Honkai Star Rail 4.6 1st Phase Banners – Who To Roll For

The first phase of the 4.6 for Honkai Star Rail will begin on the 1st of June and last for a total of 3 weeks, with 2 different banners on rate up, featuring the Brand new 5-Star Ice Elation Character Pearl and the returning 5-Star Physical Elation Character Evanescia alongside their signature Lightcones.

Pearl

Pearl is a 5-star character of the Ice Element and Elation Path that specializes in providing sustain and beneficial effects to the entire team when she is in the same team with all Elation characters.

Pearl skill kit is extremely simple as she serves essentially as a Elation Sustain and Support character, capable of blocking enemies’ upcoming damage, heals the entire team while also providing the team with various powerful Elation buff effects if the entire team are Elation characters.

Pearl’s support effects come primarily from her Skill and Ultimate, with her Skill allowing her to generate Certified Banger points for the entire team to help facilitate the Elation team’s playstyle. Upon using her Ultimate, Pearl can designate an ally to be her main support target, granting them Action Advance based on the amount of Elation characters in the team. If there are 4 Elation characters in the same team, the target of Pearl’s Ultimate will instead gains an extra turn and be granted a large amount of Certified Banger and Punchline stacks, allowing them to deal powerful damage to enemies.

Pearl’s sustain capabilities comes from her Talent and Skill, with  her Skill activation allowing her to heal allies and her enhance basic attacks also being able to heal allies proportional to her defense stats. Meanwhile, Pearl’s talent allows her to convert her Certified Banger into the Repellency effect. While Pearl has Repellency, she will negate the incoming damage of the enemies by consuming a proportional amount of Repellency stacks. This helps to mitigate enemies’ damage against the team and make her a very powerful sustain overall.

Pull Rating: 10/10. A Core Support and Sustain Character for the Elation Team

Pearl is the de facto main sustain character for the Elation team with her incredible ability to prevent the team from taking damage as long as she has her shielding effect and can provide the team with massive amounts of Punchlines and Certified Banger stacks, helping to optimize the damage output and rotation of the Elation team massively.

Evanescia

Evanescia is a 5-star character of the Elation path that specializes in dealing Physical damage to enemies. Her abilities and skill kit revolves around the special Elation Path’s Certified Banger Points, allowing her to constantly spam her Ultimate and dealing Physical Elation damage to enemies, making her a very strong Elation Main DPS character.

Evanescia skill kit allows her to serve as a Elation team main DPS character that specializes in taking advantage of the Elation Path’s Certified Banger effect gained from triggering Aha Instances. She specializes in gaining Certified Banger and use them as Ultimate energy and uses her Ultimate Energy as Certified Banger stacks.

Evanescia’s main gimmick is somewhat similar to Saber from the Fate collaboration event, where she can use her Ultimate after accumulating a set amount of Certified banger stacks instead of needing to fully fill her Ultimate Energy, allowing her to constantly spam her Ultimate to deal damage to enemies. The more Aha Instance is triggered when she is in the same team as other Elation characters, the more Certified Banger she can gain through other characters gaining Certified Bangers. Additionally, whenever allies gain Certified Banger Points or when their Certified Banger ends, Evanescia will convert a portion of their Certified Banger into her own, allowing her to accumulate even more energy.

Another one of Evanescia’s main gimmick is her special “Master Fox” summon, which is able to launch Follow Up attacks against all enemies and deal damage to them while also recovering Energy for Evanescia. This allows Evanescia to have an additional way to recover her energy much quicker.

Evanescia’s gameplan revolves around spamming as many Skill and Ultimate against enemies as possible to deal powerful Physical Elation damage to enemies, making her a strong main DPS character for the Elation team that specializes in utilizing the  Certified Banger effect.

Pull Rating: 9/10. One Of The Best Elation DPS Characters In The Game

Evanescia is a very F2P friendly Elation DPS character with the ability to sweep enemies with ease thanks to her ability to constantly spam her Ultimate to deal Elation damage to enemies. She is one of the easiest to use and easy to invest characters in the game if players want to make an Elation team.

Honkai Star Rail 4.6 2nd Phase Banners – Who To Roll For

The second phase of the 4.6 Update Patch for Honkai Star Rail will also last for 21 days, starting from the end of the first phase banners and lasting until the end of the update patch. This phase features 1 banner – the rerun banner for the 5-Star Fire Nihility Character Mortenax Blade.

Mortenax Blade

Mortenax Blade is a 5-star character of the Fire Element and follows the path of Nihility. He offers the team immense debuff effects that massively boost the damage the entire deal to the enemies while also helping boost the team’s ultimate and follow up attack damage through various conditions. Additionally, he can function as a practically immortal taunt sustain for various teams.

Mortenax Blade’s skill kit makes him a very strong debuffer support character capable of both reducing the enemies’ defenses and making them take more damage while also being able to supplement the team’s overall damage output and sustain the team with his effects that make him functionally immortal.

Mortenax Blade main utility and effects lies in his Ultimate and 3rd Bonus Ability, which allows him to set up a powerful zone that massively reduces enemies’ defenses while also boosting the damage they take from all allies. Additionally, when going alongside a team with an additional Nihility character, Mortenax Blade can buff the Ultimate Damage of all allies by a massive 50%. If the team doesn’t have an additional Nihility character instead, Mortenax Blade will increase the entire team’s Follow Up Attack damage, making him suitable to be a very strong support and debuffer for both the Debuff Nihility team and any Follow Up Attack teams.

Additionally, Mortenax Blade has the ability to be functionally immortal due to his special ability to activate and deactivate his zone. By activating his zone, Blade can enter an enhanced state that massively deals damage to enemies and makes all enemies attack him more frequently, allowing him to gain charge and energy. If he gets a killing blow from enemies, he will automatically exit the zone, recover 50% of his Max HP and his energy, then convert all of his excess energy into actual Ultimate energy, allowing him to immediately enter his zone again. As long as Mortenax Blade has enough energy to constantly activate his Zone, he is functionally immortal and can help to apply taunt to enemies, making them attack him more and protect the team.

Pull Rating: 9/10. A Powerful Debuffer and Support Character

Mortenax Blade’s skill kit and abilities makes him a very powerful debuffer and support character that is able to massively boost the team’s overall damage output and reduces enemies’ defenses and resistances massively while he is on the field.

He can fit in any team that requires defense reduction on enemies and damage amplification, making him a very universal character that players should have for any team.
