Additionally, during your exploration of the new areas in Mengzhou, players will be able to meet with old and new faces alike, with the introduction of the Sentinel Resonator Hsin and an entirely brand new Resonator in the form of Suoming

Brand New Character Release

Of course, with the release of a brand new update version, Wuthering Waves will also be introducing several brand new characters into the game. For this update patch, 2 new characters will be making their debut: The 5-Star Electro Rectifier Resonator Hsin and the 5-Star Electro Sword Resonator Suoming.

Hsin is an upcoming 5-Star Resonator of the Electro Element that uses a Rectifier as her main weapon. She has the ability to change between 2 different modes, allowing her to become the Electro Flare Main DPS character or a powerful universal Support character based on which mode she is in.

Hsin’s skill kit and abilities revolves mainly around her 2 different Resonance Modes, allowing her to turn herself into 2 different roles inside the team: Unison Mode making her into a powerful support and sub DPS character in the team, while Electro Flare Mode makes her into a very powerful Electro Flare Main DPS character.

In Electro Flare Mode, whenever the team inflicts Electro Flare negative status on enemies, Hsin will gain special Forte Gauge Energy and generate special effects stacks for herself, helping to boost her overall damage to enemies with Electro Flare. Upon gaining enough stacks of her special attack, Hsin can consume the stack to trigger Electro Flare damage against enemies, dealing massive amounts of damage to them based on the amount of Electro Flare stacks on them. Furthermore, Hsin herself can inflict a large amount of Electro Flare stacks on enemies, helping to facilitate her own playstyle. Additionally, when Hsin and Electro Rover are in the same team, both of them will gain additional beneficial effects whenever either of them inflict Electro Flare on enemies.

In Unison Mode, Hsin will instead serve as a powerful support for the team, granting the team the unique Unison effect and boost the damage output of the entire team whenever Outro and Intro Skills are triggered. In this mode, Hsin grants allies the special Unison effect, which can allow the incoming Operator and the operator that leaves the field to simultaneously trigger their Intro and Outro Skill at the same time, consuming their Unison Stacks and does not consume their Forte Gauge. This makes it so that players can trigger the team’s Intro and Outro skill effects extremely easily without having to worry about filling Forte Gauge, extremely useful for quickswap teams. Additionally, when Outro and Intro Skills are triggered with the Hsin’s Unison effect, she will grants the entire team powerful Damage Amplification effects as well.

Upon using her Resonance Liberation, Hsin can change herself into a special form, granting her special movesets and more powerful abilities in both forms. Overall, Hsin is an incredibly versatile Character in the game, capable of changing between a powerful support character or a Electro Flare main DPS character based on which team players want to use her in.

Suoming is an upcoming 5-Star Resonator of the Electro Element that uses a sword as her main weapon. She specializes in utilizing the brand new Unison effect to grants amazing Electro buffs to an ally while also being able to deal massive amounts of Basic Attack damage to enemies when she is on the field.

Suoming is a brand new Electro Support/ DPS character whose skill kit revolves around the brand new Unison Effect, which allows her to be a powerful on-field DPS while also being an amazing Electro Support Character with her talent and Outro Skill Effect.

Suoming’s skill kit is divided into 3 different stages, with the higher the stage, the more damage she deals and the more powerful she becomes. By attacking enemies with basic Attacks, Suoming can accumulate her Forte Gauge until it reaches full. Then, by using her Resonance Skill, she can enter the next stage of her effect – Deep Mind. When in Deep Mind, Suoming’s damage will be enhanced and she can continuously accumulate forte gauge energy by attacking enemies. Once full, Suoming can once again uses her Resonance Skill to enter Calamity Mind. When in Calamity Mind, Suoming can perform basic attack or hold basic attack to consumes all of her Forte Gauge Stacks, dealing massive amounts of Electro damage to enemies and enter her initial Awakened Mind state.

Upon using her Resonance Liberation, Suoming will gain the Unison effect, which allows her to trigger her outro skill and the incoming ally’s intro skill at the same time without needing to spend Suoming’s Forte gauge. Once this effect is triggered, the Suoming will grant the incoming Resonator a massive boost in Electro Damage output in addition to her amazing Outro Skill buffs, allowing the incoming ally to deal massive amounts of Electro Damage.

Suoming is an incredible potential main DPS and a powerful Electro Support Character thanks to her Unison effect, making her an extremely valuable character to be used with characters like Hsin.

Version Banner Schedule

The 3.7 Update Patch for Wuthering Waves will last 42 days as per usual, with 2 Banner phases during its duration. 

The first phase of the 3.7 Update Patch will feature the rate up banner for the brand new 5-Star Electro Rectifier Resonator Hsin alongside her signature weapon. Alongside her release, other 5-Star Resonators will also be having their rerun banners, with Chisa and Iuno most likely being the rerunning characters.

The second phase of the 3.7 Update Patch will feature the rate up banner for the brand new 5-Star Electro Sword Resonator Suoming alongside her signature weapon. Aside from that, Lucilla and Lynae will most likely be rerun alongside her during this banner period.

2-Pc: Electro DMG + 10%

5-Pc: Inflicting Electro Flare on the target, obtaining Unison, or triggering Unison Response increases the Resonator’s Crit. Rate by 15% and grants them 22.5% Electro DMG for 30s.

– Flash of Electric Reflection

2-Pc: Electro DMG + 10%

5-Pc: When the Resonator inflicts Electro Flare on enemies, they gain the following effects: Gain 10% Electro DMG Bonus for 15s. While this effect is active, casting Outro Skill grants the incoming Resonator 25% Electro DMG Bonus for 15s.

– Flower of Tinged Yearning

2-Pc: Healing + 10%

5-Pc: Healing a Resonator in the team increases the ATK of all Resonators in the team by 10% for 30s. Effects of the same name cannot be stacked. While the effect is active, if the Resonator gains Unison or triggers Unison Response, their ATK is further increased by 15%.
