As one of the newest and most interesting team compositions in Zenless Zone Zero, the Angels of Delusion teamcomp is one of the most combo and synergistic teamcomps in the game, requiring players to be very specific about the team’s build and rotation in order to best deal the most damage to enemies and make full use of the powerful effects of the team’s skill kit.

Zenless Zone Zero Angels of Delusion

The Angels of Delusion teamcomp revolves around the 3 different Angels of Delusion, each with their own unique abilities and roles to fill in the team, with many of their skill kit and abilities synergizing well with each other:

Aria: The de facto main DPS character of the team, Aria is an S Rank Agent of the Anomaly Specialty that specializes in dealing massive amounts of Ether and Attribute Anomaly Effect damage to enemies on the field. Aria is the team’s main on field DPS character, with her skill kit requiring her to generate special Fandom Power on the field to consume with her Basic Attack in order to charge up her Basic Attack to deal powerful damage to enemies based on the amount of Fandom Power she consumed and dealing more damage and attribute anomaly effect to enemies, allowing her to trigger Anomaly Attribute effects onto the enemies.

Zenless Zone Zero Angels of Delusion Aria

Please keep in mind that Aria deal more damage and can trigger the Abloom effect on the enemies when she attacks enemies already under an attribute Anomaly effect, with her attacks being massively enhanced if the enemies are also under the stunned status. Therefore, to optimize Aria’s damage output as the team’s main DPS, it is important for players to apply an Attribute Anomaly effect and stun the enemies before switching to Aria for her to do her combo to maximize her damage output.

Nangong Yu: Nangong Yu is the team’s Stun Specialty Agent and is an Agent that does a lot of important gimmick and effects for the team, making her the most crucial character in the entire team due to how many effects her skill kit provide to the entire team. Nangong Yu is the Angels of Delusion main enabler, with her skill kit not only allowing the Angels of Delusion team do more damage by stunning the enemies but also help to enable both Abloom and Disorder effects to massively improve the damage output of the entire team.

Zenless Zone Zero Angels of Delusion Nangong Yu

Nangong Yu’s main role in the team is to be the main enabler for the team before switching to Aria, with Nangong Yu’s skill kit allowing her to deal powerful Impact damage to enemies in order to put them into the stunned state while also quickly raise the enemies’ Attribute Anomaly Gauge to trigger the Ether Attribute Anomaly effect onto the enemy. Not only that, with her in the team, she massively improved the entire team’s ability to inflict Attribute Anomaly Effect on the enemies by increasing the team’s Attribute Anomaly Buildup Rate against Stunned enemies by a massive amount while also help boosting the team’s damage output by a large amount.

Nangong Yu’s Core Skill and Additional Ability also help to facilitate the team’s gameplan by allowing her to trigger both Abloom and a special Disorder effect on the enemies when she and the team deal Attribute Anomaly and other Anomaly effects on the enemies, helping to facilitate the entire team’s damage output and gameplay rotation easily.

Sunna: Sunna is the last member of the Angels of Delusion team and is the main support and sustain character for the team, with her ability to provide a massive boost in the team’s overall damage output and attack while also being able to stay off field for a large portion of the team’s onfield damage time.

Zenless Zone Zero Angels of Delusion Sunna

Sunna’s main role in the Angels of Delusion team is to stay off-field and provide powerful supportive buffs to the team in the form of her Claw Sharpeners effects. When allies or Sunna attack enemies, they will inflict the special Cat Gaze’s effect, dealing Physical damage to enemies. This helps to facilitate the team’s attribute anomaly playstyle but allows Sunna to help initiate the Physical Attribute Anomaly effect onto the enemies. Additionally, Sunna’s Special Attack and Ultimate allows her to deal big Physical damage to enemies and trigger quick assist, allowing players to switch other members of the Angels of Delusion on field much easier.

Sunna’s Additional ability and Core Skill also help provide a massive boost in damage for the entire team, with her abilities boosting the damage output by granting the team a hefty attack boost based on her own attack stat and help supplement the team’s damage output if she is off field and an Anomaly Character trigger her Cat’s Claw effect, helping her to deal Physical damage to enemies without being on the field.

Now that we have gone over the roles of each Angels of Delusion in the Angels of Delusion team comp, let us go over how players can best play the team in a rotation:

Zenless Zone Zero Angels of Delusion Animations

– The team’s damage rotation starts with Sunna, where you can start the team’s combo by using Sunna’s basic attacks and EX Special Attacks to summon Bubblegum and apply the Cat’s Gaze effect on the enemies, then switch out to the other members using Quick Assist. This helps to set up Sunna’s off-field gimmick and help her to boost the team’s damage right away with her special off-field damage boosting effect against enemies with Cat’s Gaze effect.

– Then follow up by using Sunna’s Quick Assist to switch into Nangong Yu, making her the on-field character. Nangong Yu’s main goal when she is on field is to quickly deal damage to the enemies to both stun them and apply the Ether Anomaly Attribute effect onto the enemies to help set up Aria. When Nangong Yu is on the field, it is important for players to quickly generate Downbeasts points for Nangong Yu to allow her to charge up her special Charged Basic Attack in order to deal more Daze and Attribute damage to the enemies. Once the enemies have been stunned and inflicted with the Ether Anomaly Attribute effect by Nangong Yu, players will immediately switch to Aria.

– Upon switching to Aria, since the enemy has been inflicted with the Ether Anomaly Attribute effect and is already stunned, a certain amount of Fandom Power has been generated onto the field, which Aria can consume to use her charged basic Attack to deal massive amounts of damage to the enemies and trigger the Ether Anomaly Attribute effect onto the enemies.

– Then, while the enemies is still stunned, players will need to use her Special EX Attack and Ultimate to generate as many Fandom Power on the field for Aria as possible to allow her to use her Charged Basic Attack as many times as possible in order to deal massive amounts of Attribute Anomaly effect damage to enemies as possible within a single rotation. While this effect is done, since Aria is inflicting the Ether Attribute Anomaly effect and Abloom damage to enemies, Nangong Yu will generate special Vibrato stacks for herself, which will activate and deal additional instances of Abloom damage to the enemies once they recover from the Stunned state.

– Finally, to end off the rotation, players can switch Nangong Yu on the field to start the rotation all over again, with Nangong Yu being able to immediately use her Charged Basic Attack onto the enemies and trigger special Polar Disorder effect onto the enemies upon switching on the field.

Important Notes:

– To maximize the team’s damage output, upon Nangong Yu stunning the enemies and triggering the Chain Attack effect for the team, players can immediately use Nangong Yu’s and Sunna’s Ultimate to boost the team’s damage output and set up the Ether Veil effect to further enhance the team’s damage output.

– When Aria’s Ultimate is readied, upon switching to her, players should immediately use her Ultimate as it helps to mitigate Aria’s Fandom Power cost while also boosting her overall damage output, helping to massively improve her damage rotation and allow players to use her Charged Basic Attack more consistently while attacking stunned enemies.

– Controlling the enemies’ stunned duration in order to do a full Angels of Delusion combo is very important, as Aria deal 50% more damage to enemies under the stunned state, so players should be quick with your combo execution while the enemies are still stunned.

– You will be rewarded with a special Angels of Delusion unique effect when all 3 characters are on field at the same time and you executing their combo correctly.

With that, we have gone over how players can bes play the complete Angels of Delusion team comp in Zenless Zone Zero in order to dish out the most amount of damage and clear all of the game’s endgame contents with ease.
