giant teams: Cyno or Flins + Odette + Yae Miko / Sucrose + Ineffa or Columbina. Recommended small-form teams: your highest raw single-target carry with no accidental Electro app.
Furiosa Local Legend Guide (Snezhnograd Railway)
Furiosa is a Volkodlak archer rewritten by alchemy and half-claimed by trees. She almost became something closer to eternity and stopped at the last second, which is why the arena keeps growing Hindering Roots out of her body.
To find where Furiosa is, drop below the railway that leads to Snezhnograd in Everfrozen Earth. She stands in the icy arena directly in front of the Scars of Cursed Obsession weapon-ascension domain. No extra cavern quest, just spot her, start the fight.
Furiosa Achievements
- Defeat Local Legend, Furiosa.
- Destroy the Hindering Roots to interrupt her before Arrow Shower.
- Destroy the Hindering Roots to interrupt her while she is burrowing.

All three can land in one attempt if you respect the root windows instead of greedily padding her HP bar.
How the Fight Works
Furiosa is a ranged problem. Stay close. When she plants and summons two roots at her sides, Arrow Shower is incoming so break both roots to cancel the rain and stun her for a long punish. After a heavy damage spike she burrows and grows a single root at the destination. Break that root to rip her out of the ground for another punish.
AoE or multi-hit melee helps more than a single-target sniper, because two roots can spawn on opposite sides of her. Sandrone / Arlecchino / Varka cores all work if they can delete vines without leaving the arena.

This is the natural place to lean on a built Pyro carry. If Arlecchino is already on your roster, her Bond of Life kit deletes roots and the boss in the same window. Use this character to lock weapons and artifacts before you spend a WL 9 attempt. Durin as a sub-DPS in the same slot follows the same logic if that is the unit you actually own.
Recommended Teams: Sandrone + Odette + Yae Miko + Diona/Qiqi, or Arlecchino + Durin + Bennett/Nicole. Keep a shielder. Root-breaking while you are staggered is how medal two disappears.
Best Teams for Genshin 7.0 Local Legends
Snezhnaya’s new reaction layer is Stellar Glimmer (Stellar-Conduct and Stellar-Swirl) in this Genshin Impact 7.0 Valiant Chronicles. Churin wants it as an interrupt. Bandersnatch wants Electro for the giant route. Furiosa just wants fast root breaks. Build one “Snezhnaya day” team and swap the fourth slot.
| Role | Stellar / Churin | Bandersnatch (giant) | Furiosa |
| On-field | Sandrone, Cyno, Wriothesley, Cryo Traveler | Cyno, Flins, Varesa | Arlecchino, Sandrone, Varka |
| Off-field Electro | Yae Miko, Alyosha, Fischl | Yae Miko, Alyosha, Ineffa | Yae Miko |
| Cryo enabler | Odette, Cryo Traveler, Qiqi | Odette | Odette |
| Flex / sustain | Nicole, Diona, Sucrose, Jean | Columbina, Sucrose | Bennett, Nicole, Durin |
F2P-leaning clear: Cryo Traveler + Fischl + Sucrose + a shielder, with ATK food. It will take more days on Bandersnatch’s miniature medal, but Churin and Furiosa are realistic.
If the DPS check is what is failing, that is the second moment Enjoygm becomes relevant in this guide: the miniature Bandersnatch kill and Churin’s three-carve limit are account-power walls, not puzzle walls. A discounted Genesis Crystal pack for the current Odette / Arlecchino banners is often cheaper than another week of hoping WL 9 numbers suddenly appear.

If you need extra Primogems for those banners after the 180 from Valiant Chronicles, you can just rab current livestream and event codes and redeem them before they expire.
First Snow Avatar Frame and Stamp Math
Series II stamps feed the Snezhnaya frame track. The patch notes and handbook both point at First Snow once you clear the required Series 2 challenge count (seven stamps on the current track). Later frames like Crystalline Frost, Snowbound, Everwinter ask for more stamps as future Snezhnaya legends are added. You do not need Nod-Krai Series I finished first, but those stamps live in a separate track.
Check the handbook after every successful medal. The game is better at recording the kill than it is at reminding you to claim.
Conclusion
So, that is all. Clear the three Genshin 7.0 local legends, claim the handbook rewards, and the Genshin Impact valiant chronicles tab finally stops looking unfinished. The tundra still has more legends coming in later 7.x patches. Now, go and finish this set while the arenas are still the only ones on the Snezhnaya page.
