Official Neverness to Everness Version 1.3 Launch Date and Banner Schedule
NTE Version 1.3 “Rising from the Moonlit Fog” goes live on August 19, 2026 after maintenance. The limited boards run back-to-back with shared pity progress:
| Phase | Character(s) | Banner Window | Notes |
| Phase 1 | Zankou + Nanari (rerun) | August 19 – September 9 | First limited Incantation S-Class |
| Phase 2 | Linko + Xun (rerun) | September 9 – September 30 | Anima focus, team-sync kit |
Pity and roll counts carry over between the two boards, and skin/gift event progress also transfers. This is the cleanest double-limited setup NTE has run so far.
New Limited S-Class Characters: Zankou and Linko
Two new limited characters are already revealed in the NTE 1.3 live stream as follows:
Zankou – Incantation Main DPS
Zankou (CV: Inoue Kikuko) finally steps out of antagonist territory. Affiliated with the Scarlet Letter and previously the black-curtain figure in Chapter 4 who called Daffodil “onee-sama,” she arrives with a redesigned look and a dual-state kit.

- Core mechanic: Switches between Reality state (higher damage dealt) and Illusion state (higher critical damage, attacks count as additional hits, applies and spreads continuous “Heart Erosion” DoT).
- Signature ability: Right-eye “Eye of Delusion / Confusion” that interferes with emotions and will, generates illusions, and creates Illusion Spaces.
- City utility: Enter Illusion state to evade surveillance or police tracking and it is highly useful during Pink Paws Heist or chase sequences. After the story she is imprisoned; attachment can be raised via gifts for special interactions and duel challenges.
- Combat feel: Fast animations, high skill ceiling, continuous damage specialist.
Zankou headlines the first half of the version and is the clear pull priority for most players building toward the Scarlet Letter climax.
Linko – Anima Support / Instant-Fire Specialist
Linko (CV: Ogura Yui) arrives in the second half with her anomaly partner Sadachan (CV: Murase Michiya). A member of E.T.D. 6th Squad, she senses “waves” from people, objects, and phenomena and synchronizes her frequency to them.

- Core mechanic: Instant-fire and additional-attack focused. Calls Sadachan or teammates for Sync Attacks; ultimate can synchronize up to three members (including bench) for joint attacks.
- City utility: Uses Sadachan’s spectral arm for “Pop” movement that lets her float and traverse Hethereau more freely.
- Team identity: Pure teamwork enabler that rewards coordinated rotations.
Linko’s kit pairs naturally with Incantation units (including Zankou) through the Hex reaction, making the back-to-back banners especially interesting for reaction-focused teams.
Main Story – Scarlet Letter Finale
Neverness to Everness Version 1.3 delivers the final chapter of the Scarlet Letter arc. The narrative jumps across past, present, and future anomalies held by the organization. Expect a major confrontation in the harsh “Mist Nest” area, the return of full-power Xun on the frontline, and the debut of new character Nyisha (also E.T.D. 6th Squad).
Chaos, Linko, the Eibon crew, and other established faces all converge for the climax. Zankou’s animated short “Color of the Soul” already teases her complicated past and relationship with “Mother.”
Brand-New Open Area: Star Dusk / Hoshikure Protection Zone
With the new update, Northwest Hethereau (the former construction site) opens as a massive drive-oriented zone. Circling the main loop road by car takes over ten minutes. Features include:
- Settlement, rice fields, mountain off-road sections, and multiple rally courses
- Tracking Shoot Mode for filming while driving
- Perfect showcase for drifting and high-speed runs

This is the largest pure exploration/driving addition since launch and immediately expands the open-world fantasy.
Summer Activities, New Vehicles & City Content
The update leans hard into summer lifestyle systems with the following:

- Beach Volleyball (Stars Volleyball): 2v2 matches with character-specific strengths/weaknesses. Start with beginner matches and unlock higher difficulties. Weekly league feeds into the shared “Project Million” earning frame.
- Water activities: New water motorcycle “Tide” enables high-speed water travel, jumps, races, and treasure hunting. Harpoon floating debris and convert finds into Fons, turning the sea into a legitimate income source beyond fishing.
- New vehicles & property: Beach buggy “Southern,” bicycle “Nostalgia,” and standalone house “Quiet Field Elegant Residence” with home cultivation/gardening content.
- City Development (permanent): Construction quests involving material handling, excavation, leveling, and operating heavy machinery (shovels, rollers, dump trucks, forklifts). Another permanent “job” layer similar to café or taxi work.
- Orbital Break: Limited-time survival-style combat event (Vampire Survivors-like) where you defend against monster waves with random enhancements.
Additional quality-of-life: random outfit auto-change from owned clothes, UI hide option, minimap added to Pink Paws Heist, reduced city stamina consumption, and rendering improvements.
Free Livestream Codes (Redeem Before They Expire)
Three codes dropped during the special program. You can follow our NTE code guide to see what they are with their respective rewards. Make sure to claim them immediately:

These codes alone give 300 Annulith plus valuable upgrade materials and those are going to be ideal for starting the Zankou banner strong. When you need even more currency for the dual limited boards or the new vehicles and property, topping up via Enjoygm remains one of the cleanest ways to stay ahead without missing limited-time value.
Optimizations and Future Teases
Beyond the headline content, the livestream confirmed various system polish (character rendering, stamina, minimap, auto-outfit) and permanently integrated some prior limited content. Looking ahead, Version 1.4 was teased with the amusement park “Pukaland.”
What You Should Do Right Now
- Redeem the three codes before August 10.
- Pre-farm Incantation and Anima materials plus Heart Erosion / continuous-damage related resources for Zankou.
- Clear remaining Version 1.2 content and stockpile Annulith.
- Decide your pull priority since Zankou is the story and combat headliner for Phase 1.
- Prepare driving setups and explore the new Protection Zone the moment it opens.
Conclusion
And that is all from the NTE 1.3 live stream summary. The Rising from the Moonlit Fog update is the biggest narrative payoff yet while simultaneously expanding the lifestyle and exploration side that makes Neverness to Everness unique. Stay tuned for full kit breakdowns, best teams, and farming routes once the servers update on August 19. See you in Hethereau, Appraisers.
