Version 3.6, Lamplight in Mirage, Sword’s Resolve in Heart, pushed the meta toward three pillars: Tune Break / Tune Strain, Negative Status (Havoc Bane, Glacio Chafe, Fusion Burst, Aero Erosion, Spectro Frazzle), and amplifying supports that heal while they multiply damage.

Characters climb this list when they do at least two of the following:

• Clear Tower of Adversity and Whimpering Wastes at baseline Sequence 0
• Enable more than one meta archetype (Tune Rupture, Fusion Burst, Havoc Bane, Heavy Attack)
• Stay useful after the next banner instead of dying the moment a new DPS lands
• Work at reasonable investment, not only at Sequence 6 with a signature weapon

Older 1.X kits did not get deleted. They simply stopped defining the patch. That is why Jiyan can still feel great in your hands and still sit in A, and why Yangyang the original 4-star lives in D while Yangyang Xuanling sits in SS.

Aemeath — Fusion Sword hypercarry who refuses to pick one job

Aemeath is the rare DPS who is first pick in Tune Rupture, Fusion Burst, and mono-Fusion. Swap Resonance Mode and she stops being “the Fusion girl” and becomes the engine for Lynae–Mornye Tune Break or Denia Fusion Burst. That flexibility is why she stays SS when single-mode carries slide. Build her if you want one limited DPS that survives banner rotations.

Chisa — The Negative Status support everyone actually needs

Chisa searches spike whenever a new DoT or Bane DPS drops. She raises Negative Status stack caps, shreds DEF, and still deals real Havoc damage from the off-field slot. Yangyang Xuanling, Hiyuki, Aemeath Fusion Burst, and Cartethyia all want her because her buffs are not ATK-locked. HP scalers can use her without wasting the kit and if your account lives on statuses, Chisa is not a luxury support. She is the slot.

Denia — Fusion Burst applicator who also feeds Tune Strain

Denia is the reason Fusion Burst teams in this Wuthering Waves tier list feel complete. She applies the status, buffs the detonation, and still contributes Tune Break value for Luuk Herssen and Qingxiao cores. Players looking up “Denia worth it 3.6” are usually trying to decide between her and a raw healer. Take her if Aemeath or a Tune Strain DPS is already on the account; skip her if you only play Heavy Attack hypercarries with no Burst mode.

Hiyuki — Glacio Chafe carry with anniversary-level multipliers

Jingran — Version 3.6’s Fusion Broadblade, HP-scaling Heavy Attack DPS

Jingran is why this patch’s best characters to pull list becomes a highlight. He scales with Max HP, generates personal shields, swaps Yin/Yang through enhanced Heavy Attacks, and ignores the old ATK-buffer tax. That is the entire 3.X design thesis in one kit. Jingran is SS because he is new and because the supports already on accounts (Iuno, Shorekeeper, Mortefi, Lupa) plug into him immediately. If you only pull one 3.6 DPS, this is the one the current Fusion floor is built around.

Lucilla — Best Glacio Chafe applier in the game

Lucilla searches come from Hiyuki and Carlotta owners who want off-field Chafe without giving up damage. She is a Glacio Rectifier sub-DPS who applies the status cleanly, buffs the Chafe team, and still posts numbers that embarrass older on-field Glacio units. If Hiyuki is your carry, Lucilla is the teammate that makes the team feel “finished” instead of “workable.”

Lynae — Tune Break driver and the tax you pay for Tune teams

Every Tune Strain or Tune Rupture guide ends on the same sentence: you need Lynae. She is the Spectro Pistol driver who forces Tune Breaks, then amplifies the damage that follows. Qingxiao, Aemeath in Rupture mode, and Luuk Herssen all shrink without her. Pull Lynae if you plan to live in the Tune side of 3.6. Ignore her if your entire account is Negative Status and Heavy Attack.

Mornye — Healer who also builds Off-Tune and damage amp

Mornye is the support rerun that actually deserves panic. She heals, feeds Off-Tune / Tune Break setups, and amps team damage without forcing you into one element. That is why she sits next to Shorekeeper and Suisui instead of in the “nice healer” pile. On the current Phase 2 banner Mornye is the safest long-term pull if your roster already has a DPS and is missing a modern sustain unit.

Qingxiao — 3.6 Phase 1 Aero Sword, Tune Strain main DPS

Qingxiao walked into Tower of Adversity as a top-bracket Aero Tune Strain carry. With sword kit, state-swapping, stack-enhanced attacks, signature Glint of Clouds, she is the reason Phase 1 drained savings before Jingran even appeared. Qinxiao wants premium Tune partners (Lynae, Denia, Mornye) more than a lone hypercarry wants Shorekeeper, so her SS rank assumes you will build the engine around her, not park her with two random 4-stars.

Shorekeeper — Still the universal Crit healer

Shorekeeper did not fall off when Suisui and Mornye arrived. She remains the plug-and-play Crit Rate / Crit DMG healer who works on ATK scalers, HP scalers, and every Rover form. If you can only keep one premium sustain built, Shorekeeper is still the one that slots into three Tower teams without rewriting Echoes.

Suisui — Buffs, heals, and raises status caps in one kit

Suisui is the Glacio Rectifier that made “do I need Shorekeeper anymore?” a real question. She raises effect stack caps, dumps ATK and team DMG amp, heals, and can eat a lethal hit for an ally. At Sequence 0, Suisui is glued to Yangyang Xuanling and Hiyuki; with investment she leaks into other Negative Status teams. If you play Bane or Chafe, Suisui is the SS support that feels like cheating.

Yangyang Xuanling — SP Havoc Sword, current damage ceiling

Yangyang Xuanling is the first SP-rank Resonator and still the unit other DPS get compared against from this WuWa 3.6 tier list. Havoc Bane, Heavy Attack / Feather Sword stance, and self-buffs that let her delete bosses with a free-ish core (Chisa + Suisui or even Mortefi + Verina). If you are looking for the best DPS WuWa 3.6, then, Yangyang’s name is a must. If she is on the account, she is the first Resonator you finish Echoes on.

S Tier — Excellent Investments That Still Clear Everything

S-tier Resonators from this Wuthering Waves 3.6 tier list are not consolation prizes. They clear the same endgame. They just need a slightly more specific team or lose a race against an SS unit built the same way.

Cartethyia sits in S on this list because Tune Strain Aero (Qingxiao) and newer amplifiers stole some of the “default Aero” conversation, not because she stopped clearing Tower

Qiuyuan	The Echo Skill damage buffer that Phrolova teams are built around. If your damage lives on Echo casts, Qiuyuan is not optional. If you never touch that archetype, he can wait
Sigrika	Aero DPS built around Echo Skill damage, self-buffs, and crowd control. She is the other answer to “who is the Aero carry if I do not own Cartethyia or Qingxiao?” High floor, slightly narrower team identity than the SS Aero options.
Verina	The free healer who still has a job in 2026. Coordinated attacks, team ATK buff, resurrection at Sequence 4. She is S because every new account and every third Tower team still needs a sustain unit that does not cost limited pity

A Tier — Strong Specialists and Collab Stars

In the WuWa 3.6 tier list, A-tier is where most well-built older 5-stars and the Cyberpunk pair live. You do not pull these from a Wuthering Waves tier list to “fix” an account that already has SS cores. You build them because you own them, you enjoy them, or one specific floor buffs their damage type.

• Cantarella — Havoc Rectifier enabler for Phrolova / mono-Havoc, with light sustain baked in.

• Carlotta — Still the best pure Glacio Crit pistol carry; Glacio as a whole just is not the patch headline.
• Jiyan — Classic Aero Heavy Attack DPS. Still fun, still AoE-strong, no longer the Aero default.

• Lucy — Cyberpunk Spectro Pistol Heavy Attack carry with Tune Hack tools. Huge burst if you built the collab set; less universal than 3.X status cores.
• Phoebe — Spectro hybrid who can main or sub. Comfortable Frazzle piece, not a must-pull anymore.

• Rebecca — Collab Electro amp / Tune-shifting off-fielder. Free for many accounts and still a legitimate buffer.
• Sanhua — The 4-star Glacio sub-DPS that keeps outperforming her rarity. First build for any new Glacio team.

• Zani — Spectro Frazzle carry who used to own the element. Still excellent; Spectro’s best supports moved toward Tune and Shorekeeper cores.

B Tier — Playable, Sometimes Preferred, Rarely Worth New Pity

B-tier is the honest home of launch and mid-game favorites from your WuWa tier list. They clear overworld, events, and mid Tower. They should not eat limited Radiant Tides unless you are collecting.

• Baizhi — Dedicated 4-star healer from the WuWa 3.6 tier list. Jingran F2P teams still use her. Do not invest limited resources here.

• Brant — Fusion Sword hybrid with shields and buffs. Overlaps with Lupa / Mornye / Jingran supports.
• Buling — 4-star healer who applies Electro Flare. Nice niche, not a roster fixer.

• Calcharo — Standard-banner Electro Liberation DPS. Fine reroll leftover, not a 3.6 pull.
• Camellya — On-field Havoc with a high skill ceiling. Power-crept by Xuanling and Phrolova, still stylish.

• Changli — Fusion Sword quickswap legend. Still a great teammate for Jingran mono-Fusion; no longer a premier on-fielder.
• Danjin — 4-star Havoc glass cannon. High ceiling, brutal floor, worse payoff than modern Havoc options.

• Encore — Standard Fusion Rectifier. Beginner-friendly Cosmos Rave carry that stops scaling with the 3.X ceiling.
• Jinhsi — Spectro Broadblade Incandescence DPS. Still pretty. No longer the Spectro answer.

• Mortefi — 4-star Fusion coordinated-attack / Heavy Attack buffer. Quietly one of the best F2P pieces for Jingran and Xuanling.
• Roccia — Havoc Gauntlet brawler. High risk, close range, outpaced by cleaner Havoc cores.

• Rover (Aero) — Applies Aero negative effects and remains a free Aero slot. Build if Cartethyia or Qingxiao needs a third body.
• Rover (Havoc) — Still the best free Havoc DPS for new accounts. B-tier against limited Havoc, A-tier for the first month of a new UID.
• Rover (Spectro) — Early-game comfort pick. Benches once Shorekeeper / Phoebe / Lynae exist.
• Xiangli Yao — Electro Liberation carry from 1.X that aged into “good enough.”

• Zhezhi — Glacio Resonance Skill buffer and Carlotta’s old best friend. Still the right sub if Carlotta is your main.

C Tier — Outclassed in the Same Role

Use these from your WuWa 3.6 tier list when the element check or a story trial forces it. Do not start a new Echo farm for them in 3.6.

• Aalto — Aero 4-star who taunts and buffs Aero damage. Utility, not a carry.

• Chixia — Starter Fusion pistol. Overworld fine, Tower filler.
• Lingyang — Launch Glacio Gauntlet DPS. Hiyuki and Carlotta made the kit feel historical.

• Rover (Electro) — The Rover form almost nobody keeps built.
• Yinlin — Once the universal Electro off-field queen. Coordinated attacks still work; the rest of the roster out-buffed her.

• Yuanwu — Electro 4-star whose shield/parry identity never became a meta pillar.

D Tier — Keep for Exploration, Not for Crests

• Jianxin — Launch Gauntlet support. Shields and grouping, zero 3.6 damage identity.

• Lumi — 4-star utility that never found a floor that needed her.
• Taoqi — Havoc shielder from 1.0. Sustain without buffs is not enough anymore.

• Yangyang — The original Aero 4-star. Energy on Outro is cute. Yangyang Xuanling made the comparison cruel.
• Youhu — Randomized support kit that is more meme than plan.

You do not need six SS units from your WuWa 3.6 tier list. You only need two complete teams for Tower and a third that does not collapse in Whimpering Wastes.

When a Hazard floor buffs Fusion and Tunability, park Jingran or Aemeath there and send Xuanling at Resonant. When Echoing leans Aero, Qingxiao or Cartethyia should get the good healer. Split Shorekeeper, Suisui, and Mornye across teams instead of stacking all three on one screenshot comp.

Who to Pull in Version 3.6 (Pity Priority)

Phase 2 is live where Jingran debuts while Hiyuki and Mornye rerun. That is a brutal three-way split, so spend in this order unless your roster already answers the question.

1. Mornye — if you lack a modern 3.X healer/amp and already own a DPS.
2. Jingran — if Fusion Heavy Attack is empty and you own Iuno, Shorekeeper, Lupa, or even Mortefi.
3. Hiyuki — if Glacio Chafe is empty and Lucilla or Suisui is waiting.
4. Qingxiao (if you still have Phase 1 pity parked) — only with Lynae / Tune pieces ready.
5. Signatures after the character. A Sequence 0 SS unit with a strong 5-star craftable still beats Sequence 0 with a 4-star stick in most 3.6 floors.

Enjoygm can actually changes a run in this phase. Jingran’s kit wants HP, Heavy Attack amplification, and a signature Broadblade if you can afford the extra Convene. Topping up Lunites through Enjoygm before you touch the weapon banner is how you avoid the classic 3.6 mistake: winning the character, then running him on a mismatched 4-star until the next rerun.

Skip limited 4-star rate-ups unless you are specifically hunting Mortefi for Heavy Attack teams. Sanhua is already good from the standard pool. Yangyang on a rate-up is not a reason to pull.
