Honkai Star Rail 2nd Fate Collaboration Banners – Everything You Need To Know
Collaboration Banner Rules
With the release of the 2 brand new Fate Collaboration Charaters in Honkai Star rail version 4.4 Update Patch – Rin and Gilgamesh, 4 brand new Collaboration Banners have been added to the Fate Collaboration Banner tab, alongside the Character Rate Up Banners and Lightcone Rate Up Banners for the 2 old Collaboration Characters Saber and Archer.

Collaboration Banners are a special kind of banner that last for a long period of time in Honkai Star Rail. Currently, there are no end date announced for these banners specifically, meaning players can take their time to roll on these Collaboration Characters as they are available for a long period of time. The end date of the Collaboration Banners will be announced ahead of time in the future once the game has decided on the time.
Like the usual Character and Lightcone Rate Up Banners, players are guaranteed to obtain a 5-Star Character or Lightcone upon rolling on the banner a total of 80 and 70 times on each banner respectively. Upon obtaining a 5-Star Character or Lightcone, players will have a 50/50 and 75/25 Chance of them being the rated up character or Lightcone. If the character or Lightcone players obtained were not the rate up character or lightcone on the banner, then the next 5-Star Character or Lightcone they obtain on the banners will be guaranteed to be the ones rated up.
Players should note that the Collaboration Character and Lightcone banners’ pity only carry over between Collaboration Character and Lightcone banners and does not affect the normal Limited Character or Lightcone Rate Up Banner. Additionally, once the Collaboration Banner ends, any pity will not carry over to other banners in the future. This means that if players were to roll on these Collaboration Banners, make sure that you don’t waste any extra rolls as they won’t be carried over to any other banners in the future.
Free Lightcone Campaign
During the 4.4 Update Patch for Honkai Star Rail, players will be able to obtain either the 5-Star Quantum Hunt Character Archer or the 5-Star Lightning Destruction Character Gilgamesh for free from logging into the game.

Additionally, players will be able to choose to obtain the signature 5-Star Lightcone for either Archer or Gilgamesh after achieving a total of 200 pulls on any banners during the 4.4 Patch Duration, counting all Character and Lightcone Rate Up Banners. Therefore, players should take this chance to roll to obtain one of these Lightcones for free without having to spend any pulls.

Honkai Star Rail 2nd Fate Collaboration Banners – Which Character To Focus On
Now that we have gone over the rules for the collaboration banners, let us go through which of the Collaboration Characters players should focus on rolling for the 2nd part of the Fate Collaboration Limited time event for Honkai Star Rail:
Saber
Saber is a 5-Star Limited Collaboration Character of the Wind Element and Destruction Path. She specializes in dealing powerful damage to all enemies by constantly deals Ultimate Damage after attacking enemies, with her abilities allowing her to fill her Ultimate Gauge extremely easily.

Saber’s gimmick is quite simple in nature: She hits hard and she hits all enemies a lot of times to generate as much Ultimate energy as possible to deal Ultimate damage to enemies. Upon attacking enemies, Saber Talent will allow her to conserve a portion of her charge that once she takes a turn, can be spent to recover a large amount of Ultimate energy for herself. Upon using her Ultimate, she will be able to deal a massive instance of Wind damage to all enemies and enhance her next skill use. Upon using her enhanced skill, Saber will gain additional charge and ultimate energy, allowing her to quickly use her Ultimate again.
Pull Rating: 7/10. A Simple DPS Character
Saber’s skill kit is extremely simple in nature and easy to use, making her a very friendly DPS character to use. However, this fact is both her strength and her weakness, as she doesn’t deal nearly enough damage to be counted as a good DPS character nor can she carry in endgame contents unless heavily invested. Therefore, players should only roll for her if they are willing to invest in her fully or if they really like the character for collection purposes.
Archer
Archer is a 5-Star Character of the Quantum Element and Hunt Path. He specializes in dealing powerful Skill Damage multiple times a turn against enemies by using as many Skill Points as possible within a turn.

Archer’s gameplay revolves mainly around his ability to consume large amounts of Skill Points in order to use his Skill multiple times within the same turn, dealing powerful damage to enemies the more Skill Points he consumes. Upon using his Skill, Archer will deal single target damage to an enemy and by consuming 2 more skill points with each use, Archer is able to continuously use his skill to deal even more damage to the enemy the more skill point he consumes. Upon using his ultimate, Archer can deal AoE damage to enemies and charges his talent, which allows him to use his follow up attacks whenever an ally attacks the enemies and recover Skill Points for the team.
Pull Rating: 9/10. One Of The Most Effective And Easy DPS Characters To Use.
Archer is a very easy to use character whose main drawback is that he requires a lot of Skill Point to maximize his damage output, a drawback that can be remedied by a lot of his teammates. Archer’s damage output is extremely high once he is properly supported, making him one of the best boss-killing DPS characters in the game.
Players can obtain Archer for free from the 4.4 Collaboration Log In Campaign, however, getting extra copies of Archer from the banner is also recommended as his Eidolons are extremely good.
Rin Tohsaka
Rin Tohsaka is a 5-star character of the Quantum Element and Erudition Path and is one of the 2 brand new Fate Collaboration Limited Characters. She is a character capable of spamming her Skill to deal damage to multiple enemies at once and support the Archer team by providing him with powerful buffs and extra Skill Points

Rin Tohsaka skill kit revolves around support allies that consumes a lot of Skill Point by providing them with additional Skill Points and buffs based on the amount of Skill Points they consumed, additionally, Rin Tohsaka herself can constantly uses her enhanced Skill to deal damage to enemies and consume Skill Point.
Rin Tohsaka’s main damage output and gimmick revolves around her special “Gem Energy”, which can be gained whenever allies recover or consume Skill Points. When Rin have sufficient “Gem Energy”, she will be able to use her Enhanced Skill and constantly trigger it to deal damage to enemies by consuming “Gem Energy”, up to a total of 33 times. If during this process, Rin runs out of Gem Energy, she can instead consume Skill Point in order to generate more Gem Energy.
Upon using her Ultimate, Rin Tohsaka can deal damage to all enemies and recover Skill Points for allies and makes all enemies take more damage from attacks. Crucially, Rin Tohsaka has access to a brand new Joint Attack talent when she is in the same team as Archer. Upon Archer and Rin being in the same team, Archer will gain additional attack and be able to ignore a portion of the enemies defenses. Additionally, upon Archer using his Skill, Rin will initiate a Joint Attack with Archer, dealing damage to enemies and recovering additional skill points for the entire team, allowing Archer to use his Skill even more times.
Pull Rating: 9/10. One Of The Best Main/Sub DPS Characters With Good Support Potential.
Similar to what Archer do, Rin Tohsaka is basically the AoE version of Archer, with her being able consume large amounts of Skill Points in order to deal damage to all enemies while also recovering Skill Point for the team and buff the team’s damage output. Rin Tohsaka pairs extremely well with Archer, making for one of the best teams in the game, so if players want to play with Archer properly, getting Rin is highly recommended.
Gilgamesh
Gilgamesh is 5-star character of the Lightning Element and Destruction path and is one of the 2 brand new Limited Collaboration Characters for the Fate and Honkai Star Rail Collaboration Event. He is a character that specializes in dealing constant Lightning Damage to enemies by spamming his Skill and Ultimate upon accumulating enough interest in the enemies.

Gilgamesh’s skill kit revolves mainly around his ability to constantly generate large amounts of energy through the use of his Skill, allowing him to deal constant damage to all enemies with both his Skill and Ultimate.
Upon entering the battlefield, whenever Gilgamesh takes action, he will automatically use his Basic Attack and accumulate Interest. Once he gains enough interest, Gilgamesh will be able to unlock his Skill and will only use skill while he is in his interest mode, with the more Interest stacks increasing his overall Speed stat. Every time Gilgamesh uses his Skill, he will generate a large amount of Energy and be able to use his Ultimate quickly to deal damage to all enemies. Whenever allies in the team use Ultimate, Gilgamesh will gain additional Interest stacks and an amount of energy proportional to the maximum Energy of the Ultimate used by the ally , allowing him to unlock his Skill and Ultimate much quicker.
When Saber is in the same team as Gilgamesh, they will be able to perform a joint attack, allowing them to deal both Wind and Lightning damage to enemies, advancing Saber’ action and recover Energy for Saber and allowing Gilgamesh to gain additional points of Interests.. Additionally, when Gilgamesh is on the field, he is able to increase the damage output and critical damage of all allies based on their maximum energy cost.
Pull Rating: 6/10 Without Saber. 8/10 With Saber. A Decently Strong But Flawed DPS Character.
Gilgamesh’ abilities and skill kit makes him a relatively strong DPS character capable of dealing constant damage to enemies whenever he gets enough Interest points, especially when paired with Saber. However, when used alone or even when alongside Saber, Gilgamesh suffers the same problems as Saber with him not doing enough as a DPS character that can make him a good character for the endgame unless players invest heavily in him.
Since players can obtain him for free during the 4.4 Update Patch, if players want him for collection purposes, it is not recommended to roll extra copies of him.
