The Anomaly Arbitration is a gamemode that requires players to challenge a total of 3 different mini bosses and 1 final boss in order to obtain special exclusive currencies that allow them to exchange for special cosmetics, including special skins for the Trailblazer and special exclusive pets that follows you around in the overworld.

Honkai Star Rail 4.1 Anomaly Arbitration

Each rotation of the Anomaly Arbitration gamemode begins and resets every update patch, with different bosses being rotated and different gameplay mechanics and buffs being changed depending on the characters and teams being promoted during the patch. This makes it so that certain teams and mechanics are preferred during each cycle of the gamemode, making it more dynamic and requiring players to build better characters and teams each time.

The main goal of the Anomaly Arbitration gamemode is to clear the enemies and bosses in a set amount of turns and not allow any characters to fall in battle in order to obtain the maximum star rating. By defeating the 3 mini boss challenges, the final boss will be weakened, allowing players to challenge the final boss much easier and complete the turn order requirement for the maximum star rating much easier.

Now that we have gone of the general information about the Anomaly Arbitration gamemode, here are the important information and details regarding the different challenge stages players need to challenge during the Anomaly Arbitration 4.1 Update Patch Rotation:

The Anomaly Arbitration 4.1 Cycle involves 3 different Knights and the King in Check:

– Knight 1:

Honkai Star Rail 4.1 Anomaly Arbitration Knight 1

Wave 1 Enemies: Aggressive Reading Material, Autonomous Wand, Rocking Rebel, Daybreak Squadron: Azurewing

Weaknesses: Physical, Fire, Imaginary.

Gimmicks:

Confinement: Ally Targets initially obtain 2 stacks of this effect, with each stacks decreasing their own damage by 10%. This effect cannot be dispelled, and 1 stack is removed after each Ultimate used.

Evaluation: The Daybreak Squadron: Azurewing enemy boss in this challenge cannot be weakness broken when attacked and will gain immense benefits when attacked by Quantum attacks, therefore, players should not use Break-centric teams or Teams with Quantum Main DPS for this challenge. With how all of the enemies take more damage and are inflicted with powerful debuffed when attacked by Elation Damage, it is highly recommended for players to use Elation Teams for this challenge.

– Knight 2:

Honkai Star Rail 4.1 Anomaly Arbitration Knight 2

Wave 1 Enemies: Dark Sun Gryphon, Black Tide’s Champion

Wave 2 Enemies: Pollux, Nethering Husk, Ferry of the Souls

Weaknesses: Quantum, Ice.

Gimmicks:

Depowered: When entering combat, reduces ally target’s Energy by 50% and decreases their Energy Generation Rate by 50% outside of their turn for 2 turns.

Taunting+: Enemy target takes immediate action after being attacked 5 times. This tally resets at the start of the enemy target’s turn.

Evaluation: Pollux is a relatively easy to challenge boss, with its main gimmick being Max HP manipulation, requiring players to play around its HP drain gimmick and heal up the team in time before it attacks. Coupled with the 2 gimmicks effects, players should use Remembrance Centric Teams for this challenge node, preferably with Evernight or Castorice as the main DPS. Aside from the Remembrance Centric teams, players can also use any HP-based teams to challenge this node as well to take advantage of Pollux HP drain gimmick.

– Knight 3:

Honkai Star Rail 4.1 Anomaly Arbitration Knight 3

Wave 1 Enemies: Furiae Warrior, Black Tide’s Corroded Axe, Furiae Archer, Mirage Fizzle Kid

Wave 2 Enemies: First Genius, Entelechy, Zandar (Lygus)

Weaknesses: Physical, Lightning

Gimmicks:

Interference: After the enemy target uses an attack, randomly causes a 5 to 10% action delay to the attacked target.

Evaluation: The Zandar or Lygus boss fight revolves mainly around surviving his powerful attacks while dealing powerful Ultimate damage to him, with him occasionally granting certain characters in the team instant Ultimate at the cost of reducing their HP bar. Therefore, players should use any Ultimate-based Damage teams or Hypercarry damage teams when challenging this boss. Taking down the boss as soon as possible while taking advantage of his free Ultimates should be players’ main gameplan

– King in Check:

Honkai Star Rail 4.1 Anomaly Arbitration King In Check

Wave 1 Enemies: Lady of Crashing Waves, SD Civilian Mechatron

Wave 2 Enemies: Alloy Mechatron: King Pom-pom

Weaknesses: Fire, Lightning.

Gimmicks:

Sunder+: When ally targets are being attacked by enemies, the “Sunder+” effect will be inflicted on them. Each stack additionally causes the holder to lose HP equal to a percentage of their max HP. This effect can be stacked indefinitely and can not be dissipated. After targets with “Sunder+” receive a shield from an ally target other than themselves or healing, all “Sunder+” effects are dispelled from both targets. (Removed after defeating Knight 1)

Interference+: After the enemy target uses an attack, randomly causes a 5 to 20% action delay to the attacked target. (Removed after defeating Knight 2)

Confinement++: Ally Targets initially obtain 2 stacks of this effect, with each stack decreasing their own damage by 30%. This effect cannot be dispelled, and 1 stack is removed after each Ultimate used. (Removed after defeating Knight 3)

Evaluation: The King Pom-pom boss fight heavily relies on mechanics related to Elation Damage, especially Punchlines, with the players needing to gain as much Punchline stacks as possible to fuel the “Venue Protocol Enforcer” in order to reduce King Pom-pom’s “Lasting Antibac” stacks in. Once all stacks have been removed, King Pom-pom will enter a vulnerable state that makes it take way more damage. Therefore, players should use Elation Teams to challenge this boss for optimal results. However, players can also brute force this boss with high damage teams as well.

The following are the best teams selection players should use to clear each of the different challenges for Honkai Star Rail 4.1 Anomaly Arbitration.
