Himeko Nova is an upcoming 5-star character of the Fire Element and Erudition Path. She specializes in dealing special Assist Skill damage to all enemies when in the same team as other Trailblazing Companions, allowing her to quickly accumulate energy and activate her powerful Ultimate.

Himeko Nova skill kit around her special Assist Skill and the ability to trigger Assist Skill when there are other Trailblazing Companions in the same team as her.

Himeko Nova’s main gimmick lies in her Skill and Talent, which allows Himeko Nova to grant all allies and herself special Assist Skills usage, which are treated as Skill uses. Upon using Assist Skills, Himeko Nova will deal AoE Fire damage to enemies and grants herself special buffs depending on the Trailblazing Companion that used the Assist Skill. When it is her turn, Himeko Nova can use her Skill to regain all Assist Skill usage to the team while also buffing the team’s overall damage output. Using Assist Skills will help Himeko Nova recover special Energy that is needed for her to use her Ultimate.

Upon accumulating enough energy, Himeko Nova will be able to summon a mech with her Ultimate and enter a special Zone. During this Ultimate Use, Himeko Nova will be able to choose between different attacks in order to gain or spend Source Energy to deal damage to enemies. Once she have used up all of her energy, Himeko Nova will deal a big instance of Fire damage to enemies and exit her Ultimate State.

Rin Tohsaka is an upcoming 5-star character of the Quantum Element and Erudition Path and is one of the 2 brand new Fate Collaboration Limited Characters. She is a character capable of spamming her Skill to deal damage to multiple enemies at once and support the Archer team by providing him with powerful buffs and extra Skill Points

Rin Tohsaka skill kit revolves around support allies that consumes a lot of Skill Point by providing them with additional Skill Points and buffs based on the amount of Skill Points they consumed, additionally, Rin Tohsaka herself can constantly uses her enhanced Skill to deal damage to enemies and consume Skill Point.

Rin Tohsaka’s main damage output and gimmick revolves around her special “Gem Energy”, which can be gained whenever allies recover or consume Skill Points. When Rin have sufficient “Gem Energy”, she will be able to use her Enhanced Skill and constantly trigger it to deal damage to enemies by consuming “Gem Energy”, up to a total of 33 times. If during this process, Rin runs out of Gem Energy, she can instead consume Skill Point in order to generate more Gem Energy. 

Upon using her Ultimate, Rin Tohsaka can deal damage to all enemies and recover Skill Points for allies and makes all enemies take more damage from attacks. Crucially, Rin Tohsaka has access to a brand new Joint Attack talent when she is in the same team as Archer. Upon Archer and Rin being in the same team, Archer will gain additional attack and be able to ignore a portion of the enemies defenses. Additionally, upon Archer using his Skill, Rin will initiate a Joint Attack with Archer, dealing damage to enemies and recovering additional skill points for the entire team, allowing Archer to use his Skill even more times.

Gilgamesh is an upcoming 5-star character of the Lightning Element and Destruction path and is one of the 2 brand new Limited Collaboration Characters for the Fate and Honkai Star Rail Collaboration Event. He is a character that specializes in dealing constant Lightning Damage to enemies by spamming his Skill and Ultimate upon accumulating enough interest in the enemies.

Gilgamesh’s skill kit revolves mainly around his ability to constantly generate large amounts of energy through the use of his Skill, allowing him to deal constant damage to all enemies with both his Skill and Ultimate.

Upon entering the battlefield, whenever Gilgamesh takes action, he will automatically use his Basic Attack and accumulate Interest. Once he gains enough interest, Gilgamesh will be able to unlock his Skill and will only use skill while he is in his interest mode. Every time Gilgamesh uses his Skill, he will generate a large amount of Ultimate and be able to use his Ultimate quickly to deal damage to all enemies. Whenever allies in the team uses Ultimate, Gilgamesh will gain additional Interest stacks, allowing him to unlock his Skill much quicker.

When Saber is in the same team as Gilgamesh, they will be able to perform a joint attack after Saber uses 3 attacks, allowing them to deal both Wind and Lightning damage to enemies, advancing Saber’ action and recover 50% of her Energy for her. Additionally, when Gilgamesh is on the field, he is able to increase the damage output and critical damage of all allies based on their maximum energy cost.

Version Banner Schedule

Of course with the release of these brand new characters, their rate up banners and their signature weapon banners will also be available for players to roll for and obtain them. The first phase of the update patch will feature the banner for the brand new Fire Erudition Character Himeko Nova alongside her Signature Lightcone. In addition to her rate up banner, old characters will also be rerun, with the most likely candidate being rerun are the 5-Star Fire Elation Character Sparxie, the 5-Star Physical Preservation Character Dan Heng Permansor Terrae and the 5-Star Ice Remembrance Character Evernight.

The second phase of the update patch will feature the rerun banners for 3 old characters, with the current most likely candidates being the 5-Star Wind Erudition Character Anaxa, the 5-Star Quantum Erudition Character Jade and the 5-Star Imaginary Preservation Character Aventurine.

Additionally, the Limited Collaboration Rate Up banners for the 5-Star Character Rin Tohsaka and the 5-Star Character Gilgamesh will also be added into the Collaboration Rate Up Banner Tab alongside Saber and Archer, with their rate up period being very long and has no definitive end date yet.

A Star That Lights the Night

Effect: The wearer ignores 20% of the target’s DEF when dealing DMG. When the wearer uses an Assist Skill, they regenerate 6 Energy and gain “Sail,” lasting for 2 turns and stacking up to 3 time(s). Each stack of “Sail” increases Assist Skill DMG by 24%. When “Sail” reaches 3 stacks, each stack of “Sail” increases Ultimate DMG by 24%.

– Rin Tohsaka Signature Lightcone:

Flickering Stars

Effect: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 18%. When any ally character consumes a total of 4 or more Skill Points in a single turn, the wearer gains “Radiant Crown,” lasting for 3 turn(s). While the wearer has “Radiant Crown,” all allies’ DMG ignores 20% of the target’s DEF, and Skill DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 60%. Effects of the same type cannot stack.

– Gilgamesh Signature Lightcone: 

I Am As You Behold

Effect: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 18% and Energy Regeneration Rate by 10.0%. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases the Ultimate DMG dealt this time by 3% for every 1 Energy consumed, up to 72%. When the wearer enters combat or uses their Ultimate, the wearer gains “King’s Entertainment,” lasting for 3 turn(s). While the wearer has “King’s Entertainment,” increases all allies’ CRIT DMG by 24%. Effects of the same type cannot stack.

Together with the new lightcones, 2 brand new planar Ornamet Sets will also be introduced during the version 4.4 update patch, 1 for Himeko Nova team and 1 for generic Energy Ultimate teams:

– Fallen Star Anchorage

2-pcs: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 8%. When entering combat, if the wearer and another teammate are both Trailblaze Companions characters, increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 32%.

–  Cosmic Life Sciences Institute

2-pcs: When entering combat, if the wearer’s Max Energy is greater than or equal to 200, increases the wearer’s DMG dealt by 0.2% for every 1 point exceeding this value, up to a max increase of 32%.
