Sandrone Skill Kit & Playstyle Analysis

General Introduction

Sandrone is a 5-Star Cryo character that wields a claymore as her main weapon type. She specializes in summoning various powerful constructs to deal Cryo damage to enemies and activating the special Stellar-Conduct Elemental Reaction, helping to increase the damage dealt of Cryo and Electric Damage while also enhancing Sandrone’s skill effects.

Genshin Impact Sandrone

Skill Analysis & Leveling Priority

Basic Attack: Generates threads that control her weapon using formulae, performing up to 3 consecutive strikes.

Charge Attack: Summons the Facilitateur Automatise Generaliste Interactif et Omnitache, or “Fagio,” and switches it to Decoding mode: Unleashes a sweeping fire attack on enemies in front, as well as periodically fires condensed beams, dealing AoE Cryo DMG.Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: The condensed beams will instead deal AoE Cryo DMG that is considered Stellar-Conduct DMG.
While in Decoding mode, Fagio’s Decoding Power will continuously increase. Firing condensed beams will also further increase its Decoding Power.
When Fagio’s Decoding Power reaches the maximum of 100 points, it switches to Power Overdrive mode, in which it fires at opponents with longer intervals, dealing Cryo DMG. It will be unable to switch to Decoding mode at this time. When not in Decoding mode, Fagio’s Decoding Power gradually decreases. When Sandrone is off-field, she will focus on maintaining Fagio, causing its Decoding Power to decrease at 300% the original rate.Fagio exits Power Overdrive mode when its Decoding Power has decreased to under 50.

Plunging Attack: Plunges from midair to strike the ground below, dealing DMG to opponents along their path and causing AoE DMG on landing.
Leveling Priority: High
Reason: Sandrone’s main mode of damage output, should be leveled up as high as possible
Elemental Skill:  With her impeccable, ladylike poise, Sandrone boards the Tea Party Tactical Assault Hovermech and hovers forward for 6s. During this time, Sandrone can control the travel direction of the craft. Pressing Sprint consumes 10 Stamina and launches her into an elegant high-speed hover mode, in which she will move even faster at the cost of 15 Stamina per second.
When Sandrone starts hovering, if there are opponents nearby, she will also summon a Prismatic Resonance Cannon and fire 2 Prism Shots at any opponents who have yet to cool down, dealing Cryo DMG.
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: The second Prism Shot will instead deal Cryo DMG that is considered Stellar-Conduct DMG.
When on the Tea Party Tactical Assault Hovermech, Sandrone will also elegantly and quietly repair Fagio, causing its Decoding Power to decrease by 40 points when she starts her ride, and then by a further 10 points for every 0.1s she is on it.
Leveling Priority: High
Reason: Sandrone will use this ability in between her skill combos, so players should level this up to maximize her damage output
Ultimate: In line with established ladylike behavior, Sandrone summons a large number of Prismatic Resonance Cannons for a frontal bombardment before firing on her foes with a Convective Inhibition Ray, dealing AoE Cryo DMG.
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: The Convective Inhibition Ray instead deals AoE Cryo DMG that is considered Stellar-Conduct DMG.
Leveling Priority: Highest
Reason: A large majority of Sandrone’s damage comes from her Forte Gauge, so players should prioritize leveling this up as much as possible
Passive Talent 1:
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: When using the Elemental Skill Formule Phenomenale: Differential Analysis, if Fagio’s Decoding Power is greater than 50, the second Prism Shot fired by Fagio at nearby opponents will deal 400% of its original DMG as Fagio’s Decoding Power is decreased.
Additionally, for every 10 points of Decoding Power Fagio loses, it gains 1 stack of Refined Tactics for 60s (max 10 stacks). When Sandrone uses the Elemental Burst Formule Phenomenale: Q.E.D. while in the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state, all stacks of Refined Tactics are cleared, causing the Convective Inhibition Ray to deal (100% + (no. of stacks cleared ×5))% of its original DMG.
Unlock Priority: Highest
Reason: An decent inherent skill that allows Sandrone to auto dodge enemies’ attacks
Passive Talent 2:
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: Increases Sandrone’s Elemental Mastery based on her ATK. Every 100 ATK will increase her Elemental Mastery by 8. The maximum increase she can gain this way is 160.
Unlock Priority: Highest
Reason: Sandrone’s most important Inherent Skill that grants her increased interruption buff in addition to helping her boost Sandrone’s damage output even more when she uses her Resonance Liberation.

Playstyle Guide & Rotation

Sandrone’s main gimmick and damage comes from her special Stellar – Conduct damage, which is a special form of the Elemental Reaction Superconduct, which boost the damage output of Cryo and Electro damage on enemies. Additionally, Sandrone’s skill kit revolves around her ability to stay on field for a long period of time to bombard enemies with Cryo damage from her Charge Attack.

Sandrone’s main damage dealing  move is her Charge Attack, which allows her to summon a special robot to jointly deal Cryo damage to enemies. This charge attack will continuously deal Cryo damage that is also considered Stellar- Conduct damage to enemies and accumulate Decoding Power for the Robot. Once the robot’s Decoding Power reaches max, it will enter a special overload mode, dealing less Cryo damage overall with slower attack speed. Therefore, players will need to stop using her attack to allow Sandrone to reduce the Decoding Power gradually.

Sandrone’s Elemental Skill allows her to summon a hoverboard, moving quickly around the battlefield and summoning machines to attack enemies, dealing Cryo damage. Sandrone’s Elemental Burst allows her to quickly deal a big burst of Cryo damage to enemies.

Whenever Sandrone or allies trigger the Stellar- Conduct Elemental Reaction, a special Radiance field will be created, massively enhancing Sandrone’s abilities when in the field. When using Sandrone’s Elemental Skill in the field, Sandrone will quickly repair the robot and massively decrease Decoding Power, meanwhile, if she uses her Elemental Burst within the field, her Elemental Burst Will instead deal Stellar-Conduct damage instead of Cryo damage.
