Hiyuki

Hiyuki is a 5-star Resonator of the Cryo Element and wields a Sword as her main weapon. She serves as the brand new Main DPS character for the Cryo element whose skill kit revolves around dealing massive amounts of Basic Attacks to enemies and inflicting Glacio Bite onto the enemies, dealing more damage to enemies with Glacio Bite.

Hiyuki’s skill kit revolves around players accumulating as much Forte Gauge energy as possible using her Basic Attacks while dealing Cryo damage to enemies. Then upon accumulating enough Forte Gauge, Hiyuki’s Resonance Liberation is available, allowing her to enter a special enhanced mode and dealing more damage to enemies. Hiyuki’s skill kit also allows her to inflict Glacio Bite and allow her to consume Glacio Bite in order to deal more damage against enemies and inflict the Frostbite debuff on enemies.

When using Hiyuki’s Basic Attacks, players will be able to accumulate Dedication Forte Gauge stacks and gain more damage bonus the more Gauge she has. Once her Dedication Gauge is full, her Heavy Attack will be massively enhanced and her Resonance Liberation will become available for players to use. Once used, Hiyuki will enter a special Enhanced Mode that allows her to massively enhance the damage output of all of her skills and abilities.

Hiyuki’s case is very unique as she is a main DPS character of the Glacio element, making her extremely valuable as the Glacio element hasn’t had any new or good characters for a long while. This, coupled with that fact that she is capable of dealing amazing damage to enemies and is extremely easy to use make her one of the best DPS characters players should consider getting from the update patch for any future Glacio weak contents.

Mornye

Mornye is a 5-star Resonator of the Fusion element and wields a Broadblade as her main weapon. Her abilities surround her various methods to bombard enemies with powerful machineries and offer the team various beneficial effects. She serves as the main sustain support option in different teams, especially the brand new off-tune mechanic centric team.

Mornye’s skill kit allows her to provide various benefits to the team by either tanking the enemies’ attacks or healing the team while providing powerful buffs. Mornye’s Resonance Skill allows her to deal Fusion damage to enemies in front of her while setting up a special parry barrier. When enemies hit the barrier, Mornye can auto parry and deal Fusion damage to enemies.

Mornye’s Resonance Liberation allows her to bombard enemies with various laser machines, dealing Fusion damage to them and providing the team with various beneficial effects. When Mornye’s Forte Gauge is filled, she can enter her special aerial mode, completely ignoring all enemies’ ground attacks and summon large amounts of cannons to deal heavy damage on the field while healing allies.

As one of the few premium support options available for players in the game, Mornye offers a lot of important beneficial effects for various team comps, making her a very strong support character overall with powerful buffs, rivaling that of Shorekeeper.

Iuno

Iuno is a 5-star character of the Aero Element that wields Gauntlets as her main weapons. She specializes in quickly taking the stage to deal decent amounts of Liberation damage to enemies then quickly switch off the field and provide a large amount of healing, shields and beneficial buffs like Attribute Damage Amplification and Heavy Attack Amplification for the next Resonator taking the field. 

Iuno’s main gimmick lies in her ability to both provide the team with amazing mobility in and out of combat while also providing the team with various beneficial effects like off field supplemental damage, healing, shielding, Heavy Attack Amplification and more. Her abilities allow her to set up a special domain when certain conditions are met, allowing characters inside the domain to deal more damage while reducing their Stamina consumption, perfectly suitable for Heavy Attack-centric characters. 

Pull Rating: 8/10. A Good Sub DPS/ Support Character.

Iuno excels mainly as one of the game’s universal Heavy Attack Amplify buffers, making her a very sought after character with how many different Resonators’ main damage output being Heavy Attacks.

Iuno offers the team a lot of important effects and gimmicks while also dealing a decent amount of damage herself, making her a very good get if you are intending on investing in a Heavy Attack centric team comp alongside characters like Augusta.

The second phase rate up banners for Wuthering Waves version 3.3 starts right after the first phase ends and will last until the end of the patch, lasting for 21 days. The 2nd phase banners will feature the release of the 5-Star Fusion Resonator Denia, the returning 5-Star Havoc Resonator Chisa and the returning 5-Star Havoc Resonator Phrolova.

Denia

Denia is an 5-star Resonator of the Fusion Element and wields a rectifier as her main weapon type. Denia serves as the last missing piece for the Fusion Burst Team and also has the ability to enable the Tune Strain teams thanks to her ability to switch between 2 different modes similar to Lynae.

Based on her skill kit and her ability to switch between 2 different forms, Denia is a sub DPS and Enabler Support Resonator for both the Tune Strain and Fusion Burst teams, filling a similar role to Lynae as she can also change between 2 different forms before the start of a fight to help facilitate 2 different teams.

When in combat, Denia has 2 different forms that she can switch between with different effects: Stagecraft Form and Breakdown Form. In Stagecraft Form, Denia can accumulate her Forte Gauge by attacking enemies and can enhance her Resonance skill when her Forte Gauge is filled. Upon using her Resonance Skill, Denia can enter Breakdown Form and consume her Forte Gauge energy in order to deal massive amounts of damage to enemies. When in this state, Denia gains Dark Cores overtime, which help unlock her Enhanced Resonance Skills.

Casting her Resonance Liberation in the different forms allows her to gain different effects and benefits, allowing her to deal more damage to enemies. Additionally, depending on her state before the start of the fight, Denia can inflict Tune Strain or Fusion Burst to enemies with her abilities, making her a very powerful Sub DPS and Fusion Burst enabler.

Pull Rating: 10/10 If You Have Aemeath. 7/10 Otherwise,

Denia mainly serves as a sub DPS and enabler for the Tune Strain and Fusion Burst team alongside Aemeath as the main DPS character, allowing players more options to choose from when playing around with Aemeath’s 2 modes. This makes it so that Denia is relatively restrictive in team building as she is mainly only used alongside Aemeath in most cases. Therefore, if you have Aemeath, rolling for Denia is highly recommended, if you don’t, Denia is not that worth of a roll realistically.

Chisa

Chisa is a 5-star character being introduced in Wuthering Waves. She is a Havoc Resonator wielding broadblade as her main weapon and specializes in healing as well as supporting teams that can inflict negative statuses on enemies.

Chisa’s skill kit changes depending on her different modes, with her scissors mode allowing her to heal allies with her attacks, while her chainsaw mode being able to deal massive amounts of Havoc damage to enemies and inflict the special Havoc Bane status effects on them. Chisa’s main gimmick revolves around doing combos that let her switch between her scissors and chainsaw mode in order to quickly inflict as much damage to enemies as possible while healing the entire team. Her main damage comes from her Resonance Liberation damage, which all of her abilities’ damage output are considered as Resonance Liberation damage.

Chisa serves as both the support and sub DPS option for various negative status teams to come in Wuthering Waves, with her amazing healing abilities coupled with the fact that she can handle her own damage output very well on her own.

Pull Rating: 8/10. A Great Support For Any Negative Status Teams

Chisa serves as a very flexible character, capable of supporting any teams that relies on inflicting various negative effects onto the enemies like Spectro Frazzle, Aero Erosion, Glacio Bite or even Fusion Burst, making her capable of being used in a lot of top teams. However, she is often not the best dedicated option to go on these teams as she doesn’t provide enough benefits to the team to be optimal and is usually considered as a comfortable option instead of the optimal pick. Therefore, players should consider when rolling for Chisa as her value will fluctuate heavily whenever a dedicated support character is released for the different negative status teams.

Phrolova

Phrolova is a 5-star Havoc Resonator who wields a Rectifier as her main type of weapon. She functions primarily as the Havoc team’s main DPS option, with a skill kit that revolves around dealing Echo Skill Damage.

Phrolova can attack multiple enemies on the field in succession and deal massive amounts of Havoc damage to enemies on the field, with the damage being considered as Resonance Skill Damage. With her Resonance Liberation, she can summon Hecate onto the field to deal damage to enemies even when she is off field, allowing her to deal massive amounts of Echo Skill Damage to enemies.

Pull Rating: 8/10. Pull If You Want To Invest In A Havoc Team.

Phrolova’s damage output is exceptionally high as a main DPS character meant to carry the Havoc element in the game. Coupled this with her easy to use skill kit makes Phrolova a good choice to roll for if you want to invest in a Havoc team.
