Huohuo

Huohuo is a 5-star Character of the Wind Element and Abundance Path. She is an amazing support and sustain character capable of both sustain the team with powerful healing abilities while also providing the entire team with powerful offensive buffs and energy to help improve the team’s overall damage output and rotation.

Huohuo’s sustain comes mainly from her special passive healing effect, which can be granted to the entire team through her Skill and Ultimate with her new Novaflare buff. Huohuo’s passive heal is activated whenever an ally takes their turn or uses their Ultimate, providing a heal to the ally and the ally with the lowest HP and help cleanse 1 debuff from them. This passive heal is also triggered when allies drop down to a certain Hp percentage, making it an amazing emergency and consistent sustain tool for the entire team. 

Additionally, Huohuo can provide the team with powerful support effects, with her Ultimate granting the entire team 20% of their Ultimate energy and a hefty Attack increase, allowing the team to do more damage overall and cycle their kit much faster, especially for Ultimate damage based teams.

With her brand new Novaflare buff fixing her sustain problems, Huohuo simply becomes an amazing character capable of both sustaining the entire team against enemies’ deadly attacks and providing amazing benefits for any team that relies on Energy, making her a very valuable character to have overall.

With how versatile she is and her ability to both sustain and support many different teams, her rating is higher than other characters in the shop, so if players don’t have her, getting her with the Golden Companion Spirit is very highly recommended.

Other Shop Characters

Aside from Robin and Huohuo, since players are given a Golden Companion Spirit, you can use it to pick other characters already in the Exchange shop as well if you want to. Overall, the ratings for the other characters in the shop is as followed:

– Ruan Mei: 8/10. A Good Support Character

Despite many different brand new support characters and the release of The Dahlia, Ruan Mei still remains an amazing support character capable of massively improving the damage output of many different teams, especially Break-centric teams.

– Topaz: 6/10. A Slightly Outdated Follow Up Attack Support.

Topaz is designed as a very good Follow Up Attack support character with her skill kit to increase the team’s Follow Up Attack Damage against enemies. However, her skill kit is generally very outdated with low numbers, making her fall short in many different teams. With the resurgence of the Follow Up Attack team in the future, if she gets a good buff, she can possibly make a comeback. However, for now, it is not recommended to get her.

– Luocha: 6/10. A Stable But Too Simple Sustain

Luocha is the game’s first ever sustain character that specializes in providing a lot of healing for the team. However, that is all that he does. While he does have utility in his ability to deal damage and remove buffs from enemies, Luocha’s skill kit is too simple to make him effective in this game meta. Therefore, even though he is still a stable sustain character, it is not recommended to get him.

– Bronya, Welt: 7/10. Good Standard Budget Options.

With his new Novaflare buff, Welt now solidifies his position as a good debuffer character, specializing in reducing enemies defenses and slowing down enemies. Meanwhile, Bronya is a decently strong Support character that specializes in buffing the team and action advancing an ally. These two characters are essentially good picks if players are missing characters that fill these roles. However, since they are Standard characters, their pick ratings will be lowered since players can get them very easily.

– Yanqing, Clara, Gepard, Bailu: 3/10. Do Not Pick
