Brand New Region, Story and Explorable Area

With the end of the Lahai-Roi saga with the main story of version 3.4 Update, for the release of the version 3.5 update, Wuthering Waves will be introducing an entirely brand new region for players to explore, with a whole host of brand new characters, story quest and explorable areas that you can experience in the form of the new region Mengzhou, one of the major cities of Huanglong.

Additionally, during your exploration of the new areas in Mengzhou, players will be able to meet with old and new faces alike, like a certain companion from Huanglong making her return in a brand new form.

Brand New Resonators & Weapons

With the release of Wuthering Waves version update 3.5, players will be able to meet 2 Brand New Resonators: the 5-Star Havoc Sword Resonator Yangyang: Xuanling and the 5-Star Glacio Rectifier Resonator Suisui.

Yangyang: Xuanling is an upcoming 5-Star Resonator of the Havoc Element and wields a sword as her main weapon type. She is a Main DPS character for the Havoc Bane team and specializes in dealing Heavy Attack damage to enemies while switching between different forms.

Yangyang: Xuanling’s skill kit boils down mainly into 2 gimmicks: She can switch between 2 different forms in battle to perform different types of sword combos, dealing Heavy Attack Damage and she can inflict and consume Havoc Bane on enemies in order to strengthen her damage while in the different sword stances.

Yangyang: Xuanling has 2 different sword stances: Azure and Feather, with each sword stance allowing her to perform a set of different combos damage to enemies, dealing Heavy Attack Damage. She can switch between these two sword stance using her Resonance Skill at ease. 

Upon doing her combo Yangyang: Xuanling can inflict Havoc Bane on enemies and consume stacks of Havoc Bane on enemies to enhance her Damage output, allowing her to use special Heavy Attacks with different forms thanks to her Forte Circuit. Additionally, while doing her attacks, whenever an ally inflict Havoc Bane onto enemies, she will gain additional buffs to her damage and allows her to generate more Melody and Azure Feather stacks, which can be consumed to further enhances her damage output.

Suisui is an upcoming 5-Star Resonator of the Glacio Element and wields a rectifier as her main weapon type. She function primarily as a support sustain character that can inflict Glacio Chafe onto enemies and helps boost the damage output and grants special effects to any Negative Status teams thanks to her powerful Resonance Liberation Zone.

Suisui’s skill kit focuses around her recovering Stillness points through her various attacks in order to allow her to activate her enhanced Resonance Skill, allowing her to enter the Cleansing Rain state and deal more damage. She can also inflict Glacio Chafe onto enemies and enhances the Negative Statuses effects when she has her Resonance Liberation Zone up.

Upon attacking enemies, Suisui will accumulate Stillness points, which, once maxed, allow her to activate her enhanced Resonance Skill to allow her to enter the special Cleansing Rain State. While in this state, all of Suisui’s damage is enhanced and she will gain new moves. Suisui’s attacks will also inflict Glacio Chafe negative status on the enemies.

Once she has accumulated enough concerto energy, using her Resonance Liberation will allow Suisui to create a special zone. When the zone is active, whenever the team inflicts different types of Negative Statuses on the enemies, the Negative Statuses will gain additional effects and damage boost based on the type of Negative Statuses, making Suisui into somewhat of a universal support for any Negative Status team. Additionally, Suisui’s Inherent Skills allows her to heal the team and prevent an ally from dying by sacrificing her own HP, making her a very strong sustain character to have.

New Rover Element and Skill Kit

With the release of Mengzhou, Rover will also be receiving an entirely brand new makeover in the form of a brand new element – Electro, with an entirely brand new skill kit and abilities.

Electro Rover’s skill kit is extremely simple in nature, with their abilities revolves around entering their special Apex Resonance Mode in order to be able to chain into different Rover elements, allowing them to inflict Spectro Frazzle, Aero Erosion and Electro Flare all at the same time.

Electro Rover’s Forte Circuit allows them to enter the special Apex Resonance Mode once they have accumulated enough Forte Gauge. In this mode, using their Resonance Skill in various ways like pressing and holding will allow Rover to use their other element’s Resonance Skill, allowing them to either deal Havoc Damage, Deal Spectro damage and inflict Spectro Frazzle on enemies or Deal Aero Damage and inflict Aero erosion on enemies. Additionally, Electro Rover’s attacks will also inflict Electro Flare Negative Status on enemies.

Electro Rover functions simply as a support and sub DPS character for the Negative Statuses teams, with their ability to boost the attack of the team and inflict multiple different Negative statuses on enemies all at once.

Rate Up Banner Schedule

The 3.5 Update Patch for Wuthering Waves will last 42 days,with 2 Banner phases during its duration.

The first phase banners for 3.5 version Update begins at the start of the version update and will last for a total of 21 days. During this banner phase, players will be able to roll for the brand new 5-Star Havoc Sword Resonator Yangyang: Xuanling, the returning 5-Star Spectro Pistols Resonator Lynae and the returning 5-Star Spectro Gauntlets Resonator Luuk Herssen alongside their signature weapons.

The 2nd phase banners for version 3.5 will start 21 days after the start of the update patch and last until the end of the update patch, featuring the brand new 5-Star Glacio Rectifier Resonator Suisui and the returning 5-Star Fusion Sword Resonator Aemeath alongside their signature weapons.

In addition to these 2 phases of banners featuring brand new and returning rate up banners, during the version 3.5 Update Patch, a special Choose Your Resonator Banner will also be available, featuring 6 Limited 5-Star Resonators of the 1.x Patches, including the 5-Star Aero Broadblade Resonator Jiyan, the 5-Star Spectro Broadblade Resonator Jinshi, the 5-Star Fusion Sword Resonator Changli, the 5-Star Electro Rectifier Resonator Yinlin, the 5-Star Glacio Rectifier Resonator Zhezhi and the 5-Star Electro Gauntlets Resonator Xiangli Yao.

This banner will not share the same pity count as other limited rate up banners and will reward players with extra pulls upon players reaching certain pull milestones. Additionally, the first multi pull on this banner will be completely free as well.

New Events
