3rd Season Brand New Main Story Quest 

With the release of version 3.2 update patch, the 3rd season of the game’s main story continues, with the players accompanying our main characters in Roscaelifer, a brand new region with floating islands. 

Here, players will be able to meet a whole host of brand new characters that will accompany us in the brand new season, many of which will eventually become playable as Agents. This time, the story will revolve around the enigmatic Claret and her assistant Roxy Pryce.

Brand New Playable Agents

Coming with the release of the 3.2 Update Patch, players will have the chance to roll for and add 2 brand new S Rank Agents into their roster – the S-Rank Electric Armorer Specialty Agent Claret and the S-Rank Wind Stun Specialty Agent Roxy

Claret is an upcoming S Rank Agent of the Electric Element and the brand new Armorer Specialty that specializes in dealing Defense-based damage to enemies. She specializes in inflicting special statuses to enemies while dealing damage to gain resources and massively enhances her playstyle.

Claret skill kit revolves around 3 main gimmicks: Sharp Damage, Gash Values and her powerful Crimson Inscription state.

As an Armorer Specialty Agent, all of Claret’s attacks and damage will be considered Sharp Damage, which scales entirely off her defense stat instead of her attack stats. Upon dealing Sharp Damage to enemies, Claret will accumulate Gash Values on enemies and inflict the Gash status on enemies when they have accumulated enough of the value. An enemy can have up to 3 stacks of Gash status on them and whenever Gash is inflicted on the enemy, Claret will gain 1 stack of Personal Resources, which boost her damage output.

Whenever Claret deals a critical hit to the enemy, instead of taking the critical damage calculations into account and boosting her damage output, the critical hit will instead be calculated as  Laceration DMG, which takes Claret’s Critical Rate into account instead. The more Critical Rate Claret has that exceed the 100% threshold, the more likely an instance of  Laceration DMG will trigger whenever she inflicts a Critical Hit on the enemies, allowing Claret to deal multiple instances of critical hits to enemies the higher her critical rate value is.

When she consumes her Sharp value upon her EX Special Attack hit, Claret will enter the Crimson Inscription state, which massively boost the damage output and critical rate of Claret in addition to allowing her to use special moves and attacks while in this state.

Roxy Pryce is an upcoming S Rank Agent of the Wind Element and Stun Specialty who specializes in dealing explosive wind damage to enemies to quickly raise the enemies’ Daze gauge and inflict Stun on enemies to help the team deal more damage to enemies.

Roxy Pryce skill kit revolves around her ability to deal explosive Wind damage to enemies and quickly raise the enemies’ daze gauge to inflict stun to them and allow the entire team to deal more damage to enemies under the Contamination effect.

Roxy Pryce’s main damage skill is her EX Special Skill, which allows her to summon a tornado on the field that she can spend her energy to continuously maintain on the field, sucking in enemies and continuously deal Wind damage to them while also raising their Daze gauge. The longer the tornado stays on the field, the more damage it does and the more energy it consumes. Upon consuming enough energy, the tornado will generate Wind Energy for Roxy Pryce, which can be used to trigger her EX Special Skill’s additional effect.

At the end of the EX Special Attack, upon releasing the tornado, Roxy Pryce will consume Wind Energy generated during her EX Special Attack to fire multiple rounds of Wind explosions at the enemies, the more Wind Energy she has, the more explosions are fired. When these explosions happen, they will generate small tornados that will track enemies and follow them, dealing Wind damage to enemies.

Brand New Agent Specialty

With the release of version 3.2 Update Patch and the release of Claret, an entirely brand new Agent Specialty will be introduced into Zenless Zone Zẻo in the form of the Armorer Specialty.

The Armorer Specialty is yet another Specialty that signifies a DPS Agent’s role, similar to Attack Specialty or Rupture Specialty. Similar to how Attack Specialty signifies Agents that deals damage based on their attack stats and how the Rupture Specialty signifies Agents that deals damage based on their HP stats, Armorer signifies Agents that deals damage based on their Defense stat. The higher the Agent’s defense is, the more damage will be converted to Sharp Damage, scaling entirely off their Defense. The first Agent of this specialty will be Claret, however, from her additional ability effect, future Armorer Agents will surely be released in the near future.

Old Agents Buffs

Additional to the new items being added to the game and the brand new S Rank Agents, an old S Rank Agents will also be receiving their Potential System or buffs during this update patch as well:

– The S Rank Agent that will be receiving buffs is the S Rank Fire Stun Specialty Agent Koleda.

Brand New W-Engines 

Together with the release of Claret and Roxy, their signature W-Engines will also be added to the game:

– Claret signature W-Engine:

Sub Stat: 48% Defense

Effect: CRIT Rate increases by 25%; when the equipper’s attack hits an enemy and triggers a Sharp strike, gain 1 stack of [Enhance]:

Increases the equipper’s Electric DMG by 7%, lasting 20s; stacks up to 3 times. Repeated triggers refresh the duration of all [Enhance] stacks. Can trigger at most once every 0.1s;

When at 3 stacks of this effect, additionally increases the equipper’s Electric Sharp DMG by 12%.

– Roxy Pryce signature W-Engine:

Sub Stat: 48% Defense

Effect: The equipper’s CRIT Rate increases by 28%. DMG dealt ignores the target’s 12% Wind DMG RES. Daze inflicted increases by 36%. When the equipper is not the active character, Energy Regen increases by 2 point(s)/sec.

DMG dealt by all squad members increases by 40%. Only one instance of this effect can exist in the same squad.

Banner Schedules & Reruns

With the release of the 2 brand new S Rank Agents, their rate up banners alongside their signature W-Engines will also be releasing during the 3.2, with the banners and reruns schedules as followed:

– The first phase of the version 3.2 will feature the release of the S Rank Fire Armorer Specialty Agent Claret alongside her signature W-Engine. Additionally, players can expect 1 or 2 rerun S Rank Characters alongside her, most likely characters that can support her playstyle like Trigger, Velina or Norma.

– For the 2nd phase of version 3.2, the S-Rank Wind Stun Specialty Agent Roxy Pryce will be on rate up alongside her signature W-Engine. She will most likely be rerunning alongside S Rank Agents that can take advantage of her powerful stun effects like Promeia or Cissia.
