Jade is an output-type character who can designate a single ally as a [Debt Collector]. She gains energy points by attacking enemy targets herself or through the [Debt Collector], triggering follow-up attacks. Jade’s mechanics are particularly well-suited for the Fictione Narrative mode and teammates with high-frequency multi-target damage.

Jade is a 5-star limited Quantum Erudition character in HSR. As a dedicated AoE specialist, she delivers exceptionally high cleave damage, making her a top-tier performer in the Fictione Narrative mode. Due to the mechanics of her Skill and Talent, Jade at E0 is typically paired with another AoE-capable unit to form a dual-carry team. Depending on the team composition and her own investment, she can flexibly serve as either the main or sub-dps. Therefore, even with the future release of other limited Erudition characters, Jade’s unique role remains secure.

However, unlike characters such as Argenti, whose Ultimate can bounce between targets and concentrate damage on a single enemy, Jade’s entire kit is built around pure, undirected AoE damage with a severe lack of single-target focus. This results in very poor versatility for E0 Jade, largely restricting her optimal usage to the highly AoE-focused environment of Fictione Narrative.

Jade

Top-tier AoE clearing efficiency

Flexible role in dual-carry teams

Future-proof niche with unique mechanics

Severely lacks single-target capability

Limited versatility outside Fictione Narrative

Requires specific team composition at E0

Skill Priority

Jade’s core gameplay revolves around her Talent’s follow-up attack. Her Ultimate enhances this follow-up attack. Both her own attacks and those of her Skill-designated “Debt Collector” generate stacks when hitting enemies. The more frequently the “Debt Collector” attacks and hits targets, the faster these stacks accumulate, triggering the powerful follow-up attack more often.

Night on the Milky Way 5★HP: 1164ATK: 582DEF: 397Increases wearer’s DMG based on the number of enemies.Deals additional DMG after triggering Weakness Break.
The Birth of the Self 4HP: 952ATK: 476DEF: 331Increases the wearer’s Follow-up Attack DMG.Further increases Follow-up Attack DMG when the target’s HP is less than or equal to 50%.

Relics and Planar Ornaments for Jade

Ornament: 4-Piece The Ashblazing Grand Duke (Follow-up Attack set) – universally effective.

Planar Ornament: Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm set – the top choice, especially with other Erudition units, for its CRIT Rate boost.

Ornament: 4-Piece Genius of Brilliant Stars (Quantum set) – remains powerful in Quantum-weak environments and provides DEF Ignore.

Planar Ornament: Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves set.

Jade + Herta + Robin + Aventurine
Jade Follow-Up TeamJade + Herta + Robin + AventurineA team where Jade serves as the primary damage dealer. Herta accelerates stack generation through her own follow-up attacks to fuel Jade’s output. Herta can be replaced with other suitable follow-up attackers.
The Herta Hypercarry TeamThe Herta + Jade + RuanMei + LingshaThis composition focuses on The Herta as the core hypercarry. Jade’s role is primarily to provide energy and assist in stack generation, and should be built with high Speed.

Jade Eidolons

Dramatically accelerates her Follow-up Attack activation in non-Pure Fiction scenarios, where facing only 1-2 enemies is common. This fundamentally improves her performance in boss fights and smaller wave content.

Grants Jade 20% Quantum RES PEN and automatically applies the Debt Collector state to herself when she designates an ally. This represents a massive front-loaded damage increase – you truly get what you pay for.

Drastically improves Jade’s energy generation against fewer targets, significantly reducing her team composition restrictions. E1 is essential for using her effectively in mixed scenarios like Pure Fiction or Simulated Universe.

The recommended upgrade path for Jade depends on your primary goal. To maximize her dominance in Fictione Narrative, prioritize her Light Cone first, followed by E1 and then E6. If your goal is to maximize her overall versatility for other game modes, then obtaining E1 should be your first priority, after which you can pursue her Light Cone and E6.
