The Twins is a 6-Star Limited Collaboration Character for the Reverse: 1999 x Atomic Hearts Collaboration Event and is the game’s first ever Arcanist to have 2 Afflatus in the same character – Mineral and Star. They serve as a DPS character for the game’s Conduit Archetype that has the ability to switch between 2 different skill kits with different Afflatus to deal effective damage to enemies.

Unlike usual Arcanists who can use their incantation skills and ultimate actively, The Twins utilize their conduits to activate different skills and effects depending on which conduit they activated. The Twins have 2 different sets of conduits they have access to, with each having a different Afflatus and a different set of Incantation Skills and Effects. Additionally, The Twins also have 1 extra AP every round, 1 extra Incantation Draw Limit and can equip 2 different Psychubes. When attacked, The Twins will take damage according to which Affaltus has the advantage against the attack, reducing the damage they take.

The Twins can choose between 2 different effects for each of their skills, with them having vastly different effects depending on which type of Energy is consumed, additionally, each of The Twins skills can only be activated when they are in the correct conduit state. The Twins’ 1st skill is only active when they activates the Mineral Conduit and utilizes Mineral energy to trigger 2 different effects: either buffing themself with more Mineral Energy and Harmonization or dealing mass Mineral damage to all enemies, dealing more damage the more Mineral Energy is consumed. The Twins’ 2nd skill works the same way, being only active if they are in the Star Conduit state and have 2 effects: grants Critical Rate, Critical Damage and Harmonization or dealing mass Star damage to all enemies, dealing more damage the more Star Energy is consumed.

Upon using their Ultimate, The Twins do a joint attack against all enemies, dealing both Mineral and Star damage to enemies and consuming all Star and Mineral Energy. Should You Roll: Yes, absolutely. Not only are The Twins a Limited character, they are also a Collaboration Limited character, meaning they will not be rerun in the foreseeable future. Therefore, players should at least roll for them for collection purposes.

6-Star Rate Up Selector Banner – Ripples On The Water (July 23rd – August 13th)

Alongside the rate up banner for The Twins, another special banner will be available at roughly the same time: the Ripples On The Water 6-Star Character Selector Banner. On this banner, players will be able to select 1 among the 7 different 6-Star characters to be the rated up character: Lopera, Windsong, An-an Lee, Isolde, Tooth Fairy, Regulus and 6.

Importantly, the first 6* character players obtained from this banner will be guaranteed to be the character they selected as the rate up character. However, in exchange for this, the pity of this banner will not carry over to other banners.

Isolde excels at inflicting enemies with massive amounts of Burn DoT debuffs with her abilities and follow up attacks, helping the Lingering Glow to build up their stacks extremely quickly. Additionally, Isolde also helps boost the team’s overall damage output by reducing enemies critical damage resistances.

Tooth Fairy is an Arcanist that serves as a support and enabler for the different Impromptu teams. She provides the team with powerful Impromptu Incantation damage buff in addition to being able to provide healing to the team, allowing her to be slotted in as a secondary support and sustain for both the Plant Impromptu and the Star Impromptu teams.

Regulus is a character that serves as a substitute main DPS or sub DPS character for the Impromptu team, with her ability to direct the target of the Impromptu Incantation and boosting its damage output.

6 is a character that mainly works for teams that relies on Negative Statuses, with his skill kit and abilities allowing him to inflict a lot of different Negative statuses and debuffs on enemies all at once.

Among the 6 6-star characters on rate up, the ones with the most benefits that players will find are Isolde for the Burn and Lingering Glow team as she is a core component to make the team works and Tooth Fairy for the Impromptu team, with her new Euphoria buff allowing her to become a very strong enabler and damage support for both the Star and Plant variation of the team.

For the other 5 6-star characters, both An-an Lee and Lopera can be considered if players want to have good support for the Plant Impromptu and the Igor team specifically. As for Windsong, Regulus and 6, they are generally quite dated and does not really fit into any particular meta team comps, so players should not consider rolling for them.

6* Rerun Banner – Igor & Cheng Heguang

Igor is a 6-star Arcanist of the Beast afflatus whose gimmick and skill kit revolves around his special Ultimate effect which can be triggered constantly thanks to it being considered as Follow Up Attack. He is a brand new pioneer character of an entirely brand new Ultimate based team alongside specific characters in the game like Lopera and Moldir to utilize different effects such as bullets, Shrapnels and more.

Cheng Heguang is a 6-Star Arcanist of the Star Afflatus. He specializes in constantly dealing Extra Attacks to enemies whenever allies attack them and buff the entire team’s overall Extra Attack Damage output.

While both Igor and Cheng Heguang are very good characters, with Igor having an entire team dedicated to himself and Cheng Heguang being a good Extra Attack support character, considering that the update patch features a Limited Collaboration Banner, players probably should spend their rolls on the Collaboration Banner instead.
