Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.7 First Phase Rate Up Banners – Which Banner To Roll On

The first phase banners of Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.7 update will begin on March 24th, 2026 and will last until April 14th, 2026, lasting for a total of 21 days. The 2 S Rank Agents that will have their rated up banners during this phase are the brand new S Rank Ether Stun Specialty Agent Nangong Yu and the returning S Rank Ice Rupture Agent Yidhari, alongside their respective signature W-Engines.

Nangong Yu

Nangong Yu is a S Rank Agent of the Stun Specialty and Ether Element in Zenless Zone Zero and is the last member of the Angels of Delusion. She is a very unique stunner that scales off Anomaly Proficiency instead of the usual Impact stat for a Stun Specialty Agent and specializes in enabling different Abloom effects for Anomaly Agents in the team to take advantage of and deal amazing damage.

Nangong Yu’s playstyle is relatively simple in nature despite having a lot of text, with her main gimmick lies mainly in her ability to allow the team to deal Abloom damage and additional Burst damage on enemies when attacking enemies under Attribute Anomaly effects.

When on the field, Nangong Yu can consume Downbeat Points to charge up her Basic Attack to different stages to attack enemies, with the more points she consume allowing her to deal more hits and deal more Daze damage to enemies. Nangong Yu can gain Downbeat Points gradually while she is on field or whenever her allies trigger Attribute Anomaly effects on enemies.

After stunning the enemies with her attacks, whenever the team triggers an Abloom, Attribute Anomaly effect or Disorder effect on the enemies, Nangong Yu will inflict a stack of Vibrato on enemies. When they have 4 stacks of Vibrato and recover from stagger, they will be inflicted with a massive burst damage instance of Abloom damage from Nangong Yu.

Pull Rating: 9/10. A Unique Anomaly-based Stun Specialty Agent

Unlike other Stun Agents whose specialty lies in their ability to deal as much Daze as possible to stun enemies and create opportunities for the team, Nangong Yu’s skill kit allows her to do both that and enable amazing Anomaly based damage effect to enemies when she is in Anomaly-based teams. 

Nangong Yu is a very special case for a Stun Agent where she wants to be in an Anomaly Team, helping to both facilitate the team with Abloom, Disorder and even stunning the enemies with her powerful skill kit. She can work in both normal and Anomaly-centric teams, making her a very powerful Agent to have.

Yidhari

Yidhari is an S Rank Agent of the Rupture Specialty and Ice Element. She specializes in dealing HP-based Ice elemental Sheer damage to enemies in a wide Area with her ability to consume her own HP and trigger Ether Veil.

Yidhari is a relatively simple Agent in essence: she consumes a lot of her HP in exchange for the ability to deal more Ice damage to enemies based on the amount of HP she sacrificed. When she is under Ether Veil effects, her damage is massively enhanced overall, allowing her to deal more damage to enemies.

Yidhari’s skill kit lies in her ability to consume up to 50% of her HP to massively enhance and imbue her Basic Attacks with Ice Elemental effects, allowing her to deal devastating HP-based Ice Sheer damage to groups of enemies by herself. She serves as a pure DPS character with little to no extra gimmicks to herself, yet is still extremely efficient in what she does, especially when she is under the Ether Veil effect activated by herself or others.

Pull Rating: 8/10. A Powerful Ice DPS Character

Yidhari is a relatively comfortable Ice DPS character tho use whose abilities does not require much skill yet still being able to dish out large amounts of damage to enemies overall.

Due to her Nature as a Rupture character, she excels when the team can accommodate her HP-based and Sheer Damage with dedicated buffs, otherwise, she will fall a bit short in terms of damage when compared to others Ice DPS characters in the game, so players should take this into consideration.

Nangong Yu Signature W-Engine Neon Fantasies

Effect: The equipper’s Anomaly Proficiency increases by 90. When the equipper’s EX Special Attack or Basic Attack deals Ether DMG, all squad members’ DMG dealt increases by 15% for 40s, stacking up to 2 times. This effect can trigger once per use of a skill and repeated triggers reset the duration. With 2 stacks, the equipper’s Anomaly Proficiency increases by an additional 60. Only one instance of this effect can exist in the same squad

Pull Rating: 10/10 For Nangong Yu, 2/10 for others.

Nangong Yu’s signature W-Engine grants her massive amounts of Anomaly stats she needs and allows her to buff the entire team’s damage output when she attacks, helping to optimize both her overall damage output and support capabilities.

For others, this W-Engine literally does not offer any good stats for Stun Agents and no other Stun Agents can make use of its effects, so player should not roll this W-Engine if you don’t have Nangong Yu.

Yidhari Signature W-Engine Kraken’s Cradle

Effect: When the equipper’s HP decreases, their Ice Sheer DMG increases by 6%, stacking up to 3 times and lasting 25s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s. When the equipper’s HP falls to 50% of Max HP or below, CRIT Rate increases by 20%.

Pull Rating: 10/10 For Yidhari, 5/10 for others.

Yidhari’s Signature W-Engine offers her a much needed Sheer Ice Damage increase in addition to a critical stat increase, helping to maximize her overall damage output as a main DPS character.

For other characters, the W-Engine effects are too specific for it to be activated by other characters, but players can still use it as a stat stick for Rupture characters due to its HP stat.

The 2nd phase rate up banners for Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.7 Update will start right after the first phase and last until the 5th of May, 2026, lasting for a total of 21 days. The 2 characters on rate up will be the brand new S Rank Electric Attack Specialty Agent Cissia and the returning S Rank Electric Attack Specialty Agent Seed, alongside their signature W-Engines.

Cissia

Cissia is a S Rank Agent of the Attack Specialty and Electric Element. She is a main DPS character of the Electric team that specializes in dealing constant Basic Attacks damage to enemies, gaining Venom stacks to trigger her special basic Attack on enemies to deal multiple instances of powerful defense-ignoring Electric damage to them.

Cissia’s gameplay revolves around 2 main gimmicks: her Venom stacks and her ability to inflict enemies with Corrode Bone status, which allows her and the team to deal additional Electric damage that ignores a portion of the enemies’ defense when attacking them.

When attacking enemies using her abilities, Cissia will gain a certain amount of Venom stacks, for a maximum total of 18 stacks of Venom. These Venom stacks can be spent by holding her Basic Attack, allowing her to trigger her Enhanced Basic Attack, converting 6 of her Venom stacks into 1 Serpentine Shadow (max 3) and allow her to deal a multiple hit attacks on enemies that deals Electric damage and can be prolonged based on the amount of Serpentine Shadow stacks she has. After doing this attack, all Venom stacks will be consumed to trigger the Corrode Bone status on enemies and allow Cissia to trigger a Quick Assist.

Enemies under the Corrode Bone status take more Electric Damage from the entire squad. Cissia will continuously consume Venom stacks to apply Corrode Bone status on enemies. Additionally, when the team has Venom stacks, Electric damage dealt by the team will ignore a portion of the enemies’ defenses, with the percentage increasing based on Cissia’s Energy Regen stat. Additionally, by holding her EX Special Attack and consuming Energy, Cissia can deal continuous Electric damage to enemies, allowing her to gain massive amounts of Venom stacks and constantly triggering the Corrode Bone status on enemies, dealing amazing Electric Damage to enemies.

Pull Rating: 10/10. An Extremely Powerful Electric DPS Character

Cissia is a very strong Electric DPS character and is an excellent enabler for any Electric Damage centric team comps due to her amazing Corrode Bone effect, allowing the entire team and herself to deal defense-ignoring Electric Damage to enemies, helping to not only massively boost her own damage output but the entire team’s as well. She is a core enabler DPS character for any Electric-centric team comps.

Seed

Seed is an S Rank Agent of the Electric Element and Attack Specialty. She excels at dealing powerful EX Special Attack Electric Damage to enemies and works amazingly as a main or sub DPS for the Electric damage team.

Seed’s skill kit focuses on gaining as much EX Special Energy as possible whenever other allies triggers their EX Special Attacks against enemies, allowing her to recover and conserve large amounts of her own EX Special Attack Gauge. 

Upon having enough energy, Seed can spend the energy to switch to the field and bombard the enemies with large amounts of projectiles, missiles and deal massive amounts of Electric Damage to enemies, raising her special Core Skill Gauge. Once her Core Skill gauge is filled, Seed can unleash a devastating blow of Electric damage to enemies in a wide area.

Pull Rating: 7/10. A Good Electric DPS Character

Seed is a character whose entire gameplan is pure damage, with her skill kit focusing on bombarding the enemies with as much damage as possible before switching off the field. This makes her a good main or secondary DPS character for the Electric damage team. However, due to how short her damage uptime is generally, she falls short when compared to other Electric DPS options in the game and can easily be replaced by others if players don’t have her.

Cissia’s Signature W-Engine Serpentine Seeker

Effect: CRIT Rate increases by 25%. When the equipper consumes at least 20 Energy in a single instance, every 20 Energy consumed grants 3s of a buff: when dealing Electric DMG, ignore 28% of the target’s DEF. Repeated triggers extend the duration, up to a maximum of 30s. When entering combat, gain 10s of this buff. While the equipper is not the active character, the duration no longer decreases.

Pull Rating: 10/10 for Cissia. 9/10 for others.

Cissia’s Signature W-Engine grants her a massive boost in Critical Rate stats and allows her Electric Damage to ignore a large portion of the enemies’ defenses, helping to maximize her overall damage output to an absurd decree.

For other Agents, this W-Engine is one of the best universal S Rank W-Engine for any Electric Attack Specialty Agents, allowing them to deal powerful defense-ignore Electric damage to enemies as long as their EX Special Attack consumes 20 Energy at least. It is also an amazing critical statstick for any Agents.

Seed’s Signature W-Engine Cordis Germina

Effect: Increases CRIT Rate by 15%. When the equipper deals DMG with a Basic Attack or EX Special Attack, they gain 1 stack of a buff. Each stack increases the equipper’s Electric DMG by 12.5%, up to 2 stacks. Each stack lasts 40s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. Can trigger once per use of a skill. At 2 stacks, the wearer’s Basic Attack and Ultimate DMG ignore 20% of enemy DEF.

Pull Rating: 10/10 for Seed. 8/10 for others.

Seed’s signature W-Engine grants her a large boost in critical stats in addition to boosting her overall Electric Damage output whenever she uses her Basic and EX Special Attack, helping to maximize her overall damage output as a DPS character.

For other characters, this W-engine is very universal and helps to maximize various Attack Agents’ Overall Electric Damage output. So if players do not have the Agents’ Signature W-Engine, getting this W-Engine for the other Electric DPS characters is a good idea.
