General Information
Prune is an upcoming 4-Star Character of the Anemo Element. She wields a catalyst as her main weapon type and serves as mainly an off-field Swirl enabler with her decently easy to use skill kit.

Prune Skill Kit
– Basic Attack: Performs up to 3 attacks by swinging the Banehunter Oathhammer, dealing Anemo DMG.
– Charge Attack: Consumes a certain amount of Stamina and performs an upward hammer swing, dealing Anemo DMG to opponents in front.
– Plunging Attack: Calling upon the power of Anemo, she plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Anemo DMG upon impact with the ground.
– Elemental Skill: Unleash the wind’s might to defeat the evil witch and save Descartes! Prune strikes the Witchlure Bell with her Banehunter Oathhammer, dealing Anemo DMG.
If Prune triggers Swirl on an opponent using this attack, Ring-A-Ding-Ding! Hexhunter Chime will be changed to Clang Clang! Witch-tribution Comes! for the next 6s.
Clang Clang! Witch-tribution Comes!
Prune’s hammer is now enshrouded by the element involved in the previous Swirl reaction, causing Banehunter Oathhammer to undergo Elemental Conversion. When activated with a Press, Prune will leap up and kick the Banehunter Oathhammer forward, dealing Elemental DMG of the corresponding type to opponents in front of her.
– Ultimate: Prune gently swings the Witchlure Bell, dealing Anemo DMG to nearby opponents. After this, the Bell will enter the Hunter-Seeker mode.
Witchlure Bell: Hunter-Seeker
In this mode, the Witchlure Bell will follow the current active character, attacking surrounding opponents at intervals and dealing AoE Anemo DMG. This DMG is considered Elemental Burst DMG.
– Passive Talent 1: During the Elemental Burst The Bell Tolls! The Hunt is On!, after the Witchlure Bell in Hunter-Seeker mode deals DMG to an opponent, if this DMG triggers Swirl on an opponent, it will also summon a Banehunter Oathhammer that will deal 150% of Prune’s ATK as DMG to them, with the DMG Type matching the Elemental Conversion from the Swirl. This DMG is considered Elemental Burst DMG.
– Passive Talent 2: After Prune hits an opponent with the Banehunter Oathhammer that has undergone Elemental Conversion, other nearby party members will gain the Tolling Rally effect for 5s: When Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks, or Elemental Skills and Bursts deal DMG to opponents, that attack’s DMG will be increased based on the portion of Prune’s ATK in excess of 2,000 when they become affected by the Tolling Rally effect. Every excess ATK point increases that instance of DMG by 0.025%, up to a total of 50% max.
– Passive Talent 3: Has a 10% chance to get 1 regional Character Talent Material (base material excluded) when crafting. The rarity is the same as the resulting material.
– Passive Talent 4: After completing Witch’s Homework: Of What Is Contested, Prune becomes a Hexerei character. When the party includes at least 2 Hexerei characters, you gain the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect, which enhances Hexerei characters.
Hexerei: Secret Rite
After a Hexerei character in the party affected by the Tolling Rally effect triggers an Elemental Reaction on an opponent, Prune’s ATK is increased by 60% for 5s. If the Elemental Reaction triggered is a Swirl Reaction, the triggering character’s ATK will additionally be increased by 30% for 5s.
Prune Constellation
– C1: After the Banehunter Oathhammer that has undergone Elemental Conversion hits an opponent, Prune will regain 2 Energy. This effect can occur once every 1.8s.
– C2: During the Elemental Burst The Bell Tolls! The Hunt is On!, when the Witchlure Bell is in Hunter-Seeker mode, Prune gains the Hunt the Witch effect: Prune’s ATK increases by 10%, and when the Witchlure Bell and the Banehunter Oathhammer that has undergone Elemental Conversion hits an opponent, it further increases her ATK by 5%. Prune’s ATK can be increased by up to 40% in this way.
– C4: After the Banehunter Oathhammer that has undergone Elemental Conversion hits an opponent, it will ricochet and land on a nearby opponent, dealing 80% ATK as DMG of the corresponding Elemental Type.
– C6: The duration of the Witchlure Bell’s Hunter-Seeker mode from the Elemental Burst The Bell Tolls! The Hunt is On! is extended by 4s.
Additionally, after party members affected by Tolling Rally trigger any Elemental Reaction, they will cause Prune and the other current active character(s) affected by Tolling Rally to gain 350 ATK for 5s.
Overall Gameplay Assessment
Prune’s elemental skill allows her to deal Anemo damage to enemies and if the Skill triggered a Swirl Elemental Reaction, her next Elemental Skill will be enhanced, being infused with the element that triggered Swirl previously and deal enhanced Anemo and Swirl damage to enemies when used. Her Elemental Burst allows her to deal Anemo damage to enemies, then enter a special mode. During this special mode, Prune will constantly deal Anemo damage to enemies by surrounding the active character on field, allowing her to deal off-field damage and triggering Swirl Elemental Reactions alongside the active character’s attacks. Additionally, her talent also allows her to boost the overall damage dealt by the active character’s normal attacks, charge attacks, elemental skill and elemental burst.
Initial Impression And Pull Advice
Prune is a 4-Star character that mainly serves as an off-field Support and enabler character that is capable of initiating different Swirl Elemental reactions while she is off the field, allowing her to buff the on field character and help improve their overall damage dealt with different types of Artifacts effects.
As a 4-Star Character, Prune is relatively easy to build and get, so players should try to get her to her 6th Constellation for her to perform her best as both a support and an enabler character.
