The first phase banners of Zenless Zone Zero  3.2 Update will begin on September 9th, 2026 and will last for a total of 21 days. The 2 S Rank Agents that will have their rated up banners during this phase are the brand new S Rank Electric Armorer Specialty Agent Claret and the S Rank Ether Stun Specialty Agent Nangong Yu.

Claret

Claret is a S Rank Agent of the Electric Element and the brand new Armorer Specialty that specializes in dealing Defense-based damage to enemies. She specializes in inflicting special statuses to enemies while dealing damage to gain resources and massively enhances her playstyle.

Claret skill kit revolves around 3 main gimmicks: Sharp Damage, Gash Values and her powerful Crimson Inscription state.

As an Armorer Specialty Agent, all of Claret’s attacks and damage will be considered Sharp Damage, which scales entirely off her defense stat instead of her attack stats. Upon dealing Sharp Damage to enemies, Claret will accumulate Gash Values on enemies and inflict the Gash status on enemies when they have accumulated enough of the value. An enemy can have up to 3 stacks of Gash status on them and whenever Gash is inflicted on the enemy, Claret will gain 1 stack of Personal Resources, which boost her damage output.

Whenever Claret deals a critical hit to the enemy, instead of taking the critical damage calculations into account and boosting her damage output, the critical hit will instead be calculated as  Laceration DMG, which takes Claret’s Critical Rate into account instead. The more Critical Rate Claret has that exceed the 100% threshold, the more likely an instance of  Laceration DMG will trigger whenever she inflicts a Critical Hit on the enemies, allowing Claret to deal multiple instances of critical hits to enemies the higher her critical rate value is.

When she consumes her Sharp value upon her EX Special Attack hit, Claret will enter the Crimson Inscription state, which massively boost the damage output and critical rate of Claret in addition to allowing her to use special moves and attacks while in this state. 

Pull Rating: 8/10. An Interesting Investment Of A Character.

Claret, as a character of an entirely brand new class of character, is a very interesting case, where it is still relatively unsure how she will perform in the long term as there are no examples of her class performing well yet. As of her release, Claret is set to be a very powerful Electric DPS character with very interesting gimmicks and effects, however, due to her new class status, players might find it hard to fit her into many different existing teams in the game. Therefore, she should serve as an investment character for players who really want her to work well in the meta in the future.

Nangong Yu

Nangong Yu is a S Rank Agent of the Stun Specialty and Ether Element in Zenless Zone Zero and is the last member of the Angels of Delusion. She is a very unique stunner that scales off Anomaly Proficiency instead of the usual Impact stat for a Stun Specialty Agent and specializes in enabling different Abloom effects for Anomaly Agents in the team to take advantage of and deal amazing damage.

Nangong Yu’s playstyle is relatively simple in nature despite having a lot of text, with her main gimmick lies mainly in her ability to allow the team to deal Abloom damage and additional Burst damage on enemies when attacking enemies under Attribute Anomaly effects.

When on the field, Nangong Yu can consume Downbeat Points to charge up her Basic Attack to different stages to attack enemies, with the more points she consume allowing her to deal more hits and deal more Daze damage to enemies. Nangong Yu can gain Downbeat Points gradually while she is on field or whenever her allies trigger Attribute Anomaly effects on enemies.

After stunning the enemies with her attacks, whenever the team triggers an Abloom, Attribute Anomaly effect or Disorder effect on the enemies, Nangong Yu will inflict a stack of Vibrato on enemies. When they have 4 stacks of Vibrato and recover from stagger, they will be inflicted with a massive burst damage instance of Abloom damage from Nangong Yu.

Additionally, when Nangong Yu Additional Ability is active, when teammates attack enemies in Stunned State, all allies will gain additional Attribute Anomaly buildup rate, allowing the team to inflict Attribute Anomaly more effectively. When enemies are stunned, Nangong Yu will gain a special Dance Prowess stack that will be consumed when attacking enemies under both stunned and attribute anomaly effect to trigger a Disorder effect on them, dealing massive amounts of Anomaly damage. This effect is further enhanced if Aria is in the team.

Roxy

Roxy Pryce is an upcoming S Rank Agent of the Wind Element and Stun Specialty who specializes in dealing explosive wind damage to enemies to quickly raise the enemies’ Daze gauge and inflict Stun on enemies to help the team deal more damage to enemies.

Roxy Pryce skill kit revolves around her ability to deal explosive Wind damage to enemies and quickly raise the enemies’ daze gauge to inflict stun to them and allow the entire team to deal more damage to enemies under the Contamination effect.

Roxy Pryce’s main damage skill is her EX Special Skill, which allows her to summon a tornado on the field that she can spend her energy to continuously maintain on the field, sucking in enemies and continuously deal Wind damage to them while also raising their Daze gauge. The longer the tornado stays on the field, the more damage it does and the more energy it consumes. Upon consuming enough energy, the tornado will generate Wind Energy for Roxy Pryce, which can be used to trigger her EX Special Skill’s additional effect.

At the end of the EX Special Attack, upon releasing the tornado, Roxy Pryce will consume Wind Energy generated during her EX Special Attack to fire multiple rounds of Wind explosions at the enemies, the more Wind Energy she has, the more explosions are fired. When these explosions happen, they will generate small tornados that will track enemies and follow them, dealing Wind damage to enemies.

Pull Rating: 8/10. A Decently Powerful Stun Agent with Amazing AoE Damage

Roxy Pryce is a very good Stun Agent whose main goal is to inflict as much Daze on as many enemies as possible while she is on the field, making her a very good and simple Stun Agent for new and old players to use.

Promeia

Promeia is a S-Rank Agent of the Ice Element and Anomaly Specialty. She specializes in performing multiple different tricks on enemies with her Special Attack to apply the Ice Anomaly effect on enemies while also dealing and gaining beneficial effects when enemies are inflicted with other Anomaly effects.

Promeia’s skill kit revolves around dealing constant Basic and Skill Attacks to enemies to quickly raise the enemies’ Anomaly Gauge and trigger the Ice Anomaly effect on them, dealing massive amounts of damage. Additionally, her skill kit revolves around the Frostbite stacks and Frost Sentence Effect.

When attacking enemies with her attacks, Promeia will recover Frostbite stacks for herself and gain additional Frostbite stacks on herself when her or her allies trigger various Attribute Anomaly effects on enemies. Upon accumulating 50 Frostbite stacks, she can convert them into 1 Frost Sentence Stack, up to 2 stacks.

When dealing damage to enemies, if they are already inflicted with the Anomaly Attribute effects of other elements, Promeia is able to spend 1 Frost Sentence to trigger Abloom on the enemies, dealing powerful damage to them and recovering Decibels for herself. While doing her combo, Promeia can follow up certain abilities with her special EX Attack, performing various powerful tricks depending on which abilities she followed up.

Promeia is essentially yet another Anomaly character for the game with the ability to quickly raise the enemies Anomaly Attribute gauge and trigger powerful damage to enemies. She is able to deal powerful Anomaly effects to enemies in addition to triggering Abloom.

Pull Rating: 9/10. A Powerful Anomaly Agent that Deals Amazing Abloom Damage.

Promeia is an Anomaly Agent whose gameplay centers around dealing Abloom damage, making her standout as a unique DPS character when compared to other characters of the same class like Miyabi. Her gameplay is relatively easy to understand and her damage output is very high, making her a good DPS option for players to get if they don’t have good meta DPS options in the game yet.
